I had one in my room back in the 2000s!

It feels strange to be the age now of real actual grown ups

IMO these four Need For Speed games represent the Golden Age of the series, as well as EA in general. Some of the NFS games afterwards were decent, but not nearly as good. What do you folks think?

Happy 25th anniversary to one of the coolest shows from our childhoods.

Pokémon Silver at age 5 (2000) was my first Pokémon game

Thought you guys might like this one lol

I thought about how different boomers grew up compared to us.

Will we drive as slow?

Will we read newspapers and watch soap operas? Knit?

Will we look and feel as old as they appear?

Will we have a sense of entitlement and be as prone to take a “Karen” meltdown?

Will we carry around mysterious candies only seen at the dollar store?

Will we prefer convertible vehicles?

Will we be able to keep up with technology?

Will we have that old people smell? Purchase awful perfumes and colognes?

Edit: And please no doom and gloom/world ending/never being able to retire/own a home posts 🫩. Let’s make this a fun discussion.

I was a bit guilty of it myself, lol.

LOL

THPS2 had such an awesome variety of tunes, I still have the majority of them downloaded on my phone.

Trainspotting cemented New Order as one of my favorite bands of all time, and introduced me to Underworld ( *very* surprised to hear "Dark and Long Train" sampled recently by pinkpantheress' "illegal" )

JSRF is just absolutely legendary, and deepened my love of hiphop, electronic, edm, etc.

Toonami and [adult swim] bumpers had awesome music that really got me into jungle and ambient dnb. Anime too of course: Cowboy Bebop got me into jazz, and I got hooked on Nujabes because of Samurai Champloo.

Share yours if ya got it.
