What do I need to upgrade
Okay, so for starters, I’m running an AM4 setup with a Ryzen 9 5900X, an RTX 5070, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM running at 3600 MT/s.
Honestly, my PC runs pretty much every game I play at 1440p with 200+ FPS in most cases. The exception is Rust. Even on low settings, I struggle to stay above 80 FPS on 250-pop servers. On 800- or 1,000-pop servers, the performance is even worse to the point where I can’t really play.
I’m not exactly sure what the issue is. I’m thinking it might be a CPU bottleneck, but I’m not certain. I found an AM5 bundle with a motherboard, CPU, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM for around $700, and I’m considering upgrading in hopes of improving my Rust performance.
Rust is honestly the main reason I bought a PC, so it’s frustrating that I’m having these issues. My RAM is already running at its rated speed, and I’ve tried lowering my graphics settings, but nothing seems to help enough.
Before I spend $700 on an upgrade, I’d like to hear what you guys think. Could this be a CPU bottleneck, or is there something else I should look into first? Would upgrading to AM5 make a noticeable difference in Rust, especially on high-population servers?

Is Intel RMA always so very difficult?
So I have a 13900K which has started to die.
I thought I had evaded it until a week ago.
I checked the warranty, everything seemed fine, 2029/07.
I decided to try and fix it with limiting tdp and gimping turbo.
That worked, but the performance was abysmal compared to what it used to be.
So I decided to go through with the rma, but 3 days after, it suddenly became a tray cpu with no date at all (back then I did not realize what is a tray cpu).
I sent in the RMA form regardless.
Obviously I have received a dismissive answer to the whole thing, but when I check the warranty, it shows tray cpu 2029/03 now.... interesting
It seems Intel's warranty dates are changing as often as one changes their undergarments.
It appears I am not the only one who experiences such a phenomenon, because I have seen someone else mention abrupt changes in their warranty end date, tho their case was not even close to this level, it still is rather interesting.
Since then I encountered multiple CS agents, whom I firmly suspect to be bots, because they clearly read nothing of what I wrote or maybe did and failed to understand any of it.
My situation:
The shops in the EU generally do not seem to care at all about what intel promised when they said 5 years of extended warranty for every 13 and 14th gen CPU. They provide 2 years, as per the regulations and then its done, unless they say otherwise.
And even if the shops did care, mine is not even in business anymore, so what now?
Right now I have a very expensive keychain ornament in the form of this 13900k CPU and Intel seems to be perfectly content with the situation...
I wonder just how many others have been stuck in this loophole with this garbage cpu generation and Intel's dishonourable RMA process.

5600 Vs 5700x3D at 1440p Ultra Wide with a 9070XT - is it worth it?
Trying to find anyone with failing Raptor Lake that actually failed (once or more) Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool
As title: is that tool really realiable in any sort?
Official link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/15951/intel-processor-diagnostic-tool.html
I never seen anyone failing it even with an unstable\failing Raptor Lake, so I am really wondering if someone actually failed it as an element to determine if its CPU was failing or not.
Best regards.

5600g silicon degraded
Sorry for my bad English
Is my 5600g is really degraded? And how much i can sell it? It requires to oc to boot in windows after that it will freeze and restart for an hr or more while browsing or gaming and sometimes idle The b450 pro a ii asus board gave the cpu to much voltage at auto 1.45to 1.50 while im overclock and used it daily

i5-14600KF – Low Cinebench 2026 Multi-Core Score and High CPU Temperatures
I have an Intel Core i5-14600KF paired with a be quiet! Pure Rock Pro 3 dual-fan tower cooler, but I’m still experiencing high CPU temperatures and a lower-than-expected Cinebench score.
I installed the new cooler using the thermal paste supplied with it. Both fans are working, the cooler appears to be mounted correctly, and my case has five fans providing airflow.
Despite upgrading to a significantly larger cooler, my Cinebench score has not improved. In fact, it dropped slightly from 4,846 to 4,765 points. The CPU still reaches temperatures close to 100°C and appears to be thermally throttling under a multi-core workload.
I’m trying to understand why the performance is lower than expected and why the Pure Rock Pro 3 struggles to keep the i5-14600KF cooler at around 180 W of power consumption.

Help with 5600X3D temps.
My 5600X3D seems to be idling around 55-60C (1-3% usage) and maxing out around 90-91C in stress tests.
Are either of these too high? Should I repaste? (I did have to pull the cooler back up twice before actually screwing it in but I used plenty of paste)
Specs:
-3 intake 4 exhaust fans (TL C12C S)
-Thermalright Burst Assassin 120 SE
