Help Is this big enough?
Hello! I recently bought this enclosure for my 6 isopods, but then I started to get worried that it’s too small for them- can I please get a second opinion?!

They've already started reproducing. How should I go about keeping the population in check?

So... I got a mite infestation in my Isopod enclosure. I don't even know how this happened, I had mesh all over it. Now, how do I get rid of them? They piss me off so much. Species is Dairy Cows, if that info is needed.

My isopods are always demanding, "more leaf litter!"
It's leaf litter season, so I made it rain. Collected an entire bag in like 5 minutes. Perfect time of year to treat your 'pods to free eats.
Also, isopod habitat enrichment is a gourd use of seasonal squash shells.

I live in Oklahoma and it's beginning to get colder here so my room is now around 65ish, I want to get a heat mat to put on the side of their enclosure in case it gets too cold and wanna know if this zoomed one is alright? Also do I put it on the end of the dry side or should I put it on one of the sides that has both wet/dry side? I currently have their enclosure at around 71 by wrapping it (the ventilation holes aren't covered) in my blankets until I can get a heat mat

I'm switching my pandas from a big terrarium to a tiny terrarium; so far I've only found one.
I put a piece of zucchini in the terrarium hoping the rest of them would show up to eat it.

Hi everyone, I'm leaving for two weeks, and I have my dairy cows in a hermit crab paludarium. I'm worried about them crashing my shrimp tank while I'm gone. I pull 2-3 of them out of the tank every day, and I have no idea how they're getting in because the substrate is at least an inch lower on all sides. Today I saw five of them eating algae off the ramp at the water line. How can I stop my dairy cows from falling into the tank while I'm away, while still allowing my hermit crab to access it? I can't ask the pet sitter to pick dead bugs out of the tank with tongs lmao.
(Unless you tell me that they can climb up my structural chopsticks...)

I was just walking home when I saw on the wall a few colonies of these isopods, maybe they are brick worklouse but i think about 100-200 of them. What are these and can they live with my other isopods(black and white, first photo, maybe panda)

Sorry for the shaky cam, it's pretty hard to do macro without a tripod and it was an unscheduled recording so I didn't have time for a proper setup

I set up my geckos old baby tank for just some leftover plants and now isopods (springtails too of course).
Thoughts? Its a 12×12×idk i think 16in tank. In the pictures there is a lot of moisture because I had just planted everything but I added powder isopods in yesterday and am keeping the right side with plants moist and the left dryer.
I have limestone rocks coming in but for now there is some bits of cuttlebone in there for them. I havent seen anyone want to eat the strawberry though. I may give them a little carrot slice instead to see if that draws them in.

I have no pics if course because they are teeny tiny and I dont want to open the bin to mess with them but I FINALLY have babies in my first dairy cow enclosure. This was my first time actually keeping isopods versus putting them in my geckos tank. I am a proud grandma lol. These babies have stressed me out from day one but things are finally looking up!
Edit: I was able to get one terrible photo of the one I can see. See in comments

I was expecting them to be flatter tbh. But don't tell them that.
Also can we please create an FFF flair !?

Found these guys around my campsite in the Cherokee National Forest last night. They were bright enough to light up the leaves they were crawling under like lamp shades. Is this just firefly larva or something different?
