Dying Light: The Beast The Game of Liars and Losers
Dying Light: The Beast has huge potential for future DLC, and some players are ready to pay for more content. There’s room for new stories, locations, and gameplay. We’re not asking for endless free content—we want Techland to build on that potential instead of leaving it behind.
The CEO talks about the pressure of delivering high-quality free updates, but paid DLC is a different story—players are willing to pay for good content. As always, it feels like these CEOs are completely out of touch with what players actually want. We want worthwhile paid DLC, meaningful improvements, and a game that's properly supported, not excuses about the challenges of free content.
Meanwhile, the game still suffers from blurry, low-resolution visuals on consoles, with no Balanced Mode or meaningful image-quality improvements. Players have been asking for PSSR on PS5 Pro, but Techland hasn't even implemented it. Now that QSSR is available for base PS5, will Techland consider using it to improve image quality?
CDPR continues to support and improve Cyberpunk 2077. Moving on to new projects shouldn't mean leaving existing problems behind.
I also played STALKER 2. GSC listened to players' complaints about frame drops and kept improving performance until the issue was resolved. Techland, on the other hand, continues to ignore our complaints about blurry visuals.
The community is part of the problem, too. Not noticing an issue doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Dismissing criticism just because you don't experience it yourself only makes it easier for developers to ignore.
🟥And that's how we end up here: players willing to pay for more content, unresolved problems being pushed aside, and criticism dismissed instead of taken seriously. If we keep accepting lower standards and defending every decision, we're all going to lose.
The game has potential. We want great DLC, meaningful improvements, honest communication, and accountability—not excuses.

ElAnalistaDeBits – Dying Light: The Beast console graphics comparison
The ElAnalistaDeBits comparison is worth checking alongside these reports. Low internal rendering resolution in Performance Mode is a major factor behind the blurry image. These recurring reports show that this isn't simply one person's complaint.
Thanks for taking the time to read.

Dying Light Best way to experience dying light after completing the base game on hard?
So I completed the base game on hard mode and am coming back to play the DLC’s sense I picked them up on discount, but I’m not really sure about what to do first, between changing the difficulty to nightmare and/or maybe starting new game plus, and the Harran Prison, Hellraid DLC, and the Following DLC, I’m not really sure what to do first, I’m seeing that the Harran Prison is supposedly challenging so should i save it for last? I also see some people really recommend new game plus on nightmare
Summarized: Would you recommend staying on Hard mode or switching to nightmare? Furthermore, should I new game plus? Also in what order should I do the 3 DLCS I mentioned.

Dying Light 2 Did Dying Light 2 Performance Improve?
After a year I have entered the game because I missed playing it, however I do not remember it running this smoothly, I used to have a big bottleneck in the city area I guess it was not optimized good enough, however now im constantly hovering 180 fps with frame gen, and maxed out raytracing, i used to have around 90 and dips to 60 fps..
Im glad they fixed the performance issues.
Pc specs are:
RTX 4070 SUPER
Ryzen 7 5700x3D
32GB DDR4 3600MT/s
SSD 1TB LEXAR

Issues / Problems Can’t join people in dying light 2, or the beast
So about a week ago, I started having problems joining people’s games, public and my friends, whenever I get and invite or quick join in either game, it just gives me the message connection could not be established. Which is weird because I’ve never had problems this extensive with playing online in both games, I’ve contacted techland support and told me to delete and redownload the games on my internal storage (I’m on Xbox and use a storage expansion for most games) so I did earlier today, still doesn’t work, I’ve reset my router, messed with my dns settings and nothing seems to work, thing is I can play dl1 online perfectly fine no problems, it’s only the beast and 2 I have problems with, anyone know a fix for this?

Dying Light 2 Opinions in the community regarding Veronika ?
Personally I actually like her character. She's pretty and her character is one of the better written ones in Dying Light 2 . Not to mention that her outfit is classy too.
My liking for the character grew when I discovered she was voiced by the gorgeous Kosha Engler who has also worked on some of my other favorites like Crysis 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 , and others like Horizon Forbidden West .
Unlike all the other characters trying to send Aiden on errands or getting favors out of him , she tried really help him without any pre imposed conditions. According to the cut content it is hugely implied that she is actually Aiden's mother (due to the fact that her son Paul who went "missing" 15 years ago would roughly be the same age as Aiden if alive and they do share some resemblance ) and also originally she was going to have a larger mentor like role in the original script .It's tragic how her fate turned out but for me she's one of the best npcs in Dying Light 2.
But tell me folks what do you think about her?

