I'm eyeing some new watches (LF-20W and LF-30W, among others). Local distributors are eye-wateringly expensive where I live, and shipping from most sites is also expensive, i.e. about the cost of the watch.

Has anyone tried buying a Casio on AliExpress lately? I'm sure the default assumption is you're getting a fake, but I'm curious about actual experiences.

I am 19 and I have been wearing a G Shock for as long as I can remember Lately I have been wanting to switch things up and get something a bit more classic and versatile that can work with most everyday outfits

Since I am on a pretty tight budget I was browsing Casio lines and stumbled upon the Casio MTP 1374D 1A3VDF

I really like that it offers a classic look without trying to be something it is not (definitely not looking to buy a 30 dollar replica of a 3 million dollar watch off AliExpress)

My plan is to swap the original bracelet for a nice leather strap to give it an even cleaner classic look

A few questions for you all 1 What are your thoughts on this specific model 2 Are there any other budget friendly alternatives you would recommend taking a look at

I recently got a ocw-t200s and like many things I own I like to investigate how it's built so I looked up the fcc file for it based on the number on the back of the case.

What a surprise. The fcc file shows a gshock that looks close in specs but not appearance and button layout.

What is Casio doing? ​​​Is this oceanus jsut a rebranded gshock?

Is there any casio model that looks like grand seiko? Asking for a friend.

Newbie here, had this watch for over a decade. It runs amazing but always syncs to East Coast US time- it doesn't matter where in the earth i am. I live in the EU now, and everytime I get the battery changed I have the correct time for a day and then it reverts back to Florida where i bought it. Anyone have the same issue? Im really tired of doing the math when I wear the watch!

The dial shows a black horse. Challenge here was to make the horse still visible as the dial changes colors due to light.

Very small details was the goal for this beauty.

Alright, no points for creativity on this post, i know it's said a million times over, but oh well, what's one more on the pile.

My daily watch is a casio a158w, not even the "best" cheap casio, as i'm sure plenty would point out. But that literally doesn't matter at all, it's so perfect, it fits my slim wrist really nice, it tells the time perfectly, it looks somehow sporty, casual, smart, all at the same time while not really saying anything definitive about who you are. I can wear it to pretty much anything, for example tonight i'm going to an event in black tie, and i might put this watch on with it to be honest.

Despite having worn this watch for years now, i've never been into watches at all, but recently i've caught the bug a bit. I've been slowly going through all different phases of wanting different kinds of watches, sports watches, dress watches, g shocks, expensive watches, bla bla. but every single time, it's this (extremely) cheap casio that inevitably leaves me questioning why i even want/need the other watch.

For the price, this watch is absolutely unreal.

I 3D-printed an F-91W, and I’m going to fit it with a digital watch module. This is genuinely fun!

Thoughts?

Six months ago, I was planning on buying an F-91. It looked nice, fit well on my wrist, and was comfortable. However, the light could be improved. Still, it is a really good looking, reliable watch IMO, and I was very satisfied to have added a digital watch to my small collection.

Well, that was six months ago... and since then, I have bought three more, with the F-217H being the latest. I feel like I'm done with it, but I fear I may end up getting a couple more.
