Pics & Video Owners of multiple cavaliers, let me see your pack!
We clearly have a type 😆 Over the years we’ve had a black & tan and a tri-color but right now we’re 100% Blenheim.

Hi folks! The r/cavaliers moderator team here.
We're pleased to announced that we have a new subreddit banner!
Our banner was the ultimate product of this post from Lam of r/DrawMyPets. I THINK our featured players are, left to right:
Look at all those gorgeous cavs! Happy Monday, y'all. :)
(Because reddit has three different banner display settings that it uses on different platforms, the banner may display incompletely on your device. Sadly, we can't solve reddit's technical challenges -- so please enjoy as-is!)

Hi folks! The r/cavaliers moderator team here. In November, we put out a call for submissions to become the r/cavaliers mascot (i.e. subreddit thumbnail). We received about 200 submissions and were blown away by all the beautiful, talented, incredible cavaliers in this community.
Because we received so many submissions, we're breaking the voting down into two phases:
This is the FINAL BRACKET. The #1 vote getter will be offered the chance to be the r/cavaliers mascot. This bracket will run from January 8, 2025 through January 15, 2025.
Fine print:
Thank you all for offering your wonderful cavaliers to be celebrated by the community. We can't wait to spend the next month joining you in that celebration!
Join us on the competition MEGATHREAD to discuss all the wonderful cavaliers in competition!

What my cav does when I leave for an appointment. I work and school from home, so it doesn’t happen often.

I’m worried about my boy. He recently started getting really upset and biting me if I touch his hind legs. He JUST had his vet appointment yesterday and they said everything looked good. They examined him and even stretched his legs and he didn’t have this reaction. I’m assuming it means he’s in pain but I have no idea what triggers it since most of the time he’s fine. This happens about every 2 weeks randomly. I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction about what tests to ask for or what to do to help my baby feel better.

what kind of dog bowls do you guys use for our long eared guys? i had a chocolate lab before fozzie and of course didn't have to think about her ears getting wet when drinking water. any suggestions are welcome. pic of fozzie bear at the lake when he was around 6 months old and discovering his love for swimming.

Most “cavalier” owners don’t realize their dog isn’t even a cavalier.

I can’t even begin to tell you what a handful these babies have been since the moment we woke up this morning. Seeing them cuddle in the evenings makes it all worth it.

Cavalier were getting in a month and our current dog Jack!
We have a 7 year old Shih Tzu mix that is aggressively friendly. He will run up to anyone and everyone, especially other dogs, ready to sniff and play. He’s gentle with our friend’s little Yorkie and backs off when she barks at him so I think he understands boundaries and his own size difference mostly.
I guess my question is for people who have added a cavalier to a household with different breeds or even just another high energy pup.
Is there anything we can do to help her feel more safe and comfortable?
What should we do to prepare our home for her arrival?
Should we bring Jack with us to pick her up or should we wait until she’s home with us to introduce them to each other?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

A couple days ago I got dog safe nail markers and a dog crown from 5 Below! I highly recommend. The markers dry pretty quickly and it says the color can be removed with alcohol but I do feel like it will eventually just chip away after some time. (Please don't judge my boys paw hair 😭😭 I've been clipping it myself recently and I'm aware it looks botched)

I was clearing out some of photos on my phone and I stumbled across a photo of my first Cavalier Wheeler. I can’t stop crying right now because I miss him so much. He was absolutely the best dog ever.
