It’s almost always female models where I draw; and I have to admit I’m super hetero personally so I’m fine with that (no reason, it’s just how it is, even though I’m very open minded). Anyway; we had an excellent male model this time and for whatever reason it’s my most “viral” drawings ever (not really - only in my small way). I have a feeling fans of the male figure are thirsty :)

Anyway enjoy!

Went to a life drawing session and by freak coincidence of timing and location, I was the only artist to attend. The funny thing is it actually happened to me on my last day of art school. This time was much better experience. It only felt strange for a minute. And I did offer they could wrap if they wanted to; no foul; but we went for it and had a great session.

From tonight's long pose session. Soft pastel on smooth newsprint, 18x24", 20 minutes each.

Anonymous model. 2.5” x 2” in pencil and watercolor.

Colour ballpoint and felt tip highlight markers, Picturehouse, hackney, London

Pastel on smooth newsprint, about 15 minutes.

Don't know if it's interesting for others to see everything every week. I'll continue until told otherwise 🤣
