Hey everyone! I’m 22M and recently moved from Michigan to Twentynine Palms, California! I’ve only been here for about two weeks, and I’m still trying to meet people and make some friends in the area.

A little about me: I’m pretty outgoing, love karaoke, gaming, volleyball, going to the gym, exploring new places, and grabbing drinks or just hanging out. I’m also really into music and theatre!

Moving across the country has definitely been an adjustment, especially not knowing many people out here. I’d love to meet some people around my age (or honestly any age) in Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, or anywhere nearby!

Someone’s dog got out in AV. A scared little cutie who is clearly not sure which way home is. When she (I assumed from the pink collar) came into my yard I tried to approach her to get the info from her tag, but she was very skittish and ran away. I also noticed the tag was either old or some kind of technology. It had no info I could see from about 4 feet away, but was plastic and looked much thicker than a regular ol’ metal tag. She was shaking and I hope she gets home! I have no clue what to do as I also want to stay safe and don’t want to frighten her anymore. Anyone missing a pup? If I see her again, I will get a picture. She is a tiny dog, I can’t tell if she’s hungry or just slim, but her entire head is brown, body white with brown spots, and she’s terrified and it will be cold tonight. I hope her owner or someone who knows her sees this. Thanks!

long shot. a few years ago we moved and my husband gave away our Halloween box that had a few homemade costumes I really miss. they were a special part of my kids childhood, and just though maybe someone might have them. one was a purple dress and mask for Shock from NMBC. one was the skirt and armor for Astrid from How to Tame Your Dragon, and one was the pink dress for Eleven from Stranger things. these were hand sewn girls sizes around a 7/8 and clay foam accessories. Im mostly interested in finding the dresses. everything was in a large purple Rubbermaid container.

Looking to just smoke tabaco for now while I go through this so im looking for places that dont charge too much for cigarettes or other products. I’ve been going to liquor stores but if there’s any where I can save even a buck or 2 please let me know!

Im looking for places to shoot near Victorville area. I do lead clean ups of shooting spots and prefer a high traffic area. Hodge road is too busy with people shootong to go out and dig lead out. Im new to this area, trying to get some lead and help out the environment a bit. Any advice helps. I do a little trash clean up as well, spots with high traffic the better. A spot with a bunch of trash or brass on the ground is a good sign. Thanks.

Hello there!

Next month, a friend and I are planning on driving in tandem over to Las Vegas from the Bay Area after work in a single sitting (which is in no way whatsoever going to be sketchy, but I do like road trips in the desert, so I'll do it regardless), and I was planning for an eventual possibility of having to stop at some motel to sleep, in case we get too tired. However, as I'd rather save the money, and because it would probably be a great meme-filled experience, I am considering bringing my tent, drinks, and other camping gear, so we could set up camp in the desert some time around 10-11pm, before departing the next day to finish the rest of the drive. And this leads me to the question...

Are there any easily accessible spots off of CA-58 or I-15 which lend themselves to adequate overnight camping? I've been to Zzyzx, and over there seems like it'd be really cool and vibey to set up a tent, but I'd want to know of other opportunities. As much as I'd love to spend 9 hours behind the wheel after an 8 hour workday, I am starting to get up there in the years, so I might (ahem, definitely) be biting off a bit more than I can chew, so.. thanks in advance!
