It wasn't really at the frat party, but he took me from there to his car and assaulted me. And when I was trying to walk home, extremely drunk, another man assaulted me. I'm not making it up, I'm just having a lot of trouble remebering because I was so drunk.

If you're a girl and you go to frat parties or even go out at all, please please be safe and always be with your friends. I was naive coming to live in this city for the first time and letting this happen to me. It's ruined my life and I am doing so much worse in my classes than I would've, even though I try so hard to ignore it.

It was my dream to go to uoft and I worked so hard to get here, on school and on my mental health after previous traumatic experiences, and I'm just really really sad that I'm failing because of this. I might have to change my whole life goal, because the career path I want is not possible with the way things are going now.

It was always my dream to go to uoft since I always adored the prestigiousness and the beauty/location of the campus. I was lucky enough to have a really solid friend group in high school, but we ended up all splitting off to different unis for university. I'm in my third year now, and every year I have sat and watched my friends at other unis form new fun friend groups, create lifelong memories, and get actually high gpas. I, on the other hand, have maybe one good friend I've made and my "lifelong memories" are sitting in Robarts for 16 hours each day during exam season (which is all the time), and let's not even talk about my gpa...

Each year I've hoped that the next year would be better, but it truly hasn't. I guess it's hitting extra hard this year because it's the second year in a row where I've had double midterms on the monday after halloweekend, and all of my friends are going to Queens to party while ILL BE STUCK AT ROBARTS AGAIN!!

I've found myself daydreaming about how much happier I'd be if I went to any other university (not waterloo) more and more often these days, even though this is supposed to be my "dream school." Does anyone else feel this way and does it ever actually get better? 😭

I’m in 2nd year but next year I want to start a minor in bioengineering. I thought this would be great and easy to enrol in because of how many electives we get but it’s like a puzzle with this kernel a b depth technical stuff. And now I’m finding out only one fce can count towards both electrical engineering and the minor. So how would anyone even be able to take the courses for the minor?

just got an email saying that lab 1 report grades were posted, but when i look on marcus it says "The due date for this assignment has passed and you are now in a penalty period. You can make changes to your submission, but will have 50.0% of the assignment total deducted from the final grade on this assignment."

i got a two day extension for the lab and submitted it on time. anyone know why it says this AND i cant see my grade?

From the degree explorer, I have taken all courses needed to satisfy program requirement.

Is there anything else to do? Do I need to enroll for graduation or it's automatically assigned?

I just want to make sure I won't miss anything and fail to graduate because of unawareness.

It’s been on my mind for some time, and it’s something I really can‘t just understand. Are thefts at U of T done by other students or by people entirely not affiliated with U of T (like some random guy walking into the building for the very goal of stealing).

It wouldn’t make sense because it’s weird for a student paying $7,000 a semester to just walk around for petty theft, but there’s been thefts at Robarts too so maybe it really is the students.

Hello everyone. I recently applied to UofT and just got the email that I can now access the application portal. Problem is, every time I try loading the website, whether I press the link from the email or search it up in Google, it just won't load.
