What to Watch? What's the best romance anime that has debuted in the last 5 years?
I am a fan of the romance genre and used to avidly watch it, but since the pandemic hit I've had less time to watch anime in general and I just kind of drifted off it and I want to retake it, specifically with the romance genre as I believe that it's easy to digest.
Here's some of my top romance anime that I've watched:
- Ore Monogotari!
- Toradora
- Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso
- Kaichou wa Maid Sama!
- Kaguya-sama Love is War
- Bunny Girl Senpai
- Chuunibyou demo ko Shitai!
- Nisekoi
- Wotakoi
- Gamers!
As you can see, I was an avid watcher of romance in the 2010's lol, but kinda left it.
Also, Clannad is my favorite anime of all time.
I like a combination of slice-of-lime with strong romance.
I don't like when the protagonist is an idiot (I tried watching "Smoking behind the supermarket with you but found it so stupid).

What to Watch? looking for an anime that will make me smile
so ill be honest that i’m pretty picky with anime. its hard for me to get into shonen or seinen but there has been some that ive really enjoyed.
anyways, im specifically looking for an anime that will make me smile and giggle while watching (which admittedly is kinda rare for me to find). this will usually involve romance with some silliness on the side (good characters are a must).
i just rewatched the apothecary diaries for the recent season and this has gotta be one of my favorites. it’s just so good ^.^
other shows that did this were “kiss him, not me” (amazing), smoking behind the supermarket (def gonna read the manga now), kaguya-sama (i can’t think of more at the top of my head)
i think i like the dynamic of the awkward guy who likes a girl that messes w him lol.
i have seen a lot of the other classic romance animes like horimiya, fruits basket, ouran host club, etc. but it’s just not scratching that itch for me rn
any recommendations are welcome!
also i use crunchyroll and prefer dub since im too blind to read subtitles from my couch & hate wearing my glasses lol

Discussion Loving the new Black Clover
The new season of black clover is coooooool, they fixed many of the previous issues.
They specifically toned down asta's non stop yelling and visuals got a big boost, I am loving it. Action is just much more clean and it pops
It feels like they read the reviews and really worked on it, I would live for it to get traction, I would love to watch it animated till the end.
This is truly doing justice to the source material, I liked it before but I love it now.
Every subsequent year feels like more and more good anime is being made, and it is so much better than all the slop available elsewhere not that anime is free from the isekai curse.
This being complete non-isekai fantasy is also a reason I think I love it so much. Not at all comparing it with other fantasy anime because freiren exists this year.

Discussion Average length of time between physical part releases vs. Complete Seasons?
So something I've noticed with anime that tend to run for multiple seasons, particularly ones that go over 3+ seasons:
They split the releases of the season into multiple parts before releasing the entire season. Sometimes also releasing Blu-ray/DVD combo packs. Has anyone noticed and kept track of this to see how long (on average) it takes for the full season to release as a more affordable box set? Take Slime's current Amazon pricing:
That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime:
S1 P1: $48.76
S1 P2: $38.50
S1 Complete: $45
S2 P1: $35.50
S2 P2: $47.50
S2 Complete: $45
S3 P1: $42
S3 P2: $42.50
S3 Complete: N/A
I was going to list a certain scientific railgun as well, but it seems like the availability of certain parts of some seasons, is now only available second hand which drives the price up insanely high for some of them. One edition of Season 1, Part 2 on DVD is currently listed for $250 "new", while the limited edition of part 1 is available for $30 and the entire season is available as a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack for $35.
The pricing seems so odd and inconsistent. Why would you pay more for two parts, when you can buy the box set and/or combo pack for less?

What to Watch? What are some good Animes To Watch?
Hi, I finished My Hero Academia over a year ago and enjoyed it alot and have been trying to find something that I would find very interesting. I'm not ready to yet but I have got JoJo's Bizzare Adventure and One Piece on my list but I wanna find some more animes before then.
Things I'm interested in is Music, Demons The Devil Etc,
Gaming.
I'm trying to find some Variety as I'm planning to write my own manga and trying to find inspiration and learn how different people write certain things.
I don't want to watch Demon Slayer or Jujustu Kaisen so please don't reccommend them same for Dragon Ball Z as not waiting a whole season for one fight to conclude.

What to Watch? Good anime that isnt super long
Ive seen anime like naturo, bleach, one piece, demons slayer, black clover etc….
I love this kind of anime that fight, especially if it has lots of magic and effects like demons slayer and black clover. Im looking for anime like demons slayer and black clover that even if its not all fighting and has a story, its quite to the point and doesnt last 500 episodes. I liked frieren but for me it lacked a bit on the fighting cuz they didnt fight much and for long. I love naturo and one piece because even though they are long, they actually make me feel stuff, makes me cry etc…. But i want things to watch as i havent seen much anime apart for the ones mentioned before and i dont want to take month or more watching just 1 anime.
What are your recommendations !???
