Made a little ghostie candle that's slightly bigger than our usual pendants (about 2in tall)
I think we could probably go up to 3 inches max—definitely gonna give that a try when I get a chance!

Ive been lampworking for over 13 years, ive always wanted to take the physics behind glass and put it into an education, fun, experimental way to showcase it.
Well I have finally done this. This game is in Alpha, and is playable right now on Mobile and Desktop.
Try it out today and see how fun it is!

Hey hivemind. I work borosilicate and, Im planning on trying to order a case of 15mm rods and 26-40mm (depends what the company has)scalloped profile tubing. Im in AZ where would the least expensive shipping come from?
Also, how much do you save by joing lampworksupply.com color club ? Would it also save me on this clear i want?
Finally has anyone ordered ABRs blow more glass mystery box ? What did you get ?

Some recent skull mibs (marble in boro)
and pendants I made.
I learned to make them from Bob Snodgrass and Cameron Tower.
They are made with clear borosilicate glass and pure silver fume.
For ever grateful.
Thanks for looking.

My first fillacello pendant (and one of my very first fillas ever), with a jester! Tbh, I still need to work on terminating the fillas which is why I added the jester. But I’m still super proud of myself! Thanks to Adam Reetz for all the help, so generous to share so much knowledge! And thank YOU for looking!

The marble acts like a magnifying glass—it scales up the little ghost as you spin it!🔎

I made some turtles repurposing old implosion pendants into their shells. I also made some Halloween themed turtles too! Very happy with them.

Hey everyone!
I started lampwork in july and due to life, the studip I was at is closing but I'm able to turn my garage into a studio and share with my instructor for the winter, and work towards buying my own kiln and torch.
The studio had tons of clear boro rods (Ive only done boro so far and thats fine with me), but now I'll need to start buying my own. My instructor used to get hers from mountain glass but they closed with Helene.
Anyone know who is good to get clear boro from, at a decent or 'cheap' price in the US? Ive so far been buying colors from asheville glass and will be visiting there soon, but wasn't sure if there are any other places with less prohibitive cost or shipping.
Thanks!

I'm getting into lampworking and I was wondering where can I get the best glass to learn on? I'm considering the quality of the glass, the cost per rod/pound, and availability. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've been obsessing about this color listed in https://www.nortelglass.com/product/rb-arctic-fireweed-116/
Word out there is that this is a rebranding of lunar glass. Im not so sure about that, but who knows... However, evidence (or lack of it) points to RB being a chinese manufacturer.
This is advertised as a clear color, not opal based like Lunar Amethist Red Opal.
So far there are two canadian resellers but the shipping costs make no sense.

It just launched yesterday I think, and it's free to play on your browser.

It's got some jank but some of it is relatively realistic too.
