I have a cat I found about two or three kinda ago. He’s still a kitten, it isn’t even time to get him neutered yet. But he has been to the vet. He has heroes virus. There isn’t much that can be done. He got it as a kitten before I found him and he’ll suffer with it his entire life. Unfortunately it is making its way through all my cats, but they are older and they can shake it off. I had another cat who had this, and he constantly had a runny nose. He actually just passed last month and lived to be 16. But this kitten, monkey, he is really going through it. He’s gotten shots and medicine and calling the vet tomorrow, because it seems to be flaring up. But I was wondering what other people have done at home, besides medication, to help them. I am definitely going to get whatever medication the vet prescribes, but right now he has a horrible runny, snotty nose. Poor thing, it was so gross he got snot on my phone and bed. I’m sitting in a bathroom with him right now with the shower running. I also have some enisyl-f lysine feline bites on order that the vet prescribed. I’m just looking to give him relief anyway I can. His sniffles are making me
So sad.

I have a stray cat that lives on my roof and I was just out petting him. I have an ingrown toenail that ive been picking at, and he stepped on it very briefly. He is eating wet food, and is very affectionate and vocal. He has never bitten or scratched me, I'm just a severe hypochondriac and rabies is one of my biggest fears
