[Ferret Photo] Finally managed to get a picture of Rascal!
You may remember I posted his brother a few days ago. Finally managed to catch Rascal in a rare moment of rest between bouts of chaos so thought I'd post!

[Rainbow Bridge] Missing my Astrid
I am missing Astrid immensely and thought to share some pictures of her and her sister Heather. I miss her sand paper kisses and waking up to her and Heather cuddling in bed with me. I miss her chaos and lively spirit. Despite her being small, the feelings of love and loss hit like a tonne of bricks. I will never stop missing her.

[Discussion] Just realized that my one ferret already has a chipped tooth :/
When they want out of the cage, they go nuts on the cage, even if its been open all day... And within 5 minutes i put them in they go feral😂😅
Is the tooth something i should be cautious about m

[Ferret Photo] Bagged Girls
Our little girls loved my handbag so much I gave it to them when I retired it. Now it’s a silky sleepy spot they can defend from goofy baby brothers, and there’s room for two if you snuggle

[Help] ripped a massive chunk of fur out??
my fiance came downstairs to her quietly crying and laying there in the cage, with a big clump of fur next to her. as you can see from the video, there is no bald spot or blood or scabbing or dry skin or anything. it almost looks like new fur is growing there. i have NEVER seen this happen with any of my previous or current ferrets. what the hell caused this??? does she need to see a vet for this? the other two had no fur in their mouths, she was the only one with any in her mouth. it's a very noticeable thinner spot. i'm so beyond confused and concerned
edit: she also is not losing any when gently pulled, nor any on her tail. i'm familiar with adrenal from a previous ferret, she's not exhibiting the symptoms.

[Help] Ferret's reaction to neck scritches
Hello! So I am the owner of quite a few little ferrets and I've been a ferret parent for years now but I've recently gotten two new ferrets (3M and 2M) from a friend so that's why they are a bit older than pet store ferrets.
I'm used to giving my previous ferrets neck scritches and they've never really had much of a reaction to it so I thought I could just do it with my two newer babies as well but both of them have this reaction every time I scritch their neck.
They basically will push against my hand and try to role onto their backs or lower themselves and rub their tummies on whatever surface they are on. For example, I just did it with the 3 year old one and they pushed against my hand before going onto their tummy and rubbing their tummy and chin on the bed.
I haven't really thought about it much since it's happened but just now I realized that it might be because it hurts him? Does anyone with better knowledge of ferret neck scritches let me know? I don't use a lot of pressure but idk...

[Help] New Ferret Parents!!
Hi everyone! My son has asked us for a ferret for years, but we’ve been hesitant due to having cats. Someone local to us is rehoming their ferret but said she’s great with cats and kids- therefore we feel now is the perfect time! She has been fixed.
What do I need to know? What should I pickup for her ahead of time? Advice on introducing her to the cats and kids? :) thanks!
