✨any and every suggestion is welcome!

✨as of recently, i have ditched most (if not all) streaming services! as someone that wasn't shown many movies growing up, i am finally getting around to watching the hundreds of movies i probably should've seen by now.

✨ive found most of my DVDs at op shops for $1 - $4!

✨ the only movies ive seen from my collection (prior to purchasing the DVD: 1917, Bee Movie, Burlesque, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Dumb and Dumber, Inception, Kath and Kim, Rocketman, The Shape of Water, Shrek

✨ive also included my, forever growing, lists to keep track!

dream dvds: have watched

keep an eye out: have not watched

(btw i picked up 'Jack and Jill', for a $1, for the memes, you can thank Jacksfilms (r/jacksfilms) for that...)

OH ALSO ❗ i am NOT a shane dawson fan nowadays,, i found his book at an op shop for $3 and it was just too funny to pass up on

I saw this stupid movie in the theater when it was released, it sucked, first and last date with a chick 😂

Traditionally, I watch the original Halloween movie every year, but I watched it last night instead.

So what's the suggestions? It's another first date, she's coming to my house, so wish me luck, lol

I prefer the classic cases for Futurama 1-4 since the boxes are higher quality. The discs can get scratched less easily in these. Also got Aqua Teen. I order Volume 6 separately since the standalone version has a banned episode not available in the complete collection

Found this at my local consignment store, and it had the original booklet and both discs!

Going to have to sit down and show this great show to my kids

I paid 24 euros for it, and I saw that on eBay it sells up to 200 euros (in mint condition). It’s numbered 02684/10000 !

This one is in catastrophic shape, but I’ll try to restore it to its former beauty.

I already rebought the dvd inside, which was torn apart sadly, and I plan on repairing the bottom right corner for the dvd holder, as it is broken as well :(

At least the cards and poker chips are all complete and in good condition !

I truly can’t fathom how you buy something this cool and treat it so badly.

If one of you guys have on of it and remember how much you originally paid for it, please tell me !

Found this today at a charity shop. I’m going to open it as I like to watch my DVDs and this is one of my favourite comedies, but it made me smile to see this old tag and remember back in the day (damn, $24.99 seems expensive!). I’m assuming from the release date this would have been from around 2006.

I will rate and list the movies I've seen throughout the marathon as I go and whether I've seen it before or 1st time watch.

1. Monster House (Seen before) 8/10

A hood classic. Still holds up.

It was ok.

They restocked my Walmart's $5 bin bc last week, it was half empty. Found the original Dune (1984), Twister , and Speed Racer.

Matrix Trilogy and Spiderman 3 from whatnot. RoboCop from Arrow and Total Recall from HMV.

Picked up a few at my local physical media store. Nothing insane, just something to fill in my collection. $30 total.

Got a pretty good price on most of these, and quite a few were even sealed! The amoeba price tag is old.

I dont find horror movies very often

Here's my Halloween DVD Collection so far

I mostly collect DVDs for nostalgia. But if anyone has any recommendations for shows or movies based on what I already own, lmk lol.
