Hearing from other residents that their bills aren't the normal price as they typically are each month. I think my family's bill was 600 when it has never been that high before. What house hold items could be causing this. Maybe once a week I myself stay up late staying up til 2AM. Family insists that leaving the TV on from 10PM to 2AM is causing the bill to be this high. When I thought the TV doesn't cause that much electricity. I thought it was bigger appliances like the washer, dryer, AC, not leaving a TV on or even me being on the PC all day would cause it. But am I wrong?

My husband and I will be visiting LA for the first time in a couple weeks and I’m looking for some Armenian businesses to visit. I’m from an Armenian family myself, but from a small Midwest town with no Armenian population, stores, culture etc, so I’m really excited to spend one of our days in Glendale.

We plan on immersing ourselves in as much as possible. I’d love some suggestions for restaurants, stores (especially hand-crafted or unique items), museums/monuments, and maybe even a tattoo shop.

I’ve done some research, but since we won’t have a car on the trip, and being unfamiliar with the area, it’s difficult to plan out.

We might go to the neon museum (if it’s worth the trip), so bonus points for businesses walking distance-ish from this.

My wife and I want to learn to swim, but generic adult classes haven't worked for us before.

We are looking for a structured program with clear milestones, skill assessments, and measurable progress (for example, going from water confidence and floating to swimming independently over a few months).

Any recommendations for programs or private instructors who follow a structured curriculum rather than generic lessons? We are based in Los Angeles.

Would love to hear from adults who successfully learned to swim this way!

Hello everyone! I’m new to the area and I’d like recommendations on what gyms to join and try. The only amenity I know I really really want is a sauna. Also want classes offered (preferably Pilates and/or kickboxing but it’s fine if they don’t have them, I can use class pass or something). I was thinking about EOS in the galleria but I’ve heard mixed reviews. Any insight on that? TIA!
