Like i’m very happy she’s not Captain Britain anymore because I feel like her character really regressed under that mantle. However, for Marvel to be so adamant to not give her, her codename back all because they wanna make money off of sexy ninja Psylocke is just very annoying, and still makes not a lick of narrative sense aside from the monetary value Kwannon as Psylocke brings in. On top of that out of all of the new codenames they could’ve given her they had to give her one that was extremely on the nose and not creative?? Regardless I’m gonna read it because I love Betsy and I’m happy she’s back but it’s hard to not roll my eyes every time I see this

Like Nocturne for example (I know she's not from 616, she's just an example).

I just really like when Logan and Scott are portrayed as having respect for each other and in generally, not being comically antagonistic...

The disorder humanizes Storm in a powerful way by connecting to her traumatic past, asserting not just that she’s vulnerable (and thus relatable) but also that she has a history, a lineage, and a tragedy behind her. Chris Claremont gave her a battle within her own mind as a way to show all that she had to endure while also being a mutant.

Also, symbolically, her claustrophobia contributes to her metaphorical engagement with the conflict between nature and civilization that she has, with story and visuals frequently emphasizing her need to fly high above the enclosed urban environments she’s been made to inhabit. This hits harder when you realize that her need to be in sync with the natural elements of our planet was her way of responding to her condition and a coping mechanism for her to take back control.

Small and intimate details like this are why so many people around the world are so connected to the X-Men as a group and their stories. They are not just outsiders because of their powers and what they can do but also due to their differences in perceiving and adapting to the world and being brave enough to step forward and not let their past or trauma define who they are, in my opinion. 🫡

I always loved their friendship especially this moment where Scott gets to relax and have some fun for once.

This might sound stupid, but I don’t remember who’s older ever being explicitly stated by anything. I think she’s older, but if I’m wrong, please correct me.

How different would the world be if mutants were real, will us as a society be accepted of these people's gifts, or would we treat them like freaks who need to be locked away in cages, and have the key throw away? Who am I kidding we all know the answer, we will be doomed as a society, sentinels will probably be in the building phase, in the same week the x-gene is discovered. Don't get me started with selfish people with mutant powers doing whatever they want, I don't need no telepath in my head controlling me, erasing my memories, or leaving me brain dead, but because there's a few bad apples doesn't mean that all mutants are evil.

I drew Cyclops while I was bored in class. the second photo is my original drawing before I uploaded it to my iPad, and the third is my reference.

Peach is such a treasure to marvel.

That is to say, when did he stop being "Mr. Beast," even when lecturing at universities, and fully became "Dr. Beast"?

I’m so happy to add to my comic collection, I’ve been really wanting to read Claremont’s X-Men, she knew I really wanted this and it’s funny because if I got her a Daredevil comic that she wanted too. Definition of To Be Loved Is To Be Seen.
