The story unfolds in the early 16th century. The wealthy Belarusian lands—part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and situated at the crossroads of trade routes—face the threat of Tatar incursions. Crimean cavalry forces launch swift raids, reaching every single Belarusian city. The invaders storm fortresses, plunder, and carry the population off into slavery, leaving nothing but charred ruins in their wake.

Standing in the path of the Crimean Tatar army is a brave band of warriors and the respected citizens of Slutsk; the city's defense is led by Princess Anastasia Slutskaya following the death of her husband, Prince Semyon Olelkovich, in 1505.

We originally was making it for a 20 page contest but it kinda ballooned out and life set us back but we ended up recently finishing it for a different contest! Would love to for some feedback and to know what you all think!

It follows Dame Vivienne de Loisel and her Lance as they are tasked with protecting a bridge during a battle between two Dukes.

It looks like this was produced for GenCon, which is coming up in just a few months! There is a large collection of artists and authors that attend the convention and it is always a joy.

not really much to say. I'm sweet as a peach in real life and honestly kinda cowardly but i like to imagine myself as courageous and heroic and stoic.

Did a redraw of an older character of mine, Elizabeth. Based on a piece of English armor I got recently.

This is still a work in progress (namely need to make the helmet larger and shade the cape) but I am enjoying how it is turning out.

I created Elizabeth as a crusader style character about 11 years ago and most recently used her as a paladin in a short-lived DND campaign (Covid killed it). I recently acquired a piece of 14th century English armor, circa Hundred Years’ War, and it inspired me to revisit and redesign the character. Not sure what I will do with her at this point but it is nice to revisit an older character.

Last picture was her last art piece around 2022.
