Everything Else RSVP date has passed, 65% of guests haven’t responded 🫩

126 guests invited, only 44 replies - truthfully I’m expecting like 65 guests to come, but pls just fill out the form 🫶

Just wanted to complain into the void before I go on the RSVP wrangling adventure.

P.S. for reference, we only included the wedding website for them to visit & rsvp, no QR code or physical RSVP cards, maybe I’m at fault for not providing more options… future brides, I would say have this be something you consider bc I certainly didn’t

Recap/Budget Reflections on what ended up being a $90k wedding

I thought it might be useful to share my reflections on my wedding that ended up costing $90k. Originally, we imagined our wedding would cost about $60k and then we adjusted to $75k. After adding it all up post-wedding, we realized we got up to $90k. Transparently, my partner and I had a budget in place but we knew we had the flexibility and privilege of being able to technically afford something beyond that. But spending even $60k on a wedding felt astronomical and insane to us at the time (we’re laughing now). It’s just really crazy, when planning a wedding, so many of the things people say will happen, really do end up happening — even if you thought it wouldn’t happen to you.

EDIT: the true reason for this budget gap is the full scale and scope. This type of gap doesn’t result from small decisions on little line items. We turned a fully raw outdoor space into, not just a venue, but a series of 3 areas that guests journeyed through throughout the day and night. It was a massive overhaul and we wanted to create an adventure that immersed people. We could not have done that, especially to our taste level, on $60k or even $75k. If we’d needed to stick to that number we would’ve just done one space on the property — fully rethought the scale.

Another important detail is that we did not have a wedding planner, just a friend helping out, and she did not have very accurate numbers on how much things would cost. If we had, we could have moved forward with more knowledge and understanding of what we’d have to concede/what type of wedding would actually fit into a $60k budget.

I found that with wedding planning, I was so excited about it all and so ready to dig in that I let certain things get away from me before understanding the necessary order of things. Having never been married before, you just go from the gut but it’s good to slow down and really assess. There is so much pressure about booking things nearly 1.5 years in advance and you feel like you just have to do it all ASAP and for me, that meant letting our friends and family know about our wedding date ASAP was the first thing to do. But, that meant we pulled the trigger on wedding invites a little too soon. Overall, the sage advice that the only way to truly cut down on a wedding budget is to reduce the number of guests is 100% true. We sent STDs to nearly 200 people, all of whom felt necessary and still there were people we couldn’t invite who we know would have expected/appreciated an invite. If I had really absorbed the person/budget relationship, I would have probably tried to cut that down to inviting 165. In the end, our final guest count was 175 which felt perfect and we felt surrounded by truly the most cherished people in our life.

Our wedding was insanely beautiful but also DIY in more ways than we really anticipated (we set up/broke down tables and chairs ourselves, had our friends DJ, got music EQ from friends for free, thrifted vases, etc.) in other ways, we did do ambitious and expensive things (sail cloth tent, on-site cooked food, a lot of glassware) and we still had, what we consider, a ridiculously expensive wedding. If we hadn’t had the support of our friends and family hooking stuff up for free and helping us set up our wedding would have been at least $120k. I know $90k isn’t a lot to some people but to us it is.

Overall, we have literally zero regrets about inviting as many people as we did. That being said, that lack of regret certainly derives from the face that we could afford such a huge overage. I’m making this post just to let others know that if you do not have that type of flexibility, think hard and slowwww down at the start of your planning process. Get as accurate of numbers as possible.

People say that all of the weddings you see online as inspo are $100k+ and they are mostly right. I honestly cannot imagine THAT many ways that our wedding could’ve been significantly cheaper beyond having fewer people and having a different tent. But it would’ve been awesome to know that sooner. Be kind to yourself, especially if this is your first time having a wedding!

EDIT: this post is not about regretting how much we spent. We are the type of people who care deeply for the people from across all eras of our life and who wanted to create a guest experience that made them feel inspired and cared for. It just would’ve been great to know that that type of wedding would cost closer to $100k than $60k going in.

Also, I’m not exactly sure why people are trying to argue that the wedding shouldn’t have been that expensive lol! It was! I don’t know what to tell you.

Tough Times Post-wedding: how do I stop dwelling on the things that didn’t go as planned?

