Purchased the '84 Audi Quattro Mattel Brick Shop set...
This thing is so much cooler than I expected. I'm a huge fan of the series' 'Life on Mars' and 'Ashes to Ashes', and the key vehicle of the second series is a red 1983 Audi Quattro. Now, admittedly it wasn't the sport model, but it cemented my love of the classic 80's Quattro, so this was a no-brainer.
Now, since the series is set in the U.K., and this set appears to come with a European license plate, I decided to modify it and switch the steering side from U.S. left-hand to U.K. right-hand. This was easier than expected, basically requiring mirroring the assembly of the steering column, the placement on the car itself, and some of the engine compartment elements.
Honestly, I'd be curious to grab another one of these just to switch it from the sport model to the standard.

Mattel Brick shop > technic/speed champions.
Just finished building my second brick shop set and I must say I love it! I’ve been ~30 speed champions and technic sets. Until you get to the high dollar (>$100)technic and brick sets I don’t think the over all quality and look stacks up.

New Batman Returns Batmobile
The main issue with this set is the minifigure—sadly, it’s been replaced with a *Batman: Animated Series* version 🤣, which differs from the original LEGO *Batman Returns* minifigure that should have been included.
Overall, it’s quite satisfying; there were no missing pieces. A few parts were a bit loose, but I used some glue to secure them and make the build feel sturdier. I followed the instructions via the LEGO app, which made the process much easier. I’ve included the older 1989 Batmobile set for comparison in terms of size and detail against this new version. For any Batman fan, I highly recommend adding this to your Batmobile collection! 😁

AE Copy of Adventures in Transylvania BDP#910049
I got this kit for like $75 maybe $80 on AE a few months back but always had the intention of building it closer to Halloween. Oh man this kit is Amazing! such a great set! I can see why it is regarded so high, the GOAT for BDP. If you did not get a chance to buy this in the stupid limited window, and want it I really recommend you get it. Such a great set with so many great details.
For full review please check out my video on it at:
I hope you all have a great day!

These new building blocks are excellent for young children and feature great versatility. #SUPUZZ
Great for 3–5 year olds to build rich scenes, and easier for little hands to grip than traditional building blocks.

I got a HiWEEGO 8081 motor brick driving from a Pi Zero instead of its phone app
I bought this roughly €46 alternative-brick robot kit and immediately went down the wrong rabbit hole: can I control the motor brick from a Pi Zero 2 W instead of the phone app?
The full robot is the HiWEEGO 8081 from the listing. For these first tests I stripped it down to the motor brick and wheels. One wheel has a tyre; the other is a bare rim. So “forward” mostly means spinning. That's on me.
I had GPT-6.1 SOL help with the code. An unofficial iM.Master SDK gave us 21 passing tests and zero movement. First try I'd even left the robot off. Switching it on still didn't fix it.
What finally helped was recording what the actual phone app sends over Bluetooth. It uses a different advertisement format from the SDK and keeps sending neutral between movement commands. After a restart, initialization and roughly four seconds holding neutral, we got forward/STOP working. Then a fixed forward/turn/forward sequence worked too.
The Pi and camera are still on the desk. Mounting them on the build is the next step; this isn't an autonomous robot yet.

My First Set: F-16 Fighting Falcon
I’d never built anything with these kinds of bricks before because I always thought it would be too difficult, and honestly, I’m not a very patient person. Then a friend gifted me this set, and I finally got to experience how fun it is to get completely immersed in the building process. My eyes and neck were pretty sore after spending so many hours building it, but seeing the finished model gave me such a sense of accomplishment.

RX-0 Unicorn Gundam MOC
Finally finished this build after about a week of working on it in my spare time! Unfortunately, the backpack is pretty heavy, and the leg connections aren't quite sturdy enough, so it can only stand with the help of a display stand. I've run out of spare parts, so there's not much I can do to improve the stability at this point. Still, I don't think that takes away from the overall look of the build. If you look closely, you might notice that some of the white parts are slightly different in color from the others. That's because I used misini pieces for the brighter white parts. I just couldn't find any more pieces in the exact same shade.
