LEARN ZBRUSH

Hello everyone,
I am a product designer, generally i work with inventor, but my job require less "engineering" shapes, so i started with blender.

My colleague use ZBrush and her models are more better than mine with Blender, so, why don't learn it?

Is there any tutorial on youtube that you suggest? something like "donut from Blender Guru", i am starting from 0 for this software.

TRhank you all

Eyes and ears

Decided to go higher in resolution and start adding more to the sculpt.

I've worked a little on the eyes, the ears, nose, and the mouth.

Any feedback is welcome. I'm wondering if the eyes are correctly place and not too small, so I'm stopping here for today. I know the eyes looks bad, but i'm, focusing on the proportions and the placement for now.

New 3d artist career pivot from 2d

Hey everyone!

I’m a 22 year old 2d concept artist who recently fell in love with Zbrush to the point that I’ve decided to completely pivot to pursue a 3d art career. I’ve been using Zbrush for about a month now, and I was looking for some feedback on what to focus on for portfolio pieces/ what is most valued in the space when looking for a job.

I plan to get really into the skin texture details on the goblin with alphas in Zbrush, retopologize in blender, and hand paint in substance painter before I do a render in blender and in unreal. I think I’m pretty decent at the sculpting aspects just from my 2d art experience, but I would LOVE more advice on how to proceed most effectively and what sort of portfolio pieces to work on, as I’m entirely unfamiliar with the standards and workflow of 3d art due to being so new. Thank you everyone!!