• Upvotes

My husband and I got married about a month ago, and it truly was a wonderful day. I felt so blissfully happy and couldn’t stop smiling the entire day. Our guests told us they had a great time. They loved how personal our wedding was, and they loved the ceremony, the food and the party. And yet I keep circling back to a few things that didn’t go as planned:

  • My mother came to the bridal suite much earlier than we had agreed and started distracting the hair and makeup artist with questions about her own hair and makeup. As a result, I was ready later than planned and we had to rush to get me into my dress. My mother was supposed to help me, but she was very stressed, and that rubbed off on me. We never had a calm moment, and as I walked towards my fiancé for the first look, the dress still wasn’t sitting right.
  • Because getting ready ran late, there was no time for the bridal portraits I had scheduled, so I don’t have a single photo of just me in my dress. That makes me sad, because I spent a lot of time on my bridal look and I wish I had one photo with my dress perfectly laid out.
  • I had explicitly asked my mother and her partner not to be present at the first look. We really wanted that moment to be just for the two of us. When I arrived at the first look location, her partner was sitting there and immediately started taking photos of me with his phone. So he was the first man to see me, even before my fiancé did. The photographer later had to ask him to move out of the shot, because he was visible in the background during our first look.
  • We had also asked our guests not to take photos during the ceremony. My mother’s partner did so anyway, several times, and because he was in the front row, it was quite noticeable. Several guests commented on it, and I found it distracting too. Together with the first look, it made me feel that they hadn’t respected our wishes.
  • We hired an expensive photographer and really clicked with her, but on the day itself I missed being given direction. For example, I assumed she would check whether my train was lying nicely before taking a photo (I couldn’t do this myself because my train was long). In the first preview photos, the train is often crumpled in the frame, and there isn’t a single photo where my train is properly spread out with my veil over it. Perhaps I should have asked for it explicitly, but I genuinely thought it was a standard wedding shot. Also, when my hands were in an odd position or I was holding my fiancé in a way that looked unnatural, nobody pointed it out. I only noticed this afterwards, when I saw the photos.
  • During the ceremony we had our own officiant, but there was also a registrar from the municipality present to make sure everything was legally in order. She had no other role other than being present. When my fiancé went to walk in, she was standing in his way and didn’t move. He had to tell her three times that he wanted to get past, and in the end he simply walked around her, but she was blocking his path. Our guests noticed and commented on it afterwards.
  • We both walked in to music, and I wanted to wait for the right part of the song, but the registrar came up to me and told me to hurry up. I explained that I was waiting for the right moment in the music, but she wanted me to walk in straight away. So she went inside and announced, “Ladies and gentlemen, here comes the bride!” to make sure I would come in after all. I found this very disruptive. She broke my concentration, and as a result I felt rushed and have no memory at all of walking down the aisle towards my fiancé.
  • I hadn’t asked anyone to keep an eye on my train, so it was crumpled as I walked down the aisle and throughout the ceremony. Because of this, I feel as though my dress never got the chance to really shine.
  • We didn’t want many posed portraits, but a few mattered to us, such as with our witnesses, parents and siblings. My parents completely took over that part. They called over the people they wanted in the pictures, and my father handed the photographer his phone because he wanted photos on it too. Afterwards, he immediately shared them with family, before we had even received a single photo ourselves. This, too, made us feel that our boundaries weren’t respected.

Looking back on the day as a whole, I know these are small things. It was a beautiful day, everyone who mattered to us was there, and we got married, so nothing major went wrong. And yet these things keep bothering me, and I keep wondering whether I should have prepared better and been even more explicit about how we wanted things to go. At the same time, I know there is nothing to be done about it afterwards.

Can others relate to this, and if so, what can be done about it? How do you stop yourself from circling back to the things that didn’t go as planned, and how do you cope with that feeling? I feel stupid for focusing on these things, because what matters most is that I married the person I love. Yet I can’t seem to shake these feelings.

Recap/Budget Some Tips from a Recent Bride

Hey guys! I got married almost a month ago and I’d love to share some thoughts!!

