Positivity What's been giving you gender euphoria, joy, or a little extra spark this week? | Weekly Positivity Thread

There's something uniquely powerful about the moments when we feel seen, affirmed, or simply at home in ourselves. Maybe it was something small, a stranger using the right pronouns without hesitation, catching your reflection and smiling, or finally trying that hairstyle you've been nervous about. Maybe it was something big, a milestone in your transition, a conversation that made you feel understood, or a quiet moment where everything just clicked.

This is our space to collect those moments. Share your euphoria, your happiness, your quiet victories and loud celebrations. Whether it's gender-related or just something that made your week better, we want to hear it.

As always, please keep our community rules in mind and remember that this is a space for celebration, not comparison. Your joy doesn't diminish anyone else's, and every victory, no matter how small it might feel, deserves to be witnessed.

So, what's been making your heart feel a little lighter this week?

Advice needed Stop breasts from growing + reduction

hello everybody. I am an FTM 15 year old transgender. I want to ask me how to stop my breasts growing and possibly reduce the size too. Just by looking at it, it gives me extreme gender dysphoria.
I would love to hear your guys’ advice and story. Thank you!
(just note that my parents are extremely transphobic and unsupportive)

Discussion [19F] Looking for genuine connections, close friends, or maybe something more 💜

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I'm a 19-year-old girl from Italy, and honestly, I'm not entirely sure how to write one of these posts. I guess I'm just hoping to meet some people I can genuinely connect with.

Lately, I've been feeling a little lost. Sometimes it feels like everyone else is figuring out their lives, finding their people, and becoming who they want to be, while I'm still trying to figure out where I belong. I want to find people I can be myself around, without feeling like I have to hide parts of who I am or pretend to be someone I'm not.

I'm a trans girl, and being able to feel comfortable, accepted, and understood for who I am means a lot to me. I'd love to meet people who are kind, open-minded, and willing to build a connection that goes beyond small talk.

As for my interests, I'm really into gaming, anime, fantasy worlds, and all things nerdy. I love the idea of getting lost in a good game or story, talking about fictional characters for hours, sharing music, or just spending an evening playing something together. I also have a soft spot for cute aesthetics, cosplay, and creative projects, even though I'm still figuring out what I want to do with my life.

Personality-wise, I'm pretty shy at first, but there's a lot going on in my head once I feel comfortable with someone. I can be a little chaotic, overthink things more than I probably should, and get attached to the little things that make a connection feel special. I'm someone who wants to talk about both the silly, meaningless stuff and the deeper things we don't always get to share with everyone.

What I'm really looking for is a genuine connection. I'd love to make close friends, have someone to talk to every day, share our interests, support each other through difficult moments, and slowly become an important part of each other's lives.

And, if we happen to click romantically, I'm open to the possibility of finding a partner, too. I'm not expecting anything to happen overnight, and I don't want to force a relationship. I'd rather start by getting to know someone and see where things go naturally.

I guess, deep down, I just want to find my people. People who make the world feel a little less lonely, who are excited to hear from me, and around whom I can finally feel like I'm allowed to be completely myself.

If any of this resonates with you, feel free to send me a message! Tell me a little about yourself, what you enjoy, or even something random that's been on your mind lately. You don't need to come up with the perfect introduction.

I'd love to hear from you. 💜

Advice needed I am female and I am so uncomfortable with my gender I can't even step outside

To be honest i dont have any friends and if i did i doubt i would be able to tell them about this so that may be part of the issue is not being able to tell people my discomfort but i think i may have gender dysphoria but i dont want to say i do if its all in my head but i feel very uncomfortable with being a "girl" ive always been a “tomboy” but its gotten to a point where i cringe when someone calls me a girl or uses she/her and i avoid leaving my home because i dont want people to perceive me as a girl (i do school at home so this is easy for me) if anyone has advice id appreciate it

Question How do I come out to my parents (again)?

