Hi, I have not played WOT in a very long time. I came back and been loving it, but I just realized recently that I had premium and this Gr.Tr. on my account. I was just wondering if every new wargaming account gives you this?

Just want a Daenerys Targaryen Commander who screams "DRACARYS!" when i kill an enemy( or burn him up). Or Jon Snow, etc...
And you can make an Tank for Special Battlepass which is called "Drogon" for example

I have played wot for like 12 years, but I always took a year or two off to take a breather. Last time I played was 2025 January-February.
I know the game is free and it takes no time to just jump back in, but was just curious about the current state of the game from those who actually play it consistently, preferably on the EU server.
So yeah, how is it? Is it enjoyable? Are op premiums dominate every match? Are there any new fun tech trees to grind? Are loot boxes a weekly thing now?

Hello everyone!
I am an EU player. Im planning to study abroad in Japan, but i kinda dont wanna start a new account because i love my account and also heard bad stuff about the asian server. Im wondering, is there anyone here who plays on EU from Asia? If so, how playable is it?

Yesterday evening I finished marking the new Doom special battle pass tank. In the end I finished with around 3.8k dpg in 127 battles. I regret playing on the weekend as dpg dropped from 4k and could have finished it faster.
This was a little bit unique mark for me as Im participating in a gunmark race for gold with one of my clanmates (he has 123 battles and at 92.5% MoE right now).
About the tank: Its overall very good but not without its own flaws (for me its like a 7.5/10 ht).
Pros: The gun is really good. U have great dpm and accuracy with decent pen. The salvo mode is useable especially at close range. To mobility is quite good for a ht and the turret armour is one of the best at it's tier. In salvo mode your turning speed nearly doubles and your backwards speed goes from 12>20 (without equipment) so you can get into cover faster than anybody expects you. You can sidescrape to a certain degree and you don't have track falps.
Cons: being as tall as a Maus or Type 5 with 7° of gundepression is a bad combination. You cannot use certain positions well (for ex. Westfield top peaks, Nordskar top hulldown position, Lakeville 1-2 line from the farming side near the rock). Also being generally huge makes you an easy target. When you peek the bottom of the turret is a weakspot (turret flaps) and with decent penetration you will be penned at the front or shoulders when sidescraping .
Playstyle: typical ht playstyle worked for me, just needs a little bit better positioning as usual cause of size issued. You can outdpm or outtrade most ht's in close range.
Equipment used: bounty hardening, turbo and vstab.
Extra story about last battle: I was at 94.94%. I got an Erlenberg match (tier 8-9). In my team I had unpainted Type4 ht and a 257 as teammates and in enemy...a platoon platoon of 8-9k wtr unicums with Concept 1b's and SPHT. I was so annoyed (already cursing this matchup) and Type 4 pushed into a crossfire from 6 tank and died instantly. I f-d off from ht side in that second and made a last stand in the city, did somehow 3.1k dmg and finally our td's hit some shots which gave me the combined score to do the 3mark (2-15 loss, 4 min battle but i dont care, got what i wanted <3).

Sadly i had to die once on both wins so i think i might have to farm those 240 keys instead lol, and to add to the difficulty im a touchpad player 😂

Well... i got myself penalized for disconnection during end of 3rd phase and beginning of 1st phase of Boss battle.
I reconnected and did what i could, but clearly to WG it's not enough

So literally what the title says. Ever since the update i get 2x DC per day. Usually in a light tank on prok while driving

Do you guys think that the camo skill is worth it on this tank? From my experience no matter what I do or where I go I always get spotted. I know that this tank is not necessarily a spotter but for a light tank it's just simply abysmal. I rather focused my equipment on the gun and mobility rather than active spotting or camo.

After 6 years of Mirny/Babylon events and all the lore that has been dropped, I'm surprised that WG introduced a vote on how the story ends for Babylon saga and the next event storyline will be based on the final result at the end of the event.
Personally I'm leaning on to Smith's choice to save Alex because I can feel the guilt of unable to save her on previous event due to being ordered by The Ferryman & now he got the chance to save her, although I haven't clicked it because I still want to think more about it.
Anyway, I'm curious on what's your reasoning behind the choice for the ending & this post might be a good chance to summarize the whole Mirny/Babylon saga