  1. Brides- DO NOT UNDER EAT. I stopped eating early in the getting ready process cause I was nervous of throwing it up/having to use the bathroom mid ceremony 😅 (religious ceremony so it went for an hour). DO NOT DO THAT. I spent the hours in between the ceremony and reception throwing up from dehydration and sleeping in the ride to the reception. I had to force myself to do the wedding portraits. Thankfully I was able to stuff down enough gatorade and dry crackers to feel better by the reception but I’m so sad to have missed my afternoon tea and not enjoy the limo with my bridal party

  2. Splurge on what you love. My husband and I love live music so we got one of my favourite local bands. They were more expensive than my dress! We picked a cheap but good photographer and we were happy with that, we’re not big photo people. We also made sure we had a photobooth as we love them at weddings and had a limo for the bridal party to take us to the reception. While those were big costs, we have 0 regrets. I saved money using fake florals and borrowing decorations from friends to make up the costs

  3. Try and keep costs low for your bridal parties. This isn’t always something that can be helped for destination weddings and other things but they will be happier and you will be happier if you try and make their portions a priority. My girls bought their dress and makeup. I paid for hair and they wore whatever shoes they wanted. No costs for the engagement party. Whatever they spent on the hens weekend was their decision but it was so lowkey I’m sure it wasn’t much. They blessed me with such a beautiful bridal season and didn’t dig too much into their pockets!

  4. Try not to be swayed by people’s opinions. It’s your day. Take into account if other people and helping with costs but at the end of the day they are offering to pay for YOUR day. Maybe they can add some people to the guest list but don’t let them make big decoration decisions. Stand your ground baddies

  5. Remember you can’t talk to everyone. I’m a total extrovert and the idea of all my people in one room and not getting to talk to all of them was so stressful but I let go of that stress and just wandered around. Stopped where I wanted to- people understand more than you think

  6. It’s just one day. Although you know that, it goes so fast. Treasure the day but also make sure you’re ready for the marriage part afterwards. A 200k wedding cannot save a relationship. Work hard on yourselves and prepare for the future that comes after a very expensive day

Feel free to ask questions or other opinions!! Enjoy this season, it’s so special and the shortest!! ❤️

Decor/DIY DIY Table Numbers

Post image
3 Upvotes

I've been looking for used table numbers on Facebook Marketplace, but none of them stood out to me. I wanted to be unique, so ruminated a little bit and came up with a brilliant idea (I acknowledge it's been done before, but I thought of it on my own).

Talavera Tile Table Numbers

My venue has a Spanish architecture style with decorative tiles spread throughout the exterior. My plan is to DIY tiles like the ones photographed above, but custom design each one. I've started drafting the designs in Canva and my plan is to then sketch the designs in pencil onto the tiles and then paint and glaze. I've ordered all the supplies off Amazon for under $50 and they arrive within the next few days. I'll report back, but I'm super excited for this DIY because of the personal touch it adds. Will report back on the results when available !

Tough Times Officiant Regret

This is going to be a bit lengthy, but I need to vent. I’m confused, frustrated, and honestly want to cry? I tried shortening it, but I’m not good at that I suppose lol

We picked our officiant over a year ago. He was the first person we talked to, but I felt we clicked with him right away. He was flexible with our wants, charismatic, and even funny, but not overly so.

We are doing private readings, so initially I had 2 readings picked out, and a hand fasting. One of the readings coincidentally has a unity candle moment In it, which I was going to just have a candle there for symbolic purposes, but our officiant thought it would be a good idea to do an actual unity candle. I thought, sure why not.

At first I was worried we were doing too much. I told the officiant what I had in mind with all the readings and whatnot, and he assured me we can make it work. Especially since we weren’t doing vows. Eventually though, I did get rid of one of the readings. So to recap: one reading, which has a unity candle moment in it, and the hand fasting.

(Side note, at one point he did send me a gen ai image of a table set up. This was off putting to me, but he’s an older guy so I just brushed it off).

Anyway, fast forward to a few weeks ago. He sent us a script and while I liked how it sounded, I did have some concerns. It had hit me, he sent me a gen ai image, who’s to say he didn’t use ai to make the script? I cannot exactly say for sure, so again I let this go. But I was worried about some of the flow with the script. I was unsure where everything would go and how.

He had reached out a week after that asking if we needed anything. At first I told him we’re okay. But when he reached out a second time, I did mention how it would be helpful if he could print out that reading for us like he had offered. He left me on read.

Today, I told him I got that paper printed out so he wouldn’t have to worry about it. He responded back saying we needed to “have a chat” but didn’t know when a good time would be to call because he had five weddings to do between now and my wedding which is a week away. He sent me another message saying how he “has to have a good ceremony flow but has 3 things to squeeze into the ceremony”. That most couples have one and that we have three. He said he was going to send me the script again for me to look over. He doesn’t need “any verbiage” just to know how we want the flow to work because we have to include 3 additions.