I, 14 mtf from Brazil, have tried to come out to my mother before, but she said she thinks "trans people are just in a state of mental confusion". This was 1 or 2 years ago. I decided to act like I was just confused about my gender and re-enter the closet. She also talked in a quite transphobic manner about Duda Salabert (a major transfem Brazilian politician).

Since then, I have explained to her that being is an actual thing that people experience, not just confusion, or liking to cross-dress.

I wish to get out of this god forsaken country to get puberty blockers and/or HRT. I have Italian citizenship, which makes it easier. However, we are in a tense situation, lots of fighting, they are emotionally quite immature for parents, and we are planning to move homes already, so it'll probably be in two years if we do move elsewhere. I was thinking Germany.

Advice needed Am I trans or confused?

So I’m 14 afab and I’ve been really confused about my gender. I’ve been uncomfortable with my voice and body and hight but Ik all of that can just be normal with puberty (even though I went through that at 10-11) and all that but I just don’t know if it’s normal or a gender/sex disconnect thing. I feel weird about knowing I have a uterus inside of me, because when i remember or think about it it makes me uncomfortable and wish I could rip it out but I don’t know if that’s just something i shouldn’t think about and all girls feel weird about. I really wish i was born a boy but I know that’s not possible, but I don’t know if I’d be happy transitioning. I know testosterone isn’t required but I want some of the affects without others. I don’t want my voice to be this high so I would like it getting deeper by T I would want the fat redistribution, but I  don’t know if I could handle all the hair and sweat, especially because I already sweat a bunch. I also wish my chest was flat but that alone doesn’t mean anything.

I don’t know if I’m just confused or something because my introduction to this stuff was when I was younger and someone at my school said they were nonbinary and me being the stupid kid that had no friends I said I was too, now I know that doesn’t make sense and was a bad thing to do  but now I’m worried it set me off rail and got me to convince myself that I’m something I’m not…I’m just stressed about this because I haven’t told anybody the full thing because I’m scared to and I don’t want to “come out” when I have no idea of anything, and I’m scared of the medical part of it and I’m afraid my parents would just take me directly to a doctor.

I know that I’ve got time but I don’t like having this lingering over my head, and I know strangers on the internet can’t tell me for sure if I am or not but I figured to shouldn’t hurt to ask for advise

Discussion Whats the funniest thing someone has said to you because your trans?

For me it was probably when me and my friend were discussing how I draw some crazy shit in class and the teachers dgaf and they just said "Its- oh shit this is gonna sound rlly transphobic, but they'd probably react worse if you were a boy" like yes bro, no shit they'd react worse if I were OUT TO THEM or biologically a boy. Idk how the teachers haven't realized because all the students know in my grade...

Vent Dysphoria’s catching up on me.

Im actually so mad this is the fourth time i gotta rewrite this so its gonna be short. I dont usually post here but I dont have anyone to tell abt this anyways so at least i can empty it all here

Trigger warning: bad english

So hey. Im 16 ftm and ive known it since forever. Ive always wanted to be a boy as a kid and always felt disgusted/weird abt my body and i learned to live with it since i live in a religious transphobic family and cant really come out. So ive been patiently waitinf to turn 18 to start my transition

So my issue is that ive been staying up all night this week thinking about my body and my life and how miserable i am because of being trans. And whatever i try to distract myself from it doesnt workk like guys pls free me😞😞 tonight is a really good example cause despite texting friends, reading comics, trying to sleep, gooning, scrolling, i just keep on getting back to the spiraling.

And it really annoys me bc im usually a morning person especially during break but i just cant wake up early when i sleep at 4-5.

Epic second part:

Relationships are so ass too cause i just keep thinking my partners think abt it. Like hear me out, ive had this one gf for a bit who was so fucking sweet and nothing abt her was wrong yk? But the thing is she would always complain abt men and say that she could never talk to one n shit and she’d say im ‘different’ but idk how to take it. Different how? Cause im nice? Many guys are. Cause im born a female? Maybe. I never asked her abt it. The only probably two times i talked to her abt my dysphoria was a week or so ago and she barely reacted and switched the subject.

