Just finished Running on Air after finishing Foundations. I love really quality writing like these and I love a slow burn. My favorite of all time is Two Sides of the Same Coin. What should I read next?

My preference is strictly bottom Draco, so I'd prefer Draco to be the one pregnant. I also only read fics 30k+ words.

(Also, if it's a during the war/eight year fic it's a bonus but not necessary.)

hi!! i'm looking for some good fem drarry fics where they're BOTH gender-swapped. I'm having trouble finding some and would like some recs that other people have read and enjoyed. Thank you!!

I'd like to read maxi fanfics, but I don't mind short ones! It's a desperate measure... I don't know where to look anymore, I agree even in any language, even in Chinese😭

I just saw people starting shipping harry x fem Draco, and most of them were NOT at all drarry shippers before. Am I the only one who think it’s giving homophobia ?

Hello,

I am wondering, are there any fic(s) that you avoided reading for the longest time because of the summary/tags/premise/tropes etc and THEN you finally read it and it was actually incredible and wish you read it sooner?

I will start with a couple (there are more but these came to mind right now):

Take A Chance On Me bymintaminta - It was in my TBR for years but I never got to it because the summary didn’t seem interesting enough. Boy, was I wrong. It was incredible, left a permanent ache in my chest and I really felt for this Draco.

Two to Shore by Lamplighter - I do not generally read Hogwarts resortings/retellings but somehow I was finally convinced to read this one and it was so worth it. Loved the Draco characterisation, the pacing, the storytelling… it was excellent.

What’s yours?

I think the title says it all, but I'm looking for a smutty one-shot where Harry and Draco hook up in the locker room showers after a Quidditch match or flying session.

I usually prefer top Harry, and I'd love it if Draco was the one to initiate things, but I'm not too picky about either of those.

I already read the mirror of ecisydru and i loved that too

Can somebody help me find fanfictions like this like please.i read this and I am absolutely in love with Draco in this i would love to read something like this again.

(I have been reading and been part of this community for years— As poetic writer I'd love to try a hand in writing a fic leaning more towards a psychological thriller, something I've yet to find in regards to my list of essentials)

(This is a small snippet/excerpt)

(Ps would love to hear yalls opinions on if should continue)

Small whispers of the world, a ruler of earth shall emerge.

A slithering sound could be heard. A boy, with eyes as green as emeralds, stood staring down. In his hands lay a dark diary, stabbed, bleeding ink just like the blood oozing from his own chest. Darkness emerged.

He looked up at the dead carcass. A sudden wave of rage and sorrow filled him—that such a magnificent creature had been slain simply for the owner of that diary to become immortal.

Rage. That was all he remembered.

Then, a sudden glow. The basilisk had awoken.

I’ve just read proposal accepted by giainivrei and have to share!

One of my favourite things in any fic is the intimacy between a fairly realistic Draco and Harry and getting to understand how they fall for each other, how the love itself grows. I read a fic called A Game of One by the same author a couple of months ago and the way they wrote intimacy, both emotional and sexual, really reallly stood out, so much so that i had to find anything else they’ve written.

Then I found Proposal Accepted. It’s 344k words (I know, HUGE) and I finally was ready to invest the time to read it this week and wow, my Drarry heart was smiling and crying and bursting the entire ride. The romance, affection, intimacy is written so so well, I’ve even got pages/chapters of cuteness bookmarked so I can revisit it.

The fic doesn’t seem to be very popular on AO3 which is a shame because for anyone looking for just fluff and romance, and character/relationship development only, this is an incredible fic. So this is me giving the fic a very well deserved shout out - give it a go!!

I read this fic completely forgot the name. Drarry get married and there are levels to the rings, I’ve got no better way to put it but I think it was because of Lucius and there was like a copper wedding band. Also Harry has this weird monster on his back and it always hurts him and stuff and Harry stays at Malfoy manor.
Hopefully this is enough info
Thanks guys

I have become the thing that everyone warns against. I did not download my favorite fics. Does anyone have files downloaded they can share with me?

