New episodes will drop on the YouTube channel, Krosmoz, starting November 5th.

Different narrators seems to be very central in second season now we have our Kanbaru centered arc done!

With the short intermission of Second Season, we make our grandiose return to Nadeko Medusa and Shinobu Time.

Previous thread

This week we will watch 1 arc

• Nadeko Medusa
• Shinobu Time

We are taking a break from second season.

Rewatch Schedule

Last week's preliminary questions

• How much of a person's identity is determined by who they were in high school?

• What is this arc's message about personal growth?

Discussion questions

• Is Numachi Rouka meant to be a real character? Or is she supposed to represent some part of Kanbaru?

• What are Kanbaru's feelings towards the Rainy devil at this point in the story?

• How do you interpret the relation between Kaiki and Tooe Gaen?

Theme questions

• What is the central message of this arc?

• What did Kanbaru get rid of to get rid of the rainy devil's arm?

• How do you feel about accepting an imperfect reality?

• Do you agree this arc fits thematically in the arcs in seasond season so far?

Preliminary discussion question for this week's arc

• At what point does self-deception become harmful?

• How does Suruga Devil tie in narratively to Nadeko's goal these next arcs?

• When can running away from your problems be the answer?

Small Challenge throughout the rewatch

Add Suruga Devil to the rating!

I'd like you all to try to create a ranking of your top 5 arcs of the series while watching. For rewatchers, don't let a previous watching experience influence your opinion, form this ranking throughout the rewatch! I will ask for an update a few times throughout this rewatch and I am interested to see your ranking.

Have fun!

So my sister after so long acting coy about the matter has finally expressed an interest in anime so i was wondering what a good starter anime is. Weirdly she is perfectly fine with like the most intense gore she’s perfectly fine with it. But she really doesn’t like sexual content and hates romance ones so with that in mind suggest away

After my 100th rewatch, I really felt the need to put together a video collection of the art you can find in this masterpiece. I was inspired by the official Mechanic Anthology which collects all the action and battle scenes, so for this one I picked only slow, panoramic or landscape shots. Enjoy the haunting beauty of this world! What else would you expect from combining Gainax, Jules Verne and Hayao Miyazaki?

also what is the basis of your top 5 openings

1. how nostalgic it is to you (like it reminds you of that anime)
2. how good a song is
3. or somewhere in between (as in my case) something like code geass op 1 - colors is a great song and at same time super nostalgic but like I had neon genesis evangelion's opening in my playlist even before watching anime coz its a great song same for black clover's black catcher,

my top 5 (no order) would probably be

1. Code Geass op 1
2. Link Click (any op 1/2/3)
3. Neon genesis Evangelion op
4. FMAB (op1/5)
5. angel beats op

you can check out my openings , endings and OSTs playlist, what good openings have I missed?

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4YcWQ2ntoK1sr7oFyd1gDv?si=4d57be380ce54c34

this is not a ranked playlist , but yeah top 50-100 songs are the ones that I like the most
I tend to not listen much ending songs but try most of openings and for soundtracks , the ones that stays with me the most are in this playlist for animes like mushoku tensei , made in abyss , bleach , naruto etc