It kind of pisses me off that she doesnt get it bc shes the only person who knows abt it who i can rant to.

Also thats a pretty basic thing but i hate my voice so much. Its so high and it disgusts me. I cant even send voice memos to my online friends anymore bc i get flashbacks of the times i accidentally listened to my own voice memo and i sounded so much like a girl i stopped sending voice memos since then. (Irl friends not included bc im comfortable with them hearing my voice since they already do everyday.)

I lied this wasnt so short after all. I hear footsteps upstairs. I cant believe i stayed up until sm1 wakes up again. Good night im going to bed. Parts/most of this probably dont make sense but its 4 in fhe morning and ive had a long fucking day okay? Im not sure how to end this. Bye.

Question A question for my ftm bros

So my ftm bros I wanna know if I can wear sports bra instead of trans tape and binder because I can't buy them without telling my dad and my uncle and aunt (I live with my uncle my mom's brother who is the biggest transphobic in the world). I tried coming out to my dad but he doesn't believe me and I am having very bad dysphoria. I don't know what to do 😭.

Vent Iwhy am I this scared to come out?

I plan on coming out to my mom's tomorrow because we're going on a birthday trip (turned 17 today so that's nice I guess). And obviously I'm scared af, and I don't understand why. My mom has said to me and my sister that she would be accepting of us no matter what, I mean she's married to another woman of course she would be accepting, so why am I so scared to come out?

Ok this doesn't really have a lot it's just I needed to say something because all my friends do is just awkwardly pat me on the back and say that they'll accept me.

Edit: I DID IT! It was more awkward than I expected but still, im out to my moms!

Vent I wanna tell him so badly...

For a couple of days now, I've been wanting to tell my best friend that I'm trans (mtf) at school super badly, but I haven't had any time for us to just be alone. He also knows I want to tell him something, but he hasn't asked me about it. I just really want to tell him face to face. I really don't want to text him : "Hey, <insert name> I'm a girl." Because I did that when I came out as bi, and I hated it; i wish i never came out that way.

Today at lunch, I got a tiny bit of alone time with him (for like 3 minutes), and I really wanted to tell him then. But when I tried to speak, nothing came out.

Just wanted to vent, I guess

Advice needed Please help me with my questioning

ok so i am a masc lesbian. i became a lot more masc this year, fashion wise, mainly as my mum didnt rly give as many fashion suggestions and i was still differentia between what looks nice and what i want to wear yk.

anyway i have a boyish haircut. people on the streets sometimes call me a boy. idk why, but i love this. so much that i am actively trying to hide that i am a girl. like wearing compressive sports bras and slouching kinda so my chest is hidden. i kinda feel anxious abt people thinking im not male which has never happened before. sometimes i wish i could wake up as male but only sometimes. i told my friends and they are telling me i am a trans man.

idk tho. my grandmas pointed out that last year i bought 2 sarees with my mum and i don’t feel that much like a boy, tho there is this feeling that i am more boy than girl. i thought over it, and i really like the idea of being referred to with he or they pronouns. i also think id like it if i were male but not completely?

im so confused and idk what this is. can anyone here pls help?

Vent I hate being trans + gay (long rant) NSFW

Tw: genitalia

I cut my hair, I wear boy clothes, I wear the boys uniform, I changed my name in the school system. Also change my sex in the school system, but some people still think im a girl, I don't get why, my face has always being naturally masculine, i don't have a high voice. I'm so mad wtf does it take to be a boy. I'm also mad seeing the comments from a lot of social media "i wouldn't date trans guys" "it makes me icky" "not a real boy" "why do they have female genitals" is not like I wanna have one either. Is not like I wanna have a chest either. I just wanna be a cis guy. A lot of my friends in school already have a partner, even the lgbtq ones are already on talking stages. While im just there, would it be easier if I was bi?? I forced myself to liking women but I can't. It'll be so much easier if I was either cis or straight and in neither. It's so hard to find a partner who likes trans people + whos also gay + whos fine with me having a female genitals and a not so flat chest. I fucking hate this. Im never finding a boyfriend.