Dying Light: The Beast From a purely game play perspective, if you dropped Dying Light 1 max level Crane in Dying Light the Beast, zombies in entire Europe are gonna be exterminated like rats
And this is without the legend levels. I know this will get a lot of people mad. Dying Light 1 Crane was much stronger in every possible aspect than Dying Light the Beast Crane, even though by the lore he is supposed to be stronger. More stamina, more strength, more health, more damage, can fight longer without taking a break, the weapons are stronger, basically everything. It was still fun.

Dying Light To the absolute bloody legend playing dying light tonight 🙌🏻
Quick backstory: I only got into gaming recently, in my 30s. Had to pick healthier habits 🙃 My best friend who is a life long gamer bought me a PS5, introduced me to some of the best games, after grieving finishing RE 😂 convinced me to give Dying Light a go.
Took me a while, but I got keen. Finally, our schedules aligned and we could play together tonight, just before the final chapter, we're cruising around, exploring, slashing anything that moves, while I'm complaining about how shit my weapons are compared to hers.
AND THEN THIS LEGEND OF A HUMAN joins our session, starts dropping us EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER WANT 😭 bro joined, casually changes our life and adios 🫡
PICS for reference, storage is full. we could not believe it.
Also I didn't realise my mic was unmuted, so if you're out there, apologies for the swearing and the carry on. 😳 I've never been so stoked
I hope both sides of your pillow are forever cold, every traffic light you hit is green, you never step on Lego barefoot, your sleeves never get wet when washin your hands, May your grappling hook never fail you mid jump, your weapons never break, your medkits never run out, your loot is always legendary like yourself.
May life treat you as generously as you just treated us. I hope the rest of your night, week, year and entire f$#king life is PHENOMENAL. It is that deep.

Dying Light Which game should I start with first?
So, I haven't played any Dying Light games, but I've been wanting to play them recently, I just didn't know which one to start with first. I always hear that Dying Light II is not so good, so I don't know if I'll start with that one. Any suggestions?

Dying Light 2 Dying Light 2
I picked up DL2 on Essentials (for free, my favourite kind of price). I have played through DL1 (& The Gathering) a couple of times because, in my humble opinion, it is the definitive zombie survival game, and I still fondly remember scrambling over rooftops in the dark with just a chair leg for defence....
Anyway, DL2. I have been pleasantly surprised. The combat is fun (but once you get the bow and throwing knives, I feel a bit overpowered), parkour is really good, and I enjoy the timing of it. It did take a bit of getting used to, but I like it. Nighttime adventuring is still a hoot, and the volatiles are...challenging. Love the GRE buildings...but don't like military convoys respawning.
What I don't like is the environment...it's very samey, and I use the map A LOT. In DL1, you got to know the neighbourhoods and use landmarks as waypoints. The other thing is that the story is a bit...dull? I dunno; I just don't really care that much, no idea why. I don't really feel motivated. The characters all feel like NPCs; that doesn't help.
Overall, though, I am really enjoying it.

Dying Light 2 I swear to god techland is trying to kill their games
So I decided to re download dying light 2 just for fun since I haven’t played it in so long. Loading up the game was fine until I went to actually load my save file. Color me surprised when I get an ad for the wolf bundle… in my loading screen… of my 60 dollar game. I know I can’t push the blame if this entirely on techland as part of this can be contributed to tencent and their bullshit but ads in loading screens, really? This is beyond ridiculous locking DLCs to an in game store was already bullshit but putting ad on loading screens is several steps past the line of greed and is now just going into excessive greed.

Dying Light: The Beast tips for getting better at parkour on dyng light the beast?
I consider myself pretty good at the 2 other games, but for some reason i dont know how to do nice parkour on this game.I get stuck with many objects or climb when tryng to wallride, its probably a skill issue but im sure there is something im doing wrong and i dont know yet what is it.DL2 felt incredibly smooth and i even expend arround 100 hours only doing parkour arround the city.DL1 was simple but fast and fun.But with this one im not enjoying the parkour so far simply because i dont manage to make good plays
