I finished watching the k-drama “The Glory”. It was an epic revenge story of a woman who was heavily bullied during her school years by four of her classmates which basically ruined her life. She came back years later to take revenge on each one of them. I enjoyed every moment of this thrilling series.

Bullying happens world wide and Bangladesh isn't any different in this regard. It can happen in school, and even in the universities which we call ragging (and in the western world it's called "hazing"). How is/are the person/people who used to bully you at school or university doing today? Are they living a very happy successful life or did karma eventually get to them?

আমি বলছি না ধর্ম, সংস্কৃতি বা মানুষের বিশ্বাস গুরুত্বপূর্ণ না। অবশ্যই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। কিন্তু একটা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের তরুণ সমাজের সবচেয়ে বড় energy যদি চলে যায় কে কী খাবে, কার বিশ্বাসে আঘাত লাগল, কে কাকে অপমান করল, কে কোন পক্ষ নিল, তারপর Facebook war, protest, পাল্টা protest, মারামারি…
তাহলে প্রশ্ন করতেই হয়:
আমরা ভবিষ্যতের জন্য প্রস্তুতি নিচ্ছি কখন?
যে বয়সে একজন ছাত্রের মাথায় থাকার কথা নতুন technology, research, startup, science, literature, economics, দেশের infrastructure কীভাবে improve করা যায়, সেই বয়সে আমরা একে অপরের প্লেটের ভেতর উঁকি দিয়ে দেখছি কে কী খাচ্ছে।
সবচেয়ে দুঃখজনক হলো, এই অযথা বাড়াবাড়ি এখন আমাদের youth-এর মধ্যেও খুব common হয়ে যাচ্ছে।
সামান্য একটা বিষয়কে ধর্মের অস্তিত্বের প্রশ্ন বানিয়ে ফেলা।
সামান্য disagreement-কে যুদ্ধ বানিয়ে ফেলা।
কেউ একটু অন্যভাবে ভাবলেই তাকে কাফের, নাস্তিক, দালাল, মৌলবাদী, ভারতীয় দালাল, পাকিস্তানি দালাল, যে কোনো একটা tag দিয়ে দেওয়া।
আমরা debate করতে ভুলে যাচ্ছি।
আমরা research-এর বদলে outrage করছি।
Innovation-এর বদলে identity politics করছি।
আর পৃথিবী আমাদের জন্য থেমে নেই।
অন্যরা যখন আগামী ২০ বছরের technology বানাচ্ছে, আমরা তখনও ঠিক করছি পাশের মানুষটা কী খাবে।
হয়তো একটা দেশের অবস্থান বুঝতে GDP ranking-ও সবসময় দেখতে হয় না।
কখনো কখনো শুধু দেখতে হয়,
সেই দেশের সবচেয়ে মেধাবী তরুণরা কী নিয়ে ব্যস্ত।
ধর্মান্ধতা শুধু ধর্মীয় সমস্যা না।
যখন সেটা মানুষের curiosity, tolerance, rational thinking আর productive energy খেয়ে ফেলে, তখন সেটা সরাসরি একটা দেশের development problem হয়ে যায়।
গরু খাওয়া বা না খাওয়ার অধিকার নিয়ে মানুষ নিজের সিদ্ধান্ত নিক।
কিন্তু একটা পুরো generation যদি এই প্রশ্নেই আটকে থাকে,
তাহলে ভবিষ্যতে আমরা flying car বানাব কি না সেটা দূরের কথা,
অন্যদের বানানো flying car আকাশ দিয়ে যেতে যেতে আমরা নিচে দাঁড়িয়ে হয়তো তখনও তর্ক করব, ওটার ভেতরে গরুর চামড়ার seat আছে কি না।

Finally brought a GPU for my pc its for playing games and other productive work. I already use 256GB(Windows) SSD and 1TB HDD, but i got so many files taking up space that installing games is harder now as latest games are just above 120GB each and also getting low bandwidth issues popping up in such games and slow loading times almost makes it unplayable sometime. My MB is AsRock Steel Legend B450M only got PCIE3 2slots maybe and 6 sata ports, any form factor of SSD is okay with me but in this economy ssd prices are so high can anyone suggest me any 512GB or 1TB SSD that's good quality and where can i get them at best price. I just dont want to spend 10k on SSD 😭

Honestly, I came home from university for Puja, thinking I’d get to enjoy the holidays but I ended up having absolutely no plans.There’s no Puja celebration in my local area, all my friends have gone their separate ways and are busy with their own plans and my family members are busy too.

Hello, I’m a 28-year-old man, and I got married ten months ago through an arranged marriage.

She then called her father and asked him to come over. He arrived, but no solution came out of the situation. Instead, he told her to take her gold jewelry and clothes and leave.
Honestly, the situation deeply hurt my self-respect. However, I didn’t try to stop her because I was afraid that things could escalate and she might file a false নারী নির্যাতন মামলা against me.
Thankfully, my younger sister recorded a video of my wife taking her belongings when she left. Later, her father told my mother that he would try to correct his daughter’s behavior and bring her back.
I was already hurt and confused by everything that had happened. Then, after a week, my wife started reposting some strange things on social media, so I decided to block her.
Her father then called my father to complain about why I had blocked her. They made an issue out of it and even called my mother, saying, “We won’t give our daughter to you.”
