I tend to like drawing Wonder Woman and have always liked She-Ra. Have these two ever teamed up or even met?

Diana is Greek in the lore, so why is she fighting in American clothes with the Stars and Stripes?

I have read this subreddit's rules I'd pay so much money for early Nessie & Julia era Wonder Woman modernized

🥲

DC, Vanessa and her crew were practically made to be gen alpha. Or gen z. Come on. Gimme already.

Heck, I wish DC would do some Donna Troy, Cassie Sandsmark, or Nessie Kapatelis related middle grade or YA comics. Alas, DC only really uses their main core cast for their kid's and YA material. I have no clue how Cassandra Cain got her own YA comic.

I have read this subreddit's rules Suggestions Wanted: ~12 issues for a book club?

Hello denizens of Diana Town!

I'm a library worker and run a monthly comic-centric book club. Our group reads a gamut of stuff but I really like to dig into the nitty gritty of superhero runs, you know, the gems of our beloved medium that can be a little bit impenetrable for the the casual reader.

For April, I want to make the first vol of Absolute WW one half of our read and then I'd love to dip into something Silver or Bronze Age, as well. Thing is, I really don't think I've read anything Diana pre-New 52!

So, I'm asking you all: what's a good arc or two of classic Wonder Woman material appropriate for a book club? I would prefer Perez, for sure. Density of the material isn't a huge factor -- our group likes to dig into and navigate the continuity and whatnot.

I appreciate your suggestions. Big time bonus if the read is available via Hoopla

I have read this subreddit's rules Why is it so hard to find a single good Wonder Woman in-universe history timeline?

And no, I'm not talking about history based on publication. I mean a good linear history PAST Historia (aka before Wonder Woman's hero career) and her year one (I think of the start of George Perez's run and Greg Rucka's year one run during Rebirth when I say this BTW). When and HOW do any of the Wonder girls(kids if you include Bobby Barnes) come into the mix yes this is targetedat Donna Troy. Why the HELL do SOME writers have to change everything every damn time they pick up the book. Is this why DC hasn't made an animated series yet (I say this because I'm trying to properly put together a hypothetical pitch and concept)??? Is this what happens when a character is based off of Greek mythos, their stories get 14577444 versions too???? Someone help 😭

I have read this subreddit's rules If (and when) DC/WBs were to make a Wonder Woman cartoon (let's face it we need one ATP), what would your preferred timeline of the show be?

Would you want it to start years after Diana has already made a name for herself and expand on her mythos from there? Or start fresh as a reintroduction to newer and less experienced audiences? at what points would you introduce certain characters? villains? is it possible to get a TV show season with over 10 episodes anymore or is that unheard of nowdays 🥀 (personally, I might start from the start as a reintroduction while taking some elements from Absolute WW while making it magicial girl inspired but I'm torn on a lot of things so idk)

I have read this subreddit's rules What meaningful thing has Cheetah ever done to Diana?

She's supposed to be Wonder Woman's Arch Enemy. Joker, Luthor, Green Goblin...e.t.c, all these arch enemies have done some serious shit to the main heroes but I've tried looking up Cheetah's most meaningful crime and it's all just silly stuff.

If I'm being honest, I've always been very disappointed in Cheetah. I wish she was more of a threat to Diana. And no giving her more power doesn't equate to her being a threat, it's her actions that determine that. There are so many expendable Amazons, wouldn't it be cool if Cheetah went on a rampage on Themyscira. I remember back in Rebirth she wanted to kill Hera and failed miserably.

Or forget killing anyone. What if Cheetah threatened Diana's daughter and not in a way where Diana instantly retaliates and kills her but in a way where the audience is genuinely afraid Liz might die. (I don't know how many of you have seen Invincible but I'm basically picturing Angstrom breaking into Mark's house and threatening his mom and brother). I think that would do wonders (no pun intended) for Cheetah's threat factor.

Or maybe she can do some damage to Diana. What if Cheetah scratched Diana's face and left her scared for a few issues, maybe an year or two irl before the writers inevitably fix her up? (yes the bar is that low for Cheetah to do something that actually leaves an impact)

I know what you'll all say. "Cheetah doesn't actually hate Diana, she's sympathetic, she's nice, she's actually in love with Diana, she'd never harm her" WHY IS THAT THE CASE AND WHY DOES NO ONE ELSE HAVE AN ISSUE WITH IT???? Cheetah is literally her arch enemy.

I hope this post isn't breaking any rules, I don't believe it is but who knows? I just want to vent my frustrations with Cheetah and by extension Wonder Woman's rogues gallery. The only prominent villains who ever do meaningful stuff to her are Ares and Circe. Everyone else is in love with her and secretly super nice. I wish writers would let villains be villainous.
