Hello users of r/CafeRacers. We have hit 40,000 members! This is brilliant. Our next goal is 45,000 members and then 50,000 members by the end of the year. Can we gain 10,000 members in 11 months?

Getting bored
This is my first road legal bike. Got my motorcycle endorsement with this thing 79 cb650 I put together. Itβs fun to rip around town but I feel like itβs just not enough. I absolutely love this bike but the gearing is just terrible and makes longer rides not super enjoyable. Pics are from pick up and how it sits now. Got it not running had to go through most of the wiring due to pinched wires, rebuilt the carbs, clutch pack, cognito rear sets, rear hoop, lights, delkevic 4-1, and more. Should I sell? Trade? Keep and buy a second bike?

Advice/Help Needed Tank painting problem
Hi guys! I need advice with a problem I have with my modified VanVan 125.
Years ago I modified my VanVan to turn it into a Cafe Racer. For doing so, I bought an Honda cg 125 tank, my workshop applied the inner anti-corrosive painting, and another workshop painted the whole tank.
The problem is that there must be some bad interface, and the gasoline vapors are creating these bubbles below the painting....
How could I improve this? First I tried to seal everything with a bicomponent glue (Araldite) but it didn't work. Now I am thinking on putting some kind of NBR rubber seal around it, but my fear is that gasoline would get trapped below...
Obvious answer is repainting, but it's expensive π
Help!

I love cafe racers but I had to put this Hondamatic back to it's original state
The first picture is how I got it. Luckily the guy had kept the chopped frame bits and the seat, rear fender, etc. I was stoked to get this bike back to the way it came off the assembly lone. Some cafe builds are sick but a two-speed semi-automatic Honda 400 ain't it.

Ideas for finishing these open frame ends?
Dealing with a hacked up frame for an old Kawa. The rear peg bosses were cut off leaving open frame tubes. ID is about 3/4",OD is a hair under 1". What are some options that don't include cheap plastic plugs?
I can mig well enough to fool people from 5' away if that helps.
Thanks!

Photo A transformation
I think it's fair to say that, thanks to the versatility of the Interceptor/Continental GT platform, I've had the pleasure of enjoying three very distinct versions of the same machine.
After seven years of ownership, and with fewer opportunities to ride as often as I once did, I decided it was time for another transformation.
With my enduring admiration for the subcultures and motorcycle aesthetics of the '60s and '70s, I thought I'd give the old girl a makeover.
Quite proud of the outcome and yes it is a wrap and the parts are fairly stock with the exception of the Bolt-on fairing kit, by Autologue.

Texavina seats?
Iβm looking to order a seat from Texavina and have been communicating back-and-forth with their customer service through email and Viber which is a phone messaging app.
I understand there is a language barrier however, the inconsistency and sketchiness of the messages gives me pause before placing an order.
Has anyone dealt with them before?
