I've been eyeing the Les Paul Modern Figured for a few months now and I finally pulled the trigger. This thing is so gorgeous and sounds amazing! I perused different sites until I found this one on zzounds.com with the perfect top, and it surpassed my expectations from the photos!

I'd been looking for a 335 and saw this one on Reverb. 2012 Memphis built custom 335 dot.

The thing rings like a bell and the horrible pictures don't do the top justice! Neck is super slim, and I'mnormally a chunky neck type of guy but it feels great in the hand.

Just enough play wear and aging as well to feel played in.

Going to enjoy banging out some britpop on this tonight!

Which finish does this ‘05 LP Faded have? My understanding is that these guitars only came in three finishes at the time, but I’m just not sure which one this is. Options are Heritage Cherry, Honey Burst, or Tobacco burst. What do you all think?

So technically this isn't new gear day. I have had this guitar for a couple months but I can't get over the way it feels im my hands. I've had many guitars over the years but there's something special about this one.

So I’ve been working on refinishing an SG and was searching around for a few parts. This 2008 SG Standard popped up right when I was on there looking. Looked immaculate and they were asking $800🤯. Price seemed on the edge of being a little too good, so it had my scam filter up, but it just turned out to be a really nice lady who bought the guitar in Nashville in ‘08 hoping to learn and never did.

The frets were tarnished, strings were rusty, but the body essentially didn’t have a scratch on it. I polished frets, new strings, setup and went through everything and it seems to be all original. The pickguard and backplate had definitley never been off. Sounds good plays great what else could you ask for, for $800 🤷‍♂️

Picked up a 2012 Firebird V on trade last week, then went to Nashville this weekend and found a marketplace steal on a Firebird Zero.

As far as I know, it's Gibson Lesfall Standard 1991 Custom Shop Edition, but no matter how much I search, I can't find the same one as mine.

I buy these basically for grand kids I don’t even have. But they all get used. Broke down and bought an exclusive explorer that kinda went with j45 and LP custom. Love at first sight. Then I notice one of the backs of the tuner off. String buzz was bad. I looked all over in the case thinking it fell off. Nope it wasn’t there. Called Gibson. They acted like is was no big deal and sent me a complete tuner with a pick. I still got to put that in or pay a tech. I just can’t understand how that got missed. But I also so don’t know the process and coming from a shop background. I can see myself doing it. Surprised it was able to leave the building like that. Thoughts? Suggestions? Wild experiences? PLEASE HELP! Last week, I purchased a faded g8bson sg from a guitar shop for $800. Figured that was a reasonable price, given it was battered and scratched. I dont know a ton about gibson, but own a few Epiphone Les Pauls, From the info of a friend, I found out my sg might be fake. Can anyone yell from the photos? I originally assumed the logo was just a factory error, and im overall extremely devastated and going to try and get my money back. My friend pointed out things like the logo, and the serial number imprint on the back of the headstock, also told me to check the truss rod, which I haven't done yet. Did I get scammed?
