Found this little inflorescence when I was strolling along the neighborhood paddy field after a light afternoon monsoon shower. It's a yellow flame tree or copperpod tree flower. Ngl looks like a close relative of gulmohar.

All parts of the plant (leaves, flowers, seeds, and stems) are highly toxic to humans, pets, and livestock if ingested. Handling it with bare hands can also cause skin or eye irritation, so it's best to wear gloves when pruning or handling the plant.

In spring and summer, farmers sometimes have a small plot where they grow varieties of flowers in my area. It’s an honour system where we clip the flowers we want and leave some coins for what we take. My husband brought these home for me 💐

This beautifuls are supposed to be orange, but this year they decided to be red... anyways, I love them!! Here in Argentina the weather is crazy, so maybe that's the reason. It's supposed to be spring but somehow it's like an autum lol.

Does anyone know what these chrysanthemums are called and if they come in any more colours?
