Today, September 4th 2026, a fellow Helldiver lost his personal war against cancer. My brother and battle buddy was a true helldiver even to his last breath. He introduced me to the game and my love of bot diving. A few weeks ago, when we found out he was terminal, he asked me to pass along a message to all his fellow Helldivers and squad mates after his death:

"I'm no longer in the fight, fellow divers. I lost my war. Don't cry and weep, just go blow up some bots for me. The afterlife will be boring and I want entertainment. The I only regret I have is never getting that Hulks head as a hood ornament.

As a final order to my squad and a request to all divers, Fight on. For Democracy for Liberty, and for Super Earth."

Who's ready to help me kick some automaton butt and give him a proper send off?

 Someone made a comment thats been removed by mods. I know it seems unlikely that someones last thoughts were of a video game and you are right. He made a message for a few groups he was in. His dnd group, his AA group, and his online communities.

The ones I posted to Fallout 76 and Destiny 2 subreddits got taken down. Hubcap (His nickname) hated leaving loose ends and unfinished business. He didn't want anybody thinking he just up and vanished. It's one of the things that I loved and hated he did.

I randomly got curious about what other people name their Super Destroyer.

Mine is called SES Knight of Iron, can't say specifically why I named it that but it's been the name I've kept since I started playing so it's gained sentimental value and I could never change it.

Do you have a specific reason for your ship's name?

I’ve found the trident is very good at hitting their head after you knock off the helmet. I guess the bolt pistol is fine at taking off their helmets but not much better than the revolver honestly. I started bringing melta mines which are actually pretty good.

What stratagems are you bringing to survive being swarmed by them?

I’ve tried the autocannon it wasn’t as good as I hoped. They make it their mission to destroy sentries so might as well not even bring them. 500kg eagle is okay I guess.

Came across this guy the other day

Every game I’ve been in with the rank in my loadout, I’ve only had one or two games where people get in it with me. Every time I call it down and communicate I have a tank, no one gets in it. Not even the gunner seat. I get people want to run around and get things done quick. I do it too. But come on, it’s a TANK. Arrowhead should make more team work focused objectives and equipment cuz now everyone just wants the one man army trope. (Not hating people who do, but for a “team focused” game, it kinda ruins it)

Some people are saying this is awesome and gives them multiple things some players have wanted

Some are saying this is a direct fuck you from arrowhead them selves and that they hate us

How do you feel

They actually add a flamethrower with backpack. This gonna be so much fun on bug planets

I'm a big fan of the Redacted Regiment Warbond, playing stealth is my favorite way to play the game, it feels amazing, but recently I saw a post about someone saying he hates when players join their game and then proceed to play solo instead of helping the team. I understand his point of view but the thing is that to play properly stealth you have to either go solo or join people that have also the same sneaky armor.

Here's my questions for you Helldivers: How do you feel about Stealthdivers joining your game and then playing solo? Are you annoyed that they do missions on their own far from the team? Is it fine when you have a team of atleast 3 to 4 people?

I'm really curious to see what you guys have to say about that.

Edit 2: I've been reading the comments for the last 2 hours hahah. I'm really happy to see that more than 80% of people here either dont really care or like to have a stealthdiver on their team, feels good!

They have medics, and other dedicated rolls.
They can stim each other.
We can stim them
We can emote them

They will destroy outposts now and they will heal each other.

I really could not be happier about this part of the update. Genuinely thank you AH for buffing these guys. They have so much potential and it feels like they are finally getting the love they deserve.

i ABSOLUTLY LOVE the odst war bond, i love halo and helldivers and its my favorite WB. when ever I'm playing HD2 i always come back to it,

and when it first released everyone was saying "arrowhead knows how to treat the odsts better then 343"

but with the new cross over WB being teased all these pseudo intellectuals want to come out of the wood work and say "erm actually the halo war bond sucked, none of the weapons are good erm I'm smart". it is obvious that the ones who say this have never used those weapons because they are usually met with replays akin to "um actually really liked the [insert halo weapon here]"

the cross over war bonds are good for those with playstyles that mesh with how to equipment works and who enjoy the cross over in the first place

you guys all switched up on a WB that gave us a good AR, shotty, and pistol and i am ashamed of your lack of integrity

but there are many glazedivers who are the best at everything and use it all the time. yes?

I keep seeing people in YouTube and Reddit complaining about the grind, but I just see it as laziness.

If you struggle with supercredits you’re one of two people.

1. You aren’t an active player.

2. You don’t loot POIs.

I’m a d10 only diver, and for the most part I always have time to loot a few of the POIs, esspeiclaly if we have a decent team that can split up and get multiple things done, or a fast moving team that can move to the next area quickly. But even just diving with randoms I manage fine with super credits. If you just make sure you open all the vaults, crates, and crashed pods you find you’ll get some SC. I find that I usually get around 20 SC each match. But this isn’t me grinding, it’s just me enjoying the game at D10. If I play 2 operations (6 missions) for the day, then I’ll come out to have 120 SC by the time I get off. When you realize that you have what? 6 weeks till next warbond? That’s 42 days, a month and a half. If I’m getting around 100 SC a day, it should be taking me around 10 days to come up with the SC for next warbond non grinding. I don’t think that’s bad at all. It’s not 10 days of manual grinding at d1. It’s 10 days of d10 just playing normally.

If you hardly play the game or want to cheap out on each mission because you’re too lazy to loot POIs then I think you have no right to complain. You have the option to be completely f2p but if you don’t want to play the game then you can always buy the warbonds. If you don’t want to do that then it looks like you’re stuck like chuck because I have no sympathy for you at that point.

And don’t tell me “well I loot POIs and get nothing” because I know damn well you aren’t looting. I already made back what I spent on the warhammer update lol. So if you’re an active player and you loot POIs then you should be in a similar position as me.

Helldivers are not enhanced soldiers, they are humans like you and me, but still. Why are helldivers taller than the SEAF troopers since they too, are normal humans?

Maybe I’m wrong, but I couldn’t have done anything to avoid my death. I check my surroundings.. couldn’t dodge, it was instant death?
