Approved I-130, Pending I-485, and Delayed Asylum Case
Hello everyone, I had my marriage-based USCIS interview in June 2026. My I-130 has been approved, but my I-485 is still pending. I also have a pending asylum case (I-589) in immigration court that I want to withdraw, but no immigration judge has been assigned for nearly a year.
What are my options to move things forward? Can I ask DHS/OPLA for a joint motion to terminate removal proceedings so USCIS can adjudicate my I-485? Is there a way to expedite the process, and what should I do before withdrawing my asylum application?
Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Green Card Ankara Interview
Hi everyone! My EB-1A petition has been approved, and I’m currently waiting for an immigrant visa interview appointment in Ankara.
If you’ve recently completed your Green Card interview at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experience. How long did you wait for an appointment, and what was the interview process like?
Thanks in advance!

Never got rfe after officer told me there would be one in the I-485 interview for seven months. What do I do now?
We had our interview in March, and it went very smoothly. I-130 got approved the very next day. The officer told us that some vaccinations were missing and that they would send us an RFE, but we have never received one for seven months.
The image is from the information I obtained through a FOIA request for my I-485 case. It shows that, as of June 30, my case was still held up because of the vaccination issue.
Contacting Emma is unlikely to provide any meaningful information. What should we do at this point?

Help Our Family With Immigration Legal Fees ❤
Hi everyone ❤️
I’m a wife and mother of two young children, and I’m reaching out for support as our family prepares for an important immigration process.
My husband is originally from Venezuela, and we’re working toward obtaining his marriage-based green card.
We’re raising money for immigration attorney fees, government filing fees, and other necessary legal expenses. We’re also doing everything we can to save toward these expenses ourselves.
Our overall fundraising goal is $12,000.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated. Even sharing our fundraiser would help us reach more people.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. ❤️

Interesting hypo
Situation: let’s say, a female LPR departed the U.S. 7 years ago. Now she is pregnant and willing to give birth to a child on U.S. soil. Let’s say she’s 2 months away from giving birth. She boards the plane to the U.S. showing her GC. What will happen at the border legally speaking? She’s technically and legally still LPR, but obviously there are claims and presumptions of abandonment. However, that’s something that an IJ should decide, not the CBP officer at the border. Will she be paroled and be essentially successful in giving birth?

Just got my green card. Is it safe to travel outside the U.S. right now?
Last month I got my green card and I'm planning a short weekend trip to Cancun, Mexico, for a few nights just to relax and have some fun.
With everything going on lately, I'm wondering if it's safe to travel internationally right now.
Has anyone traveled outside the U.S. recently with a newly issued green card? Any issues coming back through immigration?

Am I safe to travel??
I have criminal charges from 2003 and 2009. Both were disclosed during my greencard application. I wanted to be safe and also apply for I601 waiver for my charges. Both my greencard and waiver were approved last year. Am I safe to travel internationally?

Son of a derivative
I need help please. My father added I and my siblings to his case when he applied for asylum, I was under 21. His case was approved, he petitioned for us. Long story short, we came in last year and I’m trying to fill out our I-485. I’m over 25 now. What do I check for the question 5

How long does it usually take?
Hi everyone! We had our marriage-based green card interview on last October 13, but there’s still no update on our case. I’m married to a U.S. citizen and overstayed my visa by less than a month.
How long did you wait for your approval after the interview? Thank you!

I-130 pending 6 years, now current in F1. Anything that works?
Dad filed my I-130 in October 2020 as F2B. He naturalized this year and USCIS updated his citizenship status in September, so it should be F1 now. I'm an unmarried adult son living outside the US.
It has never been adjudicated. Status unchanged since January 2021. No RFE, no notice, nothing.
The November 2026 bulletin made me current on both charts, but the visa number is useless since nothing reaches NVC until USCIS approves. The online inquiry tool won't accept a case inquiry, says still within normal processing times.
- Anyone with a 2020 F2B or F1 petition still unadjudicated? Did yours move once your category went current?
- Did a congressional inquiry do anything, or just get you a canned reply?
- If you went current with the I-130 still pending, how long from approval to visa in hand?
Trying to figure out if this is normal backlog or a lost file and what I should do next.
