Touring Motörhead tribute based in the Western NY area seeks drummer...

We are looking for a hard-hitting, fast-paced drummer. You must be able to travel internationally (have/be able to obtain a passport).

We have a fully equipped rehearsal studio, management and production teams, merchandise, transportation, sponsorship deals, booked shows, and a roadcrew.

We expect a professional attitude and ability to schedule shows.

Please, no hateful political/social views, no drunks, no cocaine, opiates, or methamphetamines.

If this sounds like you or someone that you know, please respond to this post or to niagarariverpictures@gmail.com

Hey everyone,

My band are looking for a drummer.

We are influenced by bands such as The Smiths, Durutti Column, early New Order, The Drums, early The Strokes, PJ Harvey, early Morrissey, The La's, The Fall, Iceage, The Cure and other bands.

The project consists of myself (vocalist), guitarist and a bassist at the moment. We've recorded some rough scratch demos of songs that we can send you. We all have experience writing songs and playing in bands. We are committed to having fun writing songs, recording and playing shows.

We have been rehearsing weekly in Deptford so far.

Get in touch if you're interested. If you can’t direct message me, leave a comment and I will message you. Please have recordings or a video of you playing.

I play for a church and we are getting ready to revamp our entire sound system. Part of that is getting stuff to set up IEMs for everyone. The only thing is that they opted not to by the actual earbuds, to save cost and for sanitation purposes. With that being said, I don’t want to just get a pair of cheap apple earbuds to plug in. I’d like to get something fairly decent (that I can afford).

I’d like to keep it under $300 if possible (since I won’t be making any money off of this and I don’t really play shows outside of church). They do need to be wired and will need to plug into with a 3.5mm jack. I’d like some that have some decent noise cancelling (so I don’t catch echo off the back wall) and they need to be able to stay secure since I fling my arms around and bounce like a monkey on speed.

Any and all recommendations on this front would be much appreciated!

I have an audition this weekend with a stoner/doom project and wondering if i should use their kit or mine? Theirs is an Tama imperial star with 22 kick, 12/13 rack toms and 14/16 floor. Mine is 24 kick, 14 rack and 16/18 floors. Also, I play lefty. Curious what you all think? Pic is my current set up.

yaaay so happy idk if its any good tho?? especially for beginners like me

I've realized I probably need to start using a metronome more consistently but there are so many apps that I'm not sure which one is worth sticking with.

I don't need anything fancy, just something reliable and easy to use during practice. What app do you use and what BPM would you recommend starting at for someone just getting into regular metronome practice?

i have this school performance and i borrowed a kit that badly needs tuning. the bass drum sounds off and has a ringing sound whenever i play it. should the heads be stretched? how do i make the ringing sound stop? what is the ideal tone for toms? i know some basic snare tunings but i dont know the ratios for the reso and batter heads for medium high tuning.

Hey everyone! I make videos recreating my favourite programmed drum beats, and my latest video is. Enjoy! ☺️

Had to learn an OG song by a famous death metal band. When I was playing it, I couldn’t feel anything but Dave Lombardo / Slayer. Do you hear it too?
What are some of your favorite Slayer songs?
