Just, wow. Just got back from watching the show and the entire cast was electrifying, but Kevin was so fricking impressive. He displayed some powerhouse vocals in the show and great acting too. He was drawing some real big cheers from the crowd. The entire audience was buzzing when the show ended.

10/10. If you’re in New York and have the chance to catch Rocky Horror, please do so. Especially as a Glee fan.

Community theater. Same vibes, not unthinkable that people in their 30s and up would be participating. They say it’s a hobby but they take it (and themselves) way too seriously. I guarantee you the majority of their fan base is or was involved in community theater recently.

Whether or not I would try to work the school in, I’m not sure.

When I was 12 I had an obsession with Chris Colfer and after all these years I realized he was the closest to a feminine figure I allowed myself to be attracted to, not realizing I was literally lesbian. Circa 2016-2017

Lea Michele AKA Rachel: She’s confirmed to be in the reboot which makes sense. You can’t have Glee without Rachel.

Heather Morris AKA Brittany: She made a post saying Brittany’s back, so it seems like she is coming back.

Jenna Ushkowitz AKA Tina: It seems like she’s coming back, she also made a post.

Kevin McHale AKA Artie: He made a post, he’s presumably coming back.

Chord Overstreet AKA Sam: He said “Reunited and it feels so good!” So it seems like he’ll be back.

Chris Colfer AKA Kurt: He doesn’t seem to be too interested in being in the reboot, but I could see him possibly coming back for a small cameo or special guest appearance or something like that.

Darren Criss AKA Blaine: I feel like he would possibly be interested in coming back, but if Chris Colfer doesn’t come back, I don’t know if I wanna see Darren return because I don’t think it would feel right to have Blaine without Kurt.

Amber Riley AKA Mercedes: I think she would probably come back for the reboot, I think she would wanna return.

Dianna Agron AKA Quinn: I’m not sure if she would come back. I would love to see Quinn again, but I don’t know if she’s really interested.

Harry Shum Jr. AKA Mike: I think he’s interested. He was asked about the reboot in an interview recently, and he said he would like to come back.

Melissa Benoist AKA Marley: I don’t think she’s coming back. She went through some stuff while she was on the show, and I don’t think she would want to return.

Blake Jenner AKA Ryder: No. Absolutely not. He’s a bad guy, and we do not need to see him again.

Jacob Artist AKA Jake: I have no idea if he would be interested in coming back. Maybe, but I’m not sure.

Becca Tobin AKA Kitty: She has actually talked about the reboot. She said she’s worried that she’s not gonna be asked back since she wasn’t part of the original glee club. So she clearly is interested in coming back.

Alex Newell AKA Unique: I don’t know if they would be interested in coming back.

Jane Lynch AKA Sue: She reposted something about the reboot on her Instagram story, so we know she’s interested in returning.

Matthew Morrison AKA Will: It was actually reported that he’s not in talks to return, but he said he’s hopeful that he’ll be a part of it. So it seems like they might not want to bring him back for some reason.

Jayma Mays AKA Emma: I could see her coming back, especially if Will comes back.

Lauren Potter AKA Becky: I feel like she might come back. If Sue comes back, I think Becky would have to come back. But I’m not sure, we’ll see.

Josh Sussman AKA Jacob: I would love to see Jacob again, he was really funny. Josh is interested in returning, he made a video on Instagram saying he hopes to get asked back for the reboot.

Lastly, all of the kids from season 6. I’m not gonna list them individually because I feel the same about all of them. I don’t think any of them are gonna return because I don’t think anyone really cares about them enough to want to see them again in the reboot.

I have seen a lot of discourse regarding Santana over the years since Naya’s passing and it almost seems to me like people have a renewed love for Santana as a character because Naya passed away. Don’t get me wrong, I love Santana and Brittany’s love story, I think it was so important for it to be showcased, and I think Naya (Santana) has a mesmerizing voice! But I have noticed that it seems people have washed away all the horrible parts of Santana’s character???

I know Rachel is annoying, and Finn could get on people’s nerves, but watching it back (I am in the middle of a rewatch right now), Santana was absolutely AWFUL to both Rachel and Finn. The episode where Finn outs Santana (which is horrible), Santana spends the ENTIRE episode bullying Finn about his weight which is objectively just an awful thing to do, not to mention how cruel she is to all the characters through the rest of the series. Two things can coexist, Finn should never have outed Santana, and Santana should never have been that cruel, and this is just one example I’m thinking of because I’m at that episode, but I think it is WILD to see people seemingly forget how awful Santana was as a character to other people, simply because we all love Naya😭

Anyways I will always love glee and I tear up anytime I think about her and Cory’s passing, but just something I noticed. And maybe I’m mistaken and there was always this genuine love and adoration for Santana, but I’ve only noticed it in recent years after Naya’s passing.

I badly want Mercedes, Rachel, and Tina to sing Golden from K-Pop Demon Hunters!

What if instead of a Glee Club the Gleeboot was about the original cast? Perhaps they are trying to make a Broadway Musical or a TV Series about their high school years and it could be very meta about how crazy and inappropriate everything was, with acid humour, like The Other Two.

My biggest reason for not wanting a revival, at least following the main cast, is Naya being gone.

There’s that part of me that likes to think Santana would live on in spite of whether or not Naya was here. If she’s alive, then they have to come up with reasons for her not to be on screen.

If they decide to have Santana pass, then that small part I held onto is gone.

I imagine the cast will be heavily involved in how they handle it and will likely do what they see fit. But either way it’s the toughest pill to swallow. Especially since it seems like Heather will be involved, so Santana’s absence has to be explained.

Naya is one of those celebrity deaths I think about every so often, and I didn’t think I’d have to mourn Santana too.

They loved Naya so I know it’ll be done respectfully as possible, and I hope it’ll be handled it a way that tributes both Naya and Santana. She’s more than just Glee and that’ll be key in how they move forward with it.

I was so fascinated by Ian Brennan’s conversation with Kevin and Jenna on their podcast and how the later seasons shifted in tone. Everything started becoming too fantastical with every character landing lead broadway gigs one year outta high school, living in fancy New York brownstones while recording a big-budget album etc. I’d watch a show where Marley Rose is living a modest life working at her local bookstore and has a renewed passion for music and starts directing the kids at the local community theatre

Edit: I have watched the show several times, this is like my 50th rewatch.

I have to rant because I just got to the part again where Rachel skipped a broadway show, lied about to, to go to LA.

I get so frustrated cause Rachel truly never has any consequences for her actions. And I get it. 1. It’s a tv show and 2. She’s the main character but god it’s so frustrating. Rachel messed up at her NYADA audition multiple times, yet gets in. She lied about skipping the show for LA, somehow does not get fired AND offered a tv show. Leaves NYADA for broadway, leaves broadway for tv, gets invited back to BOTH. And what also frustrates me is, with the NYADA situation she was like “oh I’ll never regret leaving, it’s holding me back,” then later on was like “I need to get back into NYADA I messed up,” then AGAIN was like “oh broadway wants me? I don’t need NYADA!” Or with Funny Girl, she was like “wow I didn’t like LA, this is where I need to be,” then when offered another show opportunity she goes, “oh actually…”

Like she is rewarded again and again for her behavior. She’s a dick all throughout high school, gets prom queen. She cheats on Finn twice, he always chases to have her back. It’s just so frustrating like damn dude. And she definitely has character growth, but sometimes it feels so minimal.

I’m sorry I just had to rant.

I didn’t see them being down for something like that. Do we think Amber, and Chris will come on it? Those are the only two I’m unsure of. Also I hope they bring Jane Lynch & Lauren Potter (Becky) back!!! ❤️
