Siem Reap Recent Internet Issues
I am experiencing some strange behavior with my wifi service recently. I can no longer access some sites or connect to Apple iCloud unless I use a VPN. These issues have only started recently,, perhaps the last 2 or 3 days.
Anyone else experiencing these kind of issues?

Siem Reap Looking for a place to rent in Sla Kram for no more than $250 and a pool to use.
I found some decent hotels that have a pool, include electricity and water nearby for $350 in total which is reasonable but it’s just a bedroom and bathroom. I preferred some apartments and houses that I saw online that had a separate kitchen and living room area as well as a balcony but they were a bit far away.
Does anyone know of any place near Wat Polanka area of Sla Kram Siem Reap that meets my needs?

Food What are your favorite food spots in Cambodia?
What are your absolute favorite places to eat in Cambodia?
It could be a fancy restaurant, a little hole in the wall, a local neighborhood spot, or even a street food stall. I’m especially interested in hidden gems and places that tourists might not easily discover.
I’m putting together my Cambodia food bucket list and would love to try your recommendations.
Please share the name and location of the place, along with your must try dish and what makes it special.
If you have any personal experiences, photos, or tips, I’d really appreciate you sharing them. I can’t wait to explore more of Cambodia’s amazing food scene. Thanks in advance 🙏

Visas/paperwork Wife is renewing passport, name change
My wife and I got married in the US a few years ago, all of her US documents are under her married name. We're planning a trip to Cambodia this upcoming year and she will need to renew her passport. I'm wondering if it'll be possible for her to update it to her married name as well. We are both women, so I'm assuming the Cambodian government will not recognize our marriage certificate as valid. But I wanted to ask just in case someone had some insight. We will also only have about 2 weeks to do the paperwork, so if it's going to be a long process we might not try it.
Of course it's not the end of the world if her passport doesn't match her married name, we'd just prefer it to.
Any information about the process is appreciated!

Phnom Penh Phnom Penh residents: Which fiber ISP gives you the best ping to Singapore for gaming?
Hi everyone!
I'll be moving to Phnom Penh soon and am looking for a reliable fiber internet provider for both work and online gaming.
I mainly play Minecraft, Lol, and Valorant.
I'm considering SINET, NTC, and MekongNet, but I'd love to hear from people who actually use these providers.
Questions:
Which ISP do you use, and which area of Phnom Penh are you in?
What ping do you get to Singapore/Vietnam based servers?
If you play on servers in Vietnam or other parts of Southeast Asia, what ping do you get there?
Do you experience packet loss, lag spikes, or evening congestion?

Travel Should I buy the GoPro Hero 13 in Phnom Penh for casual travel? Need budget advice, estimated prices, and store recommendations.
Hey everyone,
I’m currently in Phnom Penh and looking to buy a camera to capture photos and videos while traveling. I am not a professional photographer or content creator—just a casual traveler wanting to save memories.
I’m considering the GoPro Hero 13, but since I am on a budget, I wanted to ask for advice from the community before buying

Battambang Battambang Hotel Recommendation
I’m planning a visit to Battambang and would really appreciate a hotel recommendation. Ideally, I’d like to stay somewhere centrally located near markets, restaurants, and cafés that’s clean and safe. Thank you

Culture I toured all over Cambodia and Koh Rongs and Svay Rieng were the very best places for me. Had absolute blasts. Nature, laid back atmosphere and no stress. Any places comparable to these two?
A long Veng, Sai Takku, Osmach, Poi Pet, Phnom Penh, Pailin Snooky, Than Sur Bokor, and Angkor Wat were average compared to the above.
Too developed and many creepy people with ulterior motives around.

Phnom Penh Where to get noise canceling headphones/earbuds/earphones ? And how much are they usually?
I've got really loud and obnoxious neighbors and I'm not the confrontation type, plus it's not smart to confront them when I'm a girl who lives alone. But every 30 seconds there's a loud scratching noise, sort of like fork scraping against a plate but 5 times louder. It's annoying. Anyways! Thanks in advance reddit peeps !

Phnom Penh Sabre fencing in Cambodia/Phnom Penh
I'm traveling to Phnom Penh for a week during the summer, are there any clubs to fence sabre at? I saw CamEd has a fencing club and I'll contact them, but it's hard to get info on other clubs there because lack of websites, and I want a backup option in case I'm not able to fence at CamEd.