So, I guess I’m just confused because when we discussed this initially, he seemed down for everything we talked about. If the flow wouldn’t work, I just wish he would have told me sooner. I would have adjusted before I settled on anything, and everything would be fine. Now my wedding is a week away and I have to rethink the whole ceremony, while also receiving what I’m perceiving to be idk attitude about it? Just a few weeks ago he seemed helpful and excited even. Now he seems a bit fed up…

Anyway, I told him that I was confused because the unity candle was included in the reading, so this really seemed one addition rather than two. (Not to mention, the whole unity candle thing was his idea…) But, I could scrap the reading and just do the hand fasting. I explained the hand fasting was more important to me, and I agreed that the flow was important, too. I also thanked him for being patient and flexible with me, as I have only attended one wedding a year ago and was unsure how ceremony’s should truly go. (Something I expressed to him when we talked a year ago…) I said I would talk to my fiancé about it and get back him tomorrow. He left me on read.

I fear it’s too late for a new officiant and we just have to make this work. But I am so bummed out about how this turned out to be so close to the wedding…

Recap/Budget Bride with social anxiety

I got married two weeks ago, and as someone who struggles pretty badly with social anxiety, I just want to give some advice to other shy brides. IT WAS AMAZING, truly the best day ever. I wish I spent less time worrying and being anxious the day of and just tried to enjoy the moment more. Looking back everything I worried about wasn’t even a reality. I drank way too much to numb the anxious feeling and ended up not remembering the end very well. These are my only regrets! I don’t know, I just want to give some encouragement. Just try to be present, it’ll all work out! Everyone really is there to support you.

Vendors/Venue Catering Tip - I think I might have paid way too much?

USA, Southeast region. All-inclusive farm-style venue, including catering. We're two weeks out.

The catering bill listed:

  • $11021 - Cost of food and drinks (displayed in the # of payments we've made)
  • $2984 - Catering Labor Cost (Servers, Bartenders, Kitchen Staff)
  • Option to tip 22%, 20%, 18%, 15%, Custom, or not add this to the total
  • $1983 - I added this tip

We always tip when we are at normal restaurants, usually around 20% of our total bill, depending on service. I previously worked in restaurants and bars and consider this a standard part of eating out. It's fine if you don't agree, I'm not here to debate whatever you want to pay your regular servers, but that's typically the custom in the USA and we adhere to that.

I was in a rush today and needed to pay the bill due today before I left on a short trip. I didn't think anything of a bill that listed food + labor + tip separately. I assumed that "labor cost" covered the wages of people. As I fully know, often service staff are paid very little for their work and rely on tips as their actual wages.

So of course I just dumped an 18% tip on top of that - $1983. This wasn't a "trick" or "hidden fee" and was given plainly as an option to select and pay. I quickly paid and moved on..........before googling who else I need to tip that I may have forgotten.

It sounds like this gratuity is....probably incredibly generous and not expected at all for this staff? Normally I would just kick myself and let it go, but I tipped TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS because I was pretty sure it was customary and expected as it would be in a restaurant and for other wedding vendors.

How we feeling about that?

  • Let it go because it is a perfectly normal tip and I'm being dumb by second-guessing it?
  • Let it go and eat shit because I paid it and people deserve extra tips if I'm gonna be a dumb bitch anyway?
  • Talk to the venue and make it clear that I didn't understand that this service fee wasn't necessary or customary, and that yeah, two thousand extra dollars is...a lot. See if I can reverse a fee or a portion of that fee?

My wedding is about 7 months out and I'm still deciding on a dress!

I keep going back and forth on which one to choose, so much so that I'm past the deadline I gave myself to decide, I'm truly torn.

I thought I'd know once I tried them back on but even on the second fitting I really really struggled.

I'm not looking for Reddit to decide my dress necessarily, just need some external input before I go mad 😩

Recap/Budget Wedding Hindsight is 20/20

TL;DR - if I could do it again, I would elope. 😮‍💨 But it was great & here’s what I learned!

Our wedding was in August and it was PHENOMENAL. Here’s a breakdown of the day and a few key things I learned I want to share:

Original budget: $50,000
Total Est Spend: $85,000
Guest Count: 110
No-Shows: 5
Location: PNW

Wedding bighlights included:
-Live band (I sing backing vocals, they played as a gift)
-Live watercolor portraits
-Gondola ride
-6’ Italian crepe paper flowers, handmade
-Photobooth w/ the DJ
-After-the-Tone “guestbook” phone

The whole thing was wildflower themed, since we were in a national park, and included hand-drawn flower-themed tables (instead of number) and table seating charts, and our florist ran a pick-your-own-wildflower station for guests to basically choose their own table arrangements. It all came together so well, it felt like magic!