Attaching some of the iconoic moments from some of my most fav fanfictions, see if ya all can guess which fanfic is from! Also for those who haven't read these your sign to go and read lol

Will make a pt 2 soon cause this a fun way to recommend fics lol [I'll drop all links in replies to those asking w/o the fic name so as to not ruin it for those who wanna guess]

does anyone have any fics where harrys lowk a slag and fucks around with a bunch of people and it really takes a toll on draco so he just i dont know stop talking to harry or something like that and harry has to win him back? i usually hate fics with either characters as ‘players’? but im in the mood for it rn 😓😓

I wouldn’t have posted this, my bff convinced me.
As mentioned in my previous post (https://www.reddit.com/r/drarry/s/CxywB0eLMi) I’m sick and at home, I’m finally doing much better and going back to work tomorrow.
I wanted to be done with this before that and so I rushed it (and I actually finished it yesterday morning).
I also didn’t want to buy any new yarn and wanted to use everything I collected in my stash over the years
So, here’s my ugly (every crocheter nightmare) tribute to running on air.
I’m sure I got the inspiration for this exact road from a post I saw ages ago on Instagram but I cannot remember it (I think it was a book bind?)

It’s also way too big to ever be anything, but I’m sure my closet will cherish it lol

hi guys,

i desperately need some fanfic recs cause i’ve been gone for a while😭. i like long fics and top harry/bottom draco dynamic.

looking forward to your recs mwah🩷

It's the spooky season and I am looking for Drarry fics where Halloween is a central theme (Halloween aesthetic, trick or treating, dressing up...) ! I don't think I ever read one, so all recommendations are welcome. Can be anything from Teen to Explicit, with the story taking place on or around Halloween ? Thank you !!

does anyone know a fic where harry disappeared from the wizarding world and draco accidentally apparates into a dragon area and harry saves him (harry has a shaved head) and he also made different friends. draco for some reason cant go back to london because he has to wait for a train so during that time he gets closer to harry. draco is engaged to an original male character but he secretly wants harry. eventually draco gets back to london but he breaks up with his partner and harry comes back to London just because of draco and they get together

I feel like a lot of fics skim those issues and I would love to read a fic (length doesn't matter) which explores some issues with their upbringing and them talking about it or even work through it. I think Harry and Draco were raised with a lot of issues. I would think Harry hordes food or absolutely devour food, because he is afraid someone would take it away. Maybe he is afraid of open spaces or is claustrophobic? I could see he has ADHD or something similar?

Draco could have body issues- he always had to be perfect. Or he is afraid of touches- I read somewhere it's likely canon that he got hit by his dad?!

Also, it was the 90s and I can imagine there was still a lot of homophobia around (I was raised fairly open minded so I didn't run into it, luckily). Draco has to "produce" an heir so he is conflicted I would think. And the dursleys don't seem very tolerant either.

Which other issues/trauma can you imagine for the boys? And do you have recs for me?

(I re-read snogging lessons a short while ago and it depicted the wizard world as open minded about it, which is also interesting)

Thank you and I would love to hear your thoughts. 💕

(English is my second language so I apologise for my wordings and grammar)

Hiii. I want to find a fic please. In it Draco was a priest or meant to be a priest. But maybe Voldemort or someone else won a war in the kingdom, someone that haf something agains Draco, so he is given as a husband to Harry. I remember Draco is good with languages and inmediately starts learning his language to try and get revenge for his family. He also decides he needs to seduce Harry, and sleep with him, even tho it is against his morals. I don't remember much else, sadly

Shamelessly begging for recs! I just reread from love obviously last night and I want to find something similar -- big emotional payoff, sloooooow burn (like first kiss at 75% of the way through is my jam), slightly bizarre / pretentious / rude but well-meaning Draco, confused/oblivious Harry... all those kind of vibes (or fics with combos of some of these and not others!). Also love the slightly baffled but welcoming vibe from Hermione / the Weasleys in that fic 🥲

I've read pretty much all the top-kudos fics, I hate kid fics (deaged fics and fics where they have kids), and I do not read non-magic drarry fics, gender swaps, or omegaverse/mpreg. Set at hogwarts or post-hogwarts is fine by meee 🙏

Olá a todos!!!!

Preciso de fics que me façam rir e que sejam de preferência leves.

E que não seja oneshot.

De resto aceito tudo.

Obrigada!!!

Not my art but found it on Pinterest and I need a fuc with rhis vibe and I need it to be smutty.

I want draco smitten like its obvious and harry oblivious but is starting to catch on and I want the smut to smut, you get me?
