"I mean, a lot of their dollars from Paris come from tourists."

France doesn't use dollars, it uses Euros. Also, even if tourists used the currency from their home countries when traveling, it wouldn't all be dollars, as tourists come from all over the world.

Been on the hunt for these for a few days now - finally found some in the wild.

This on a British newspaper FB post (yes, I know it’s the express - please forgive me)

How to become a parody of yourself whilst commenting on a satirical post

I’m just over American exceptionalism. I use to just think it was kinda funny, now I see it as a nation of wilfully ignorant children.

While on a discussion about the themes of Primetime, I saw this person (green) saying people go to the movies because they can’t read. Which IMO is very silly.
Then he swung back with some US literacy “stats.” (No sources of course)
I was under the impression that Primetime was available to watch in theatres across the world, and that movies in general were in nearly every country as a form of entertainment. But I guess the average movie goer = Only Americans.

Good to know ig

"So I’m in the Netherlands right, and every time I talk to somebody I’m like you I wonder if they know I’m American but I just realise no they f***ing do. I have an American accent, like here I have an accent!! I’ve never like thought about that but like I have an accent here and that’s blowing my f***ing mind! so they know, they gotta know like I’m not sneaky bro"

Literally in the description of the video it said it was in Nigeria

He even has an Irish flag next to his name!

According to the comments, it’s in Asia, possibly South Korea.

Just to give more context to the story: the YouTuber in question is *also* Japanese. No American was involved or harmed in the making of this news article... except for maybe Phillip.

I know I shouldn't expect any better from an online alcoholic Nostradamus, but by the time Auckland wakes up on Sunday morning it'll still be lunchtime on Saturday in DC. Or is there a themepark somewhere in the states called Western World that I'm unaware of? Cos I'm pretty sure NZ and Aus are western countries. Got a lot of white people here.
