Hi everyone! It’s been fun seeing the Charlie x Carlisle revival, but I wanted to bring something to everyone’s attention. The most popular work (most hits, kudos, etc) on AO3 for them seems like it was written largely by an AI/LLM. Unfortunately I’ve had to use LLMs for my job before, so I’m familiar with how they write. Just a quick search on a few typical AI patterns and phrases like “slow, deliberate”, “a man who”, “it wasn’t X, it was Y” turned up hundreds of results, some overlapping or using the same phrases across chapters.

Obviously, AI was trained off of human writing, and a handful of “AI phrases” shouldn’t immediately implicate a fic, but a work with this many tells should definitely raise red flags. (I think it’s pretty clear just from reading it). I’m not saying you can’t enjoy AI-written work either, I just think it should be tagged and I think a lot of people don’t realize.

Anyone else who’s read this fic, I’m really curious for if you noticed and what you think! I talked to a friend about it who wasn’t sure but said that re-reading parts of it she saw it too. I like this pairing though, so other recommendations are welcome!

Things I like:
-all human
-complete
-longer fics
-dirty talking Edward
-believable build up and plot

Things I don't like:
-cruel Edward
-full bdsm (dominant or rough Edward is ok)
-pregnancy trope (as in Edward finds out he's a dad years later)
-incredibly slow burn

I'm currently in a big fixation between these two universes. Can you share fanfics for this crossover? Pairings don't matter as long as the main character is Harry himself. I also have a question: I'm reading various fanfics for this crossover (most often for the Jasper/Harry ship), and they often state that a vampire can't infect a wizard, or that a wizard can get infected but then loses their magic and becomes a vampire. As far as I remember, that's non-canon information, so tell me your theories (^o^;)

Ok, I'm looking for a story, and I'm sorry I don't remember which wolf Bella is with, but two of the Cullen's return years later to check on Bella, they watch from the trees, she's at Charlie's house, she is a mother and is married to one of the wolves. It was originally a one shot that the author expanded into a full story. I read it on fanfiction.net years ago.

I feel like it was Jasper and Rosalie checking on her, and she was with either Paul or Sam.

Update 10/16/2026 : I now have a name for this series, I’m calling it The Moonwake Chronicles. Simple but I like it that way since I could not come up with any other name.

Hello r/TwilightFanfic. I don’t normally use Reddit but I decided to make this acc to hopefully get some more traction on what started out as a joke to parody twilight turned serious yet still meta commentary filled passion project. It’s not perfect but it’s been heck of a fun write so far.

I don’t have a name for this series yet but I’ve already finished the first fic: Twilight: Moonwake (around 75000 words) with Bella being paired with a merfolk with my own Twilight-ified spin on the formula. Currently I’m working on the second story with plans for a third and maybe a few spinoffs.
