I (20F) have never tried alcohol, not even a sip. I grew up religious and have just never had any interest in trying alcohol. I’ve always said that I will never drink alcohol ever, but I think a lot of that is just religious guilt even though I’m not religious anymore and haven’t been for like five years. I decided that I do want to try alcohol just to know what it feels like, but I don’t want to get drunk. I just want to drink just enough to feel what’s it’s like to be under the influence or slightly tipsy. Any recommendations on what I should try? Since this is only going to be a one time thing, I want to make sure I try something that’s actually worth it. I for sure don’t want to take a shot. I want it to be something that I can sip on and assess how I’m feeling and if I want to keep drinking more of it/know when to stop.

I find this to be such a polarizing topic right now, since buying local is becoming an important issue for some.

So is buying local:

A company that comes from the specific country, produces and employs all staff in that country and is buying all its materials from the same country?

Can it be a foreign company that sources all the materials from the country that they are selling in?

Can it be a foreign company that sources its materials from many countries, but produces and employs people in the country they are selling?

I’ve only listed three, but I’m pretty sure there’s other variants to this question.

I would like to hear people’s thoughts on this.

What is this new behavior on reddit of people making shitty comments to you and then either immediately deleting them or blocking you. They are doing it because you can still see them on your notifications (if they are short) but is this to avoid getting downvoted or what? It's so shitty and petty, really. I also noticed nearly everyone is making their profile private for some reason. Probably so they can also be more troll-y.

After living together for a year (6 years together) my daughter and her boyfriend are splitting and she's been crying incessantly for a few days now.
