saxmedia posted some killer shots of my 98 Evo the other day on Instagram that he took at the Salt City Invasion show a little while back so I thought I'd share here also. He did an amazing job of making my bike look good!

Always hated this cross plate on bikes that people make into customs. So I cut it off. Sectioned some tubing and welded it in so now I have a proper looking spot to install seat bungs for the solo saddle.

I could post 1000 pics and still not show everything that was happening out there. Already looking forward to the next one.

...has become reality. And it's better than I ever could've imagined. Couple days left of nice weather and she'll rest for the winter. Forks, sissy bar, and exhaust and I'll call it done.

Not really sure if anyone really cares or remembers, but here's a progress update on my 2000s era chopper tribute. Finally was able to get all of the drivetrain and Belt drive mocked up. Now just need to weld the tabs for the tank and rear fender and start looking for a 19 inch front wheel and I'll be sending it off for paint.

I got a great deal on a 1965 mid shaft transmission and i was wondering if its possible to pair with a 1982 shovel. i’m planning on running an alternator tin primary inner with a 1.5 belt drive. I’ve heard people say you can use a mid shaft on an open belt setup, but can’t find any reliable info on how difficult it is or if it truly even works. any help would be appreciated!

I have stripped the bolts on 2 hub pullers and wacked the shit out of this thing from the A side and it won’t budge.
Any experience or idea removing this hub on a 4 speed.

If so, I'm curious if you've had oil leaking from the vent, water coming in, or any issues like that? Evo 5spd transmission vents on the back of the lid, pointed directly at the tire so I'd prefer it not get lubed by the vent.

One axle plate welded in, so I had to nab a quick picture. Just spent this morning working on my welder, so later this week I’ll do the other side.

Dad passed away a few years ago and I found this picture of him on a chopper in the 90s and I’d love to see which model this is and potentially buy one. Thank you!

Cause this is more fun and gettin' one from china is too easy.

Just wondering if anyone knows of some solo seat spring mounts I can throw on a frame without welding or drilling.

I'm a bit embarrassed to ask, but I'm as new as they come when it comes to building a custom chopper.
There's an 07 883 sportster custom for sale in my area for a decent price. Wondering if the "custom" model will work for a chopper and how it differs from let's say a a base sportster or "low" model of the same year. Maybe it's just me but the xl883c looks like it has a different stance/profile than the xl883L.
Am I trippin?

i’ve heard a lot of folks saying evos run like shit with points, but i only heard that after i switched to points. so what’s yalls thoughts about it? is it gonna mess up anything on my bike? should i just make the switch to the dynatek that most guys use or keep with my points?
