Merch Wednesday Green Day at The Oz in Seattle – The Show Less Than Four Miles Away From Kurt Cobain’s Death
I acquired this poster at the Ohana Festival in 2025 where Green Day headlined. It’s an original numbered print by the artist Frank Kozik for Green Day’s show at The Oz in Seattle on April 5, 1994, the same day Kurt Cobain would take his own life at his home less than four miles away. This show was earlier in the Dookie tour with supporting act Tilt.
You can see the full show on YouTube: [https://youtu.be/IfCXjilFI40?is=HR4j9K5uTtxHK5Il\](https://youtu.be/IfCXjilFI40?is=HR4j9K5uTtxHK5Il)
Here was the setlist from the show:
1) Welcome To Paradise
2) One of My Lies
3) Chump
4) Longview
5) Burnout
6) Only if You
7) Christie Road
8) 2000 Light Years Away
9) Knowledge
10) Going to Pasalacqua
11) F.O.D.
12) Paper Lanterns
13) All By Myself
14) Dominated Love Slave
15) Road to Acceptance

Merch Wednesday Two signed holy grails in one week
Was extremely excited for the Frankie And The Studs 7"! Was eyeing it for quite a while and finally pulled the trigger and got the signed version and she even sent two picks with my order.
The Prima Donna CD is a holy grail by accident. Found the 21stCB 3x10" Set while browsing Medimops/Momox for a good price. Then I added Prima Donna for funsies because it was just 2,49€ and also wanted to buy it for a few months now. You should have seen my face when I unpacked it today and it came SIGNED! Discogs said there were signed copies sold when they were the support act for Green Day but can anyone verify if they're actually real? (Second pic for closeup)
I know these aren't directly tied to Green Day but I wanna spread some love for side projects and small artists :D!

Discussion If you have met any of the 3 guys in real life, how did they treated you? (FIRST POST)
I know I’m probably not the first one to ask this question, but still I want to, I personally wouldn’t know cause I haven’t (and I don’t know if I ever will), but to the people that had (one way or another) these recent years, how was it for you specifically?

Discussion Which bands changed their direction/image as a reaction to American Idiot?
My Chemical Romance is definitely the most famous and successful example with the Three Cheers era image and the Welcome To The Black Parade concept album.
Alkaline Trio with their image and even getting more ambitious and serious musically with the Crimson album, the success of that album definitely benefited from American Idiot paving the way
Sum 41 with Underclass Hero too, having a strong title track lead single and some political tracks like March Of The Dogs
The Offspring came in a bit late in 2008 but I'd argue Rise & Fall, Rage & Grace was influenced by the darker tone, big ballads of American Idiot
Any other examples?

Discussion Is Arséne Wenger the Rob Cavallo of football?
Football fans will get my question. You have your Rick Rubins, Phil Spectors, and hell, even Travis Barkers; Jose Mourinhos, Pep Guardiolas, and Ancelottis. All have these sort of big personalities and signature sounds and tactics.
And then you have the Rob Cavallos and Wengers of the world who believe in letting their teams express themselves, offering advice only where necessary, but ultimately believing in the ability of musicians to work a problem out together, internally, and create art

Fan Cover 1,000 Hours EP ish tone
So I found a 1,000 Hours EP ish tone on my Kustom KGA10. I know that they used a Fender Sidekick but this is as close as you are gonna get for cheap. This is a good cheap Green Day tone. You must have a humbucker in the bridge position. Good luck!

Discussion Which of these should I use for my senior quote?
Im a senior in high school and basically my entire time in high school has been bad. I didnt have a friend until half way through junior year, and had an abusive teacher that set me back. All of this while battling depression. So the qoutes I picked are ones that I feel like represent my tume in high school. Can you tell I love JAR?

Fan Cover We covered Roshambo by The Network!
In my opinion, The Network is Green Day's best side project, and Roshambo is one of their best songs! :)
We had a lot of fun recording this one. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Discussion Is it a joke that the PHGP "At Yoir Funeral" vinyl says 33 RPM but is actually 45 RPM?
Also I flipped over my handle bars in Philly on the way home from the show when the bag my vinyls were in for caught between my bike rim and the brake. 3/5 of the 45's are still playable! Other two have the second songs still playable! Just wanted to share the success as I'm testing them all now and thought they were total loss.

Discussion Having a blast live in 2000?
Having a blast is by far my favourite green day song, and is so underrated. I’m so annoyed that they didnt play it live during their peak years, at least thats what i thought until today!
Apparently green day performed having a blast on november 28th 2000, at a show in Madrid, Spain. However, ive been unable to find any recordings of it.
It would mean the absolute world to me if anyone could help me find it, or if anyone who was there might happen to have recorded it.
Thank you so much, id absolutely love to be able to hear it live during their prime
