I really hate online dating but would like to meet someone looking for a relationship and not just one thing. Where do 30-40 something’s in Bismarck/Mandan go to meet people?

I've been going to the typical sites looking to see if there's anything advertised, library, fb, parks and rec sites. I haven't really seen a whole heck of a lot in the way of board games or other kinda geeky stuff. I've looked at some of the game stores, but their schedule never really lines up too well for me working full time and single dadding. Outside of that I'm looking for any kinda social group or club to meet people. I don't drink, and occasionally smoke, not much into hunting or fishing. Am down for more casual sports as well.

Anyone know of any groups that meet on Mondays or Tuesdays?

Where in Bismarck can a person find good hiking boots for kids that aren’t insanely expensive?? Going on a hiking vacation soon and want my kids to have actual hiking boots that will keep their feet warm and have good traction. But being kids they won’t wear that pair for very long so I don’t really want to drop $100+ on something like that.. already buying at least 3 pairs a year plus snow boots.. their feet are growing like crazy and they are rough on them so can’t always do hand me downs to the younger kid because the shoes are completely torn up 🫠 boys..

Hi everyone! My spouse and I are potentially thinking of moving here. We've got family there and have visited quite a few times. Coming from a much more rural area, it has everything we need. Here's the issue - we have a pit mix and we have to rent. I have noticed that pitbull restrictions are very prevalent here. Does anyone have any recommendations? We'd need to have 2 beds and be around $1300 a month. Is this feasible? We are floating the idea of making him an ESA again as he was before, but we moved somewhere we didn't need to worry about an ESA letter as the owners don't care about him. He was my legitimate ESA for years before moving to our current city. Thank you again!

Want to add: I really don't want to argue about pitbulls and your perception of them. We've had him for 7 years, he's an old man, and an amazing dog. Just adding in case anyone wants to argue instead of being helpful.