Here are the things, though, that I would do differently and recommend to other brides:

•Hire a GOOD planner, and do it FIRST!
I cannot even begin to list the issues we had with our venue. I realized too late in the game our planner could have steered us with her expertise and relationships, and helped negotiate contracts. She basically saved our wedding, and was work every penny; if I had a do-over, I have no doubt hiring her and paying her more would have saved me money and time and heartache in the long run.

•Don’t choose a Bridal Party based on loyalty; base it on trust, reliability, and worth.
I had a hard time picking mine; if I had to do it again, I wouldn’t have one. If I had one, I would choose less (3-4 max) and I would base it on who I could rely on showing up the way I need them to. I made decisions based on loyalty (and who I knew longest) out of guilt and it was a mistake. People will show up as who they are, not as who you hoped they’d be when you need them most. If you need more info here, DM me. I got stories.

•Before you choose a venue, check the hotel situation.
We got married on a mountain (beautiful, right?) and it had limited hotel stock. THE VENUE LIED TO US and said their entire stock was full and had no issues; meanwhile, one place was going bankrupt and ended up getting bought out, cancelling our hotel plans (like, ours - the bride and groom the night of the wedding 🫠) and cancelling our shuttle. This is where our planner leveraged her social capital, stepped in and saved our wedding. I don’t think things would have worked out without her. Most weddings include travel for some these days, and the stock was so dry the prices caused some guests not to come. This one is key.

•THE WEDDING INDUSTRY IS DISGUSTING. FIGHT BACK ON PRICES. This one is huge. People will give you all kinds of sob stories about why their hard work deserves cost, and they will threaten to drop your date if you try to negotiate price; the markup on wedding expenses is at like 200% compared to pre-pandemic (400% in some cases). I have a tendency to cultivate trust, and so a lot of my vendors slipped and joked that they work weddings because they can make a bigger profit. They are profiting off of our emotions, and desperation, while inflaming the anxiety that a wedding day has to be “perfect” (spoiler alert; it never is.) When they don’t negotiate fair prices, drop them and quote them on public reviews. Steal thunder from anyone who gets into this business to make a quick buck. I did this to a cake vendor who was egregious and when she tried to undermine me in comments, I showed up with receipts. We CANNOT tolerate capitalist pigs in this business. It IS the reason weddings cost so much. It is all wedding markup.

•Decide what matters most BEFORE you plan so you know where to spend and where to cut; max, a top 5 list.
At times I put my husband in awkward positions because everything felt important to me. Eventually we realized I had to let some things go to cut costs, and it was a huge relief when I did! Again, our planner (who aligned with our vision, but most importantly our values) would have been better to have earlier in the process here. By the end she was my #1 priority expense wise.

•Get at least 3 quotes and interviews for every major expense (photo, venue, planner, music, food, dress) and EVALUATE WITH A RUBRIC.
One of our top criteria was vibe; yup, you read me right! We wanted to be surrounded by humans who shared our values and who we’d want to hang with. This PAID DIVIDENDS on wedding day because not only did we have a great time, but our guests raved about ALL our vendors, AND they all made friends amongst each other! Connection is what makes our life special, so it had to be a #1 criteria in our vendors. Choose criteria that are important to you as a couple (or polycule!) and it will make all the diff.

@ me with Qs!

Decor/DIY Examples of 6-8k floral budgets?

I've seen a lot of the photos of big budget weddings with 20k+ floral budgets, and I've looked at a lot of posts with DIY or very budget flowers. Can anyone share some examples from their wedding or others in more of this mid-tier budget range? How many flowers are you actually getting? Has anyone done a chuppah and full centerpieces (not bud vases) within this budget?

Dress/Attire Wedding dress help - wildflower themed gowns?

I have an image in my head of what I'm looking for, but can't seem to find it from any reputable sites.

I'm looking for a mostly white, A-line dress with delicate colored floral designs.

I couldn't find the source of the first image and the only dresses I've found that I like for sale are on sites that are recommended against, like Ms. Grace (see 2nd pic) and Dorris.

