It just doesn’t get better than Ernest Goes to Camp. Best $1.29 I’ve ever spent!

Never been so honored to have the name Alex.

My dad passed away a little over a year ago. He has over 3,000 DVDs and Blu-ray’s. Some opened, some not. Others are special editions. I’m selling by the box or the whole collection. I wanna sell it to someone who would appreciate them . Most are mostly horror movies. I have a catalogue of all of them. I’m trying to help my grandma out who paid for his funeral. Any help, I would so very much appreciate it. Thank you.

Won this the other day on the Bay and arrived in the mail today! Can't wait to go down the rabbit hole.

Hit two thrift stores today as part of my birthday plans and absolutely scored!

EDIT: I don’t want it just because it’s rare, I’m a fan of Mr Meaty and this DVD is the only official release of any Mr Meaty media. I also collect a ton of Nickelodeon DVDs (including the more common Nick Pick DVDs) so it wouldn’t be out of place in my collection if I got it.

Was out looking for Blu-ray’s, but ended up with several individual DVDs and all five seasons of Fringe (four still sealed) for $21. Starting to love checking through the thrift stores on a semi-regular schedule.

These are all the DVDs I’ve gotten at my thrift store runs over the past two weeks. Was really amazed to finally find some horror. Goodwill has really been pulling through with the cool DVDs lately.

I also kind of have a thing for Mark Ruffalo so I’ve been looking for some of his movies that I like on dvd and was totally manifesting finding In the Cut and Just like Heaven and there they were. Now I’m just missing Zodiac and My Life Without Me. I’d like to find Poor Things but since it’s newer I’m not totally confident I’ll find it.

The Grudge is sealed but I’ll probably open it.

Regrettably many years ago I got rid of my DVDs 🫣 now I’m restarting my collection. Good start I reckon

Very happy about this little $10 thrift haul with a couple being still sealed!

Found these beauties at my thrift store for $2.99 each. I wouldve bought more if they had any 😍

Spirited away was an Amazon pickup for $10 used. Now it gets to sit alongside my No Face piggy bank (ignore the price tag). Devil's Rejects was a $2 Goodwill Pickup. GoT set was $20 off of Facebook Marketplace. Total came out to around $32

So, I had to add a couple of DVD's for upgrade and replacements the other day, when I spotted my copy of 1993's Body of Evidence movie with Madonna which was the very first 'Grown-up' movie I ever went to.

Now, I have almost (I think) every movie I've ever seen in the Theater, & there are a couple of others I have never told anyone I went to go see. Does anyone have a movie like that too?

Keep hunting for the good ones.

I will rate and list the movies I've seen throughout the marathon as I go and whether I've seen it before or 1st time watch.

1. Monster House (Seen before) 8/10

A hood classic. Still holds up.

1. Mesa of Lost Women (1st watch) 3/10

Absolute boring cheap trash of a movie. Wouldn't recommend watching it.

1. A Nightmare on Elm Street (Seen Before) 8/10

Still solid.

1. Gremlins (1st watch) 7/10

It was ok.

1. Let Sleeping Corpses Lie (Seen before) 9/10

Absolutely a banger zombie movie.

1. Nightmare on Elm Street 2: (1st watch) 6/10

This one felt pretty weak to me compared to the 1st

1. Nightmare on Elm Street 3: (1st watch) 7/10

Better than 2 but not as good as 1.

1. Nightmare on Elm Street 4: (1st watch)

2. Nightmare on Elm Street 5: (1st watch)

3. Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare: (1st watch)

4K Blu-ray Steelbook

I’ve always thought Iron Man 2 is under-appreciated. RDJ is as great as ever while Sam Rockwell comes in with a killer performance as Justin Hammer that still has fans asking for a return. VFX again still look incredible. While not as strong as the first film, it still has lots to love.

both are blind buys!

This is a long shot. My wife loves trash reality TV and she recently mentioned how she hasn't seen season 2 of this show.

Got this for fifty cents at my library's bookstore

This dvd has a crack in the inner hub deep enough where my finger nail can rest in it. The dvd plays just fine, but I'm just wondering if the case somehow cracked it. There's two more cracks on the bottom of the inner hub as well, but smaller.
