I write to you standing next to a bog with my weed pen and a thermos of tea. The thermos is made of metal, recycled who knows how many times, but at some point that metal was mined out of the ground somewhere, after sitting there for thousands of years. The tea is made of spices that were grown on a different continent. A gross display of luxury in the past, now enjoyed by a stoned commoner in the local bog. All by sheer chance of circumstance. Strange to think of all the parts that moved at the right time to collide with my consciousness.
