Advice Advice on selling Morgan silver dollar lot.

Hey I have around 3200 Morgan silver dollar coins that I am looking for some advice on selling them. I personally went through 3000 of them and can tell you there are no special date or mint mark coins in the collection. They came from Swiss America Trading if that matters at all. Some are obviously in better shape than others and others look heavily circulated. What are the steps to try to liquidate most of these 2000-3000? The years range from 1878 to 1921 if that matters. The pictures are a small sample of what I have.

Show and Tell Proof 1835 Half Cent

Over the past 15 years I have been collecting different series and collecting the occasional coin that I felt would be a great type coin and, was affordable. Maybe 13 years ago I got a proof 1835 Classic Head Half Cent, PR63BN. There are some greens and blues in the toning. Getting a photo without a holder and without glare is difficult so I tried to tilt the coin to give the best tinting. The photo of this coin with both sides comes from PCGS. With a few more I hope to have a copper and silver proof type set. I will have to skip a few, like the 1819 proof large cent, unique

The mintage of the 1835 Classic Head Half Cent is 18, this is in the top PCGS 8. This is an original proof, not a restrike, some of which are made for collectors.

Coin Damage Actually surprised myself that I was able to find out what coin this was!

Mom found this coin in the road and picked it up thinking it was a US quarter. I saw the ridge was not a US quarter and I just had to find out what it was. The lighting let me see a few letters, and I could barely make out "TWENTY FIVE CENTS" and "STATES". I did a bit of digging and actually found it. It's the East Caribbean 25 cent coin. Mind you, we are in rural PA, so why it was way out here, I have no idea.

Just got this in the mail from an online auction, paid $460 after premium, shipping, etc, and is by far my most expensive purchase to date, but I think I did okay? First non-Morgan silver dollar for my collection!

Another poster said I should definitely submit this for grading; do y’all think so too?

Show and Tell Found these beauties in a coin roll at work

These were in a roll right next to each other, the merc dime was reverse facing at the end of the roll with the silver rosy dime right behind it, pretty sure the merc dime is a 1920-S, the mint mark is BARELY legible because of how slick this example is (probably AG3 if I had to guess) the 1960-D rosy is in pretty decent shape (probably a low-mid AU) pretty stoked to find these at work and at face value nonetheless, happy hunting y’all!

Value Request 6 Cavalli, 1792 (from the Kingdom of Naples)

Is this coin worth anything in this condition? It's for sale on a local site for second-hand items for €16 (around $20) including shipping. The c1792 6 Cavalli coins I've seen for sale online cost more, but are generally in better condition. Is it worth getting this one?

Coin Art Found a Gold Coin in My Grandfather’s Old Wallet! 🪙👀

I found this tiny gold-coloured coin in my grandfather’s old wallet. It features Queen Victoria on one side and a horseman on the other. Someone called it “Victoria Digi.”

I tested it is gold...

Is this genuine gold? How old is it, and could it be valuable? Any coin experts who can help identify it? 👀

Advice Anyone having coins lost in shipment?

I've had several coins in last month from EBAY, Tiktok show initial shipping information on USPS get received at and shipped to next location, and then nothing. Or next to last leg, and no more updates. No problems getting refunded, just think workers are hoping for gold/or high value coins. The number of instances has greatly increased.

Real or Fake? 1822 George IV Crown (TERTIO) weighs only 27.165 g — does this look genuine?

Thumbnail

I bought an 1822 George IV Crown with the TERTIO edge inscription. It's in Fine condition but weighs only 27.165 g, compared with the standard 28.28 g.

Numista: https://en.numista.com/13181

Is this weight plausible for a genuine coin with this level of wear, or should I be concerned about a counterfeit?

If it turns out to be fake or misrepresented, I'll leave the seller a negative review with the evidence. I'd like to get your opinions before jumping to conclusions.

Thanks!

At the two o’clock of the national emblem seems to be a mark of repair. I thought chopmarked Chile peso is extremely rare, and therefore it might not be the case. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Newbie and not a collector. Please be kind… Was going through a junk drawer in a desk and found some random coins. Came across this coin we found while digging in our garden. It was near where the previous house burned down after a huge wildfire almost 25 years ago. I can see that it’s a US coin but I can’t figure out which one. I “think” I see America along the edge and maybe a snake and an eagle; possibly some lines like you’d see sun rays? I tried to take a tracing hoping some detail would pop but it was a failure. I’m clueless! Size is about 32 mm diameter. The outside edge appears smooth but it could just be filled with gunk? I realize, like old furniture, you’re not supposed to clean coins— but do I try to clean this so I can ID it?