I like some of the veils/capes on Etsy that are hand embroidered, but I don't like the idea of buying a non-refundable dress without trying it on first.

Would appreciate any help or leads, as I've been going around in circles for a while now.

Hoping to stay below 1200 USD.

has anyone done a morning wedding? me and my fiance are thinking about doing a small morning wedding at our church with a night to ourselves at the hotel, we didn’t wanna pay the outrageous venue prices which is why we chose our church
-what food options did you have
-how did you incorporate speeches and first dance since there was no party
-anything else you recommend?
Edit to say, we plan to have a small brunch reception and cake in fellowship hall!!

Dress/Attire How much do we think it would cost to make an upcycled cathedral veil?

Okay, so I found my dress and I love it and I know it’s the dress but the only one sad thing about it was that it didn’t have a train.

I had a brain blast and it is contingent on many factors: my mom agreeing. (And my grandma agreeing but that’s not as important)

I had the idea that I could upcycle her dress if she was willing to make a cathedral length veil so I could have a train and my God—that would be so special it being made out of my mom’s wedding dress. Now, I’m going to ask my grandmother first if she would like to do that (pending mom’s approval) and I’m sure she would not take any payment for it.

If she isn’t able to or doesn’t feel like she couldn’t it well, how much do you think that would cost to make? I truly know nothing fashion/wedding alternation wise.
I’m assuming cheaper if I can find someone local to deliver the dress to and more expensive if it needs shipped but does anyone have any ideas so I can present this to my mom? (I have no idea if she’ll be like “hell yeah, that would be beautiful.” Or “hell no you’re not cutting up my wedding dress” lmao)

Thank you 💕

Everything Else Is it unromantic to courthouse wedding early for tax and insurance purposes?

Basically what the description says. My fiance (M31) and I (F27) got engaged May 2026 and are trying to scramble to put together a Nov/Dec 2027 wedding. I don’t have health insurance, haven’t in a few years. He is excited for the tax benefits of being married. (He’s paid more in taxes in the last few years than I have made). All of this will be handled once we’re married obviously, but is the logistic benefit of speeding it up worth a sort of secret or quiet elopement in the meantime?

It would also put me under a bit less pressure to try to race to put together a wedding plan while being a full-time student and employee. Because at least I would know we have already made this commitment to each other…

For context: We have been together 4 years, have lived together for most of it, he has helped to support me through school, etc.

Everything Else Wedding coordinator personality

Hi all!!

So I hired a partial planner about two months ago for our April 2027 wedding. When we hired her we had almost all of our vendors booked so I knew she wouldn’t be involved there. Her small company handles florals, decor, coordinating, invites/signs and photography.

She’s been very responsive (we’ve had two meetings: one at venue and one separately and talk about every other week with small texts in between). I love the decor and floral and signage. Still trying to decide on photography (they are doing our engagement photos next week so that should help a lot).

My issue is her personality. She is a lot- talks quite a bit including about her personal life (and drama in it) and I’m just usually overall exhausted after spending more than a couple hours with her. How important is personally meshing since she will be there the entire wedding day?

She seems to really get the vision we want for the wedding and is on top of things so does that make up for just the clashing personality?

Relationships/Family MOH & bridesmaid stress with 3 little sisters

Hi everyone. I got engaged a few months ago and want to ask my sisters/friends to be in my bridal party soon. My problem is I have 3 little “half” sisters (I hate calling them half, they’re my SISTERS!! but it’s relevant to the story)

All 3 of them are in high school (I am oldest by 8 years). One of them (age 16) I shared a household with. The other two I saw less but still often. I am closest with the 2 oldest (ages 16 & 17) and the youngest (age 14) and I have grown closer over the last year.

My conundrum: I don’t want all 3 to be my MOH. It feels less special that way. Instead, I was thinking the sister I lived with to be the MOH, the age 17 to be my something blue, but my third sister I am not sure!

The two sisters I didn’t live with could both be my something blue (dress to be blue to signify) but I would rather they each l have unique special parts. Any ideas? Creative as possible!! I am all for untraditional anything.

I also have read some people say to let them be the witness, ring bearer, etc. but that’s not as special in my opinion. I don’t know, maybe it is. I have little cousins for the kiddy roles.

We won’t be getting married for at least 1.5-2yrs so I have time, I am just so excited!

I am so afraid of hurting feelings. Any advice is welcome!! Thank you :)

(I will have 3 friends as bridesmaids as well)
