Did you lose your clear retainer outside the Robarts library? I found one near the bike area, close to St George and Harbord st. I have put it in a white, labelled envelope and dropped it off at the Robarts lost and found bin. First floor near the elevators.
I know how expensive these can be so I hope it gets reunited with its teeth.
PS: I washed my hands thoroughly after dropping it off!

Yup, can’t believe I’m saying this, but I miss Algoma. Ik what you’re probably thinking, that I miss the parties or the social scene at Algoma, but that’s far from the truth.
recently started my master’s program at the St. George campus, and I’m finding it hard to connect with people in my program. The people I actually see myself becoming friends with outside of the classroom are all commuters.
think what I really miss is the little things, like having genuine conversations, deciding to hang out after class, or making last-minute plans with people. A college town like St. Sault Marie almost forced a sense of community on me, if that makes sense. I’m someone who really values community, getting to know the people around me, and being able to share parts of myself with them, too!
guess I never realized how lonely I could feel in a big city. If any of you have been in the same boat, some words of advice would be appreciated :)

Hey! I'm a second year UTSG student and I have never joined any club in UofT the past year I was here. I'd say I'm pretty studious, but I'm also pretty social to all of my friends and people I meet. However, I've never been in a club before and missed the club fair the past two years so I was wondering if its too late to join stuff now. I'm in Vic asw so maybe if that helps.
Mainly I want to make some friends that I get to see more outside of classtime/hangouts and also maybe pad my resume (this is obviously not the focus). IDK i feel like many clubs from what I hear are cliquey and hard to join if you don't know people in it...

I (18F) am a first-year undergraduate student and want to study comp science, and I really want to start going to the gym consistently, but I feel like I’m always putting it off. Honestly, going alone can be a little intimidating sometimes 😭. I feel like having someone to go with would motivate me to actually show up and make working out more fun!
I’m looking for another girl who wants to build a routine together, encourage each other, and just make the gym feel less intimidating. I’d also love to meet other girls and hopefully make some new friends along the way. 💕

Hey there guys. I’m a high school student looking towards attending UofT. I want to double major in International Relations and some sort of Econ, maybe an HBA Econ major. I want to know from anyone who has experience in these, can I know how much math and social studies are in these classes, and in what ways:
HBSc Financial Economics specialist
HBA Economics major/specialist

I have a bone to pick with one of my courses because genuinely why give us 24 key terms and then say you're testing us on only TWO of them but only putting SIX out of the TWENTY FOUR on the midterm? A good answer has to be 1.5 pages long for a short answer..? I genuinely don't even know how to study for this because on top of that, there's 5 essay questions that we pick one from, and only two will be on the midterm. Again, I feel like this is such a dumb way of testing students. I just feel so stuck because I go to lectures, but there's no possible way of retaining all of this information without feeling SO stressed.

Was super confident going in after seeing the first 2 questions but I got humbled real quick after LMAO, questions 4 and 5 true false were diabolical if you guessed wrong you ended up losing marks, was wondering how people found it hopefully he curves

I have provincial student loans that still have not yet landed. I was able to defer my fall fees to September 30th, with charges starting on the 15th.
I really did not want to have to pay out of pocket upfront, and wasnt really able to.
I waited until Oct 13 to see if the loans would be processed, which they werent, then I paid the bill normally. Apparently the payment didnt go through to acorn until the 16th, so I'm being charged.
Is there anyway that I can have this reduced or waived?
It's not like I just being late for the sake of it, or negligent or whatever. This was an extenuating circumstance where the method that I was supposed to have pay for my school did not pull through.
Eng btw

Midterm is on Wednesday morning. I’ve been practicing the questions posted on the HMB302 website and going through all the lecture slides. Just kinda nervous for the drawing format and labelling, he wants lots of specificity. The format is very vague and they didn’t show us any model answers or examples for an A level answer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏🙏🙏

I suddenly got sick and havent been able to study for the bio230 midterm and idk if im gonna be better in time to study for it. does anyone know if i do miss it due to sickness do i get to retake it later or are the marks going to be shifted to the final. if the marks are going to be shifted to the final i would rather thug it out and take it anyways since its just multiple choice but if i could take it at a later time i would rather do that.

Did anyone happen to find or see a black oversized jacket slinging around on a chair at Robarts 2nd floor or hanging in the womens bathroom💔I went back to check all the places I could’ve left it and it wasn’t there, neither was it in the lost and found😔
Does this indicate that it’s not available next sem?

Please comment study spots or libraries! I’m open to all places in our campus and just need a place to camp at for like 2:30 to study for a mid term.
Thank you
