Help! Missing Zoltan Card
I just finished the game. And I have 2 cards left to collect all the Gwent cards. One of them is Zoltan. I missed it at the beginning of White Orchard. From a previous post, it should be at the Hanged Man’s Tree location. When I went there I found a book. I couldn’t find the Zoltan card. Is there any other way to get it??
This issue is on the remastered version.

Discussion How much money should you plan to bring with you into NG+?
im guessing things are more expensive from the get go? is it wiser to sell diamonds/jewels and bring the cash with you, or keep all the expensive crafting supplies on hand?
I have aerondight, GM wolf armor, and the toussaint steel sword, so I didn’t have plans for new equipment anytime soon

Help! Am I doing something wrong?
On my first playthrough right now, and I'm loving it!
But I feel like I am not crafting stuff, doing all the alchemy and reading books properly. I got a bunch of books I looted from Vizima. Should I read them all? And how do I use potions and alchemy, crafting stuff, dismantling, repair and all that stuff?
Also I accidentally simulated my Witcher 2 save even though I never played it, and chose the 'Killed Letho' dialogue, apparently I will miss out on a quest? Will I be missing out on anything important.
Overall I want to enjoy this game blindly, so this is going to be my last post asking questions.

Discussion Phillipa Eilheart Hot Take
I can't be the only one who thinks Phillipa is the most attractive sorceress, in the games at least, I think Phillipa is a great character. I know she's absolutely crazy, but I just find her to be the best woman in the game, and I'm not saying best for Geralt, the best for Geralt is Roach. Seriously though, I like Phillipa more than Yen, Triss or any other romanceable characters in the game. I make this post knowing I'm likely going to be massively downvoted, but I just want to see if there's anyone who agrees with me.

Gwent Not even Vesemir can stop Gwent
5th playthrough and first on the remastered. Totally forgot this can happen. Though to be fair, there's no music playing which keeps the feeling solemn. This Gwent's for you, Old Man

Meme We all know Novigrad's low-poly pigeons, but Skellige's low-poly seabirds need some love too.
They also didn't get "improved" in the remaster

Holy shit. Dont mind me while I try to beat him for the 15th time 😅 Should I be using anything other than Black Blood and Swallow?

And ascended to another plane, I think… First time getting this far in the game and the entire scene had me cackling!

Witcher Unstoppable Gwent Deck for entire game + Easy Mode Toussaint Tourney
Hey people,
I'm sure these have been shared before, but just sharing an easy to find place for people who just want to win Gwent and not have to use their brains.
Use google to find out where all these cards are if you haven't unlocked them.
My unstoppable Gwent deck (literally haven't lost a round all game):
Team: Northern Realms
Leader: Foltest Siegemaster (not necessarily needed to win, but a good back up F you if things don't go your way)
Cards:
Melee: Geralt, Ciri, Triss, Mysterious Elf, Vernon Roche, John Natalis, Esterad, Stennis, Sigismund, Villentretenmerth
Range: Yennefer, Phillipa
Siege: Catapult x 2, Trebuchet x 2, Ballista x 2, Siege Tower, Dun Bannar Medic, Thaler, Siege Expert x 2
Special Cards: Decoy x 3
Basic strat is to shuffle your spies in and have some decoys. The low card number is the higher chance to get your spies out and in play. If you manage to get lucky, you should be able to spam 2-3 spies in the first round. If they also play spies and decoys just keep going until you've used all your spies. By the end of the first round they should pass once you've spent the entire time playing spies and decoys. You can either choose to then push over the top of them if you can with a Geralt / Ciri or one / two cards to win. If not, sacrifice the first round and just take the easy wins in the 2nd and 3rd round. Use Villentretenmerth for when they pull out 2 or 3 big melee cards and don't be afraid to decoy him / use a medic/yen to pull him back out again to use again. Usually if they win the first round and have less cards than you, they'll throw the second round pretty quickly. Don't be afraid to use low numbered cards like the siege experts to bait their surrender if they haven't already. And also when using your siege cards, only ever put one higher level one down and fill it with mid cards to bait the scorches. And save your leader ability till you need it end of second/third round depending on how you're going. I've used this deck the entire way through the entire game and honestly it's been that easy it's not even funny / fair.
The Skellige tourney I literally won using this deck on my first attempt with Skellige and no knowledge of how it even works:
Team: Skellige
Leader: Crach En Craite
Melee: Geralt, Ciri, Villentretenmerth, Oligerd, Mysterious Elf, Olaf, Cerys, Clan Dummond Shield x 3, Birna Bran, Kambi
Ranged: Yennefer, Oligerd, Gaunter O'Dimm: Darkness x 3, Olaf, Clan Dimum Pirate, Light Longship x 3
Siege: Gaunter O'Dimm, War Longship X 3
Special: Decoy x 3, Commanders Horn X 3
Honestly the idea of this deck was to make use of Cerys and Gaunter's ability to pull out entire decks, decoy them back, shuffle the graveyard to get them back out again in the next round but I played this without any synergy and still managed to win just by using basic bait and switch tactics. Try and use Kambi in the first round and you can lucky out and get 2 x Kambis. Honestly, I can't even explain how to use this deck that well because I put it together, played it once per round and won the tourney. Just adding this so people have a point where they can go - ok this worked for this guy lets try it.
Happy Gwenting!

Help! Help! Why is my game doing this? How can I fix this
As soon as I load in I have no weapons, no body, no armor, and my hair isn’t the same either. No matter what save I go to It’s the same on all. I’ve reset the game, then Xbox, then uninstalled the game and re installed them and still won’t fix it

Meme What do you get when two Nilfgaard Decks go head to head?
To answer my own question- you get a a Round 3 showdown. First playthrough on a Witcher game. Had a funny game against Ms. Marquise Serene in Passiflora, Novigrad. First two rounds involved both sides spamming spies, decoys to pick up each other spies, and Medics to re-use our spies lol. Final round was a bloodbath. My final spy only drew a single card bc i had gone through my entire deck haha.
This was on the 3rd highest difficulty i think. Not max, one below that. Starting to rlly enjoy Gwent :).

Gwent And I Took That Personally
I was prepared to just take the round and pass. Then this oaf played Triss. Now he’s choking to death on three pounds of steel.

Help! Is there a way to keep Novigrad peaceful?
I've noticed that after the main story, there are quite a lot of public executions, burned corpses and mass grave diggings in and around the city (such as at the site in front of the Southern Gate)
Can this be prevented somehow or will the city always end up like this, no matter what you do? I kinda wanna keep my Novigrad nice and peaceful.

Discussion Anyway to downgrade back to 4.0.4?
Ps5 downloaded the new update anyways after I paused it and I don't want to play remastered. I have the disc but thats gonna make me go back to 4.00 and I don't think my 4.0.4 saves will work. So stupid this isn't a separate app. Real cool that the stop auto updates on ps5 just doesn't work

Help! Cant Activate Black Pearl Quest
Im trying to activate the mission Black Pearl by talking to Nidas behind the Golden Sturgeon but every time I interact with him he just talks like a regular npc, babbling about Timeria and such. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?
