Hi Woodland - I have been on the hunt for a group of people to play basketball on the weekends. I'm in my mid-40s and decent at best. I'm not looking for anything extremely competitive - just a couple hours per weekend to get some good running in and have some fun.

I need to make a police report for an accident. Not sure if its Woodland PD, county, or CHP. Anyone in the Woodland area know?

My grandson stopped at Costco in Woodland today on his way to the UC Davis game. When he came back out to the car, the front end was smashed (like radiator bent smashed) and a note was on the windshield. The driver only left a phone number and first name. When he called, the guy gave his last name, insurance name, but no policy number.

The amount of damage is pretty severe, considering it was in a Costco parking lot on a Saturday. The car was parked in back near the gas station when it happened. Costco's cameras don't go to that part of the lot. Nobody in the parking lot when he went out saw anything.

Has anyone had luck with a Belcro or other ultrasonic spider repeller? We are reluctant to sit on our wicker patio furniture because we find black widows in the frames and cushions.

Has anyone volunteered with the Yolo Food Bank? I'm interested but would like to have a better idea of what it's like/what's involved.

I'm looking for recommendations for stylists/salons that can provide a classy and polished shorter woman's haircut, including taking the time to texturize/blend well. Judging from IG photos there are a lot of gifted local stylists who seem to specialize in long hair coloring and styling, but I was just wondering if anyone has experience with those who are especially talented with cutting shorter hair really well. Was a perfect place to see Backrooms! I really appreciate having a theater right on Main.

Installed about 1000 sq ft of solid European white oak for a client. Finished staining and sealing yesterday. She calls me this morning upset bc some planks have darker grain lines and natural knots that apparently weren't visible on the tiny showroom sample.

Now she wants us to rip up the whole main floor and replace it with grain free engineered flooring at our expense. I explained from the start that natural wood is going to vary and she signed off on the material. We even have larger sample boards printed through Signs so customers get a better idea of what they're choosing

Atp would you just stick to the signed approval and let the customer be mad, or is there a better way to handle this?

I live near Gibson and Ashley and hear an automated voice come on speaker, “you are trespassing. Please remove yourself from property…” or something like that. It’s been going off a ton tonight and I’m curious if it’s a business or residence. Does anyone else hear this?? Buzz kill to be able to open windows because it’s cool outside but the speaker is poppin off tn.

Yes, I get it, I should be on “Zillow” or “apts.com”. Well they’re full of spam, and most of the “luxury apts” are just really crappy modern shoe boxes. So I thought I would try this, it’s a quasi-word of mouth.
