I understand I can research this myself (don't slate me haha) and I have tried but i'd seriously appreciate if people would be willing to answer and provide links to products. Want to make sure im not half arsing this and would appreciate advice from those of you who are experienced. I've bought supplements and believe im good on that side.
What do you use to accurately measure if you are in ketosis? (I know I won't be in ketosis after 3 days)
What is your go to milk substitute?
What is your go to cheese? Love cheddar but what make/brand do you recommend?
What butter are you using?
Any other helpful advice would be amazing!
Apologies for not replying for a few days or on individual posts but wanted to say big thank you to everyone who replied. I dont know anyone who's every tried keto so it was really nice to find this community and get constructive feedback. Think I would have become too obsessed with exact science of measuring had it not been for you. On day 6 now and going strong. Haven't really experienced any 'keto flu' yet which is a bonus. Have felt big increase in energy already! Also doing this alongside intermittent fasting and eating between 12-6. Havent struggled at all. Feels amazing taking control of diet. Been an extreme change but was needed. Think one of the key take aways from your comments and experience so far is to make this way of eating as normal as possible. That probably sounds contradictory as i've just said i'm only eating within 6 hour window but I mean in regards to the actual food. Going to try have as many normal meals as possible, so will be discovering a lot of new recipes. WIN/WIN. I made a spicy cottage pie last night. Who knew cauliflower mash would be so good😁any tasty recipes you've discovered would be appreciated 💪
