What is corporate like?

Would love to hear from someone in corporate currently or in the past what kind of experience it is. What type of schedule is it usually, pay, job security if there is any. Compared to majors what’s the biggest differences?

Entry level first steps

I’m currently in an A&P school and I passed my general studying for my power plant now. I only got 9 months before I graduated. I want to get into west star aviation. But I’m open to anything that will give me the experience. Any suggestions on where to start looking? I heard about isfirms. I also did SkyWest pathway program.

Winter Work Clothes

Will be my first winter in Canada (Montreal). It will be killer for me being the first winter and that too working outdoors.

Fellow AMEs working here how do you layer up and what products do you use if winter wear provided by office (contractor) is not sufficient?

Thank you

You're a freshman in hs deciding your goal is to become an airplane mechanic.

Where would you start? What would you do differently and why?

Bonus points if you're in the Midwest and want to stay here.
