Ich befürchte, dass ich demnächst einen Termin beim Zahnarzt brauche. Leider bin ich super panisch und Ängstlich bei allem was mit Zahnärzten zu tun hat (wenn es nach mir ginge würde ich es noch weiter aufschieben, aaaaber die Schmerzen werden leider nicht besser 🥲)

Hat hier zufällig jemand gute Empfehlungen für mich? Am besten im Umkreis von Aachen (plus minus 10-15km wären auch okay)

Hallo, um 2:14 Uhr sind im Stadtteil Rothe Erde, Richtung Europaplatz, 4 Schüsse aus einer Handfeuerwaffe abgefeuert worden.

Der erste Schuss kam, die nächsten drei wurden bisschen später, aber in einer schnellen Reihe abgefeuert. Vögel flogen weg.

Mein alter PC, genauer gesagt mein Laptop, ist schon seit längerem kaputt. Der Bildschirm funktioniert nicht mehr und ich vermute auch, dass etwas mit der Software im Argen ist, da ich es auch nicht geschafft habe, einen anderen Bildschirm zu verbinden. Nun bin ich kein Tech-Experte und möchte nun doch noch ein paar alte Daten retten.

Kennt ihr in Aachen und Umgebung einen guten Reperaturservice, der mir die Daten sichern kann? Viele drehen einem da ja eine komplette Reperatur an oder wollen eine bloße Datensicherung nicht machen.

I need some advice about my old apartment in the M1 Immo student dorm on Vaalser Str.

My contract was fixed until 30 Sept 2026. Rent was 460 €, deposit 860 €. The rent includes internet. The contract says if you leave early, you pay a fee (200 to 600 €, depending on how much notice you give). It says you pay this fee even if you don't find a new tenant.

What happened:

• I moved in on 1 Oct 2025 and had no internet until February. M1 only took 20 € off the rent for this, and they did not tell me how they calculated it or which law they used.
• In April I tried to find a new tenant. M1 said they needed guarantors who live in Germany. They also wrote that the "fees" would be confirmed later.
• In May I wrote to M1 that I want to leave early, like the contract says, and pay the fee from my deposit.
• At the end of May I gave the apartment back to the responsible person at M1. I returned the keys and signed the handover protocol. They told me (only verbally) that I can pay the fees and I'm free.
• Now M1 says my contract ended 31 July. They want the rent for June and July (920 €), keep my whole deposit, and ask for 60 € more.

I thought I only had to pay the early-leaving fee, not two months of rent. I have no written proof of what they said, and I don't have a copy of the signed protocol.

Questions:

1. Did anyone have a similar problem with M1 Immo?
2. Does "pay the fees" sound like the early-leaving fee to you, or like rent?
3. I had no internet for about 4 months, even though it was included in the rent. Is 20 € a fair reduction?
4. Is it worth going to the Mieterverein for this?

ich bin im 2. Lehrjahr meiner ZFA-Ausbildung in einer oralchirurgischen Praxis und suche einen neuen Ausbildungsbetrieb in Aachen.

Ich habe bereits drei Praxen (2 Zahnarztpraxis und 1 Oralchirurgie Praxis) per E-Mail kontaktiert, aber leider keine Antwort bekommen.

Ist es schwierig, in Aachen die Praxis zu wechseln? Könnte es daran liegen, dass ich Ausländer bin?
Habt ihr Tipps für mich? Vielen Dank! :)
