I'd rather everything it revealed be shown in the main story and it did irreparable damage to the blue family head. I'm now not that excited about his introduction.

I'll start!

It was September 2024. I was watching anime and reading manga like crazy, and I had a pretty long list of anime I wanted to watch. Tower of God was on that list, and it caught my attention.

I didn't fall in love with it right away, but it was really interesting. Way too interesting. I remember watching every episode with so much curiosity, and whenever one ended, I'd be like, "Wait, it's over already? Nooo!"

I simply loved it as a series, so I decided to buy the manga. But when I looked it up online, I was surprised to discover that there wasn't a physical manga. Instead, it was a webtoon you read on a digital platform called WEBTOON. Before that, I'd never read a webtoon in my life.

When I started reading, things were a little confusing because I didn't know how the app worked, and I made a lot of silly mistakes.

Still, I managed to catch up with everything available at the time, up to around Season 3, Chapter 222, in just two months, from early October to late November.

I still remember the night I read the entire Workshop Battle. Best all-nighter I've ever had.

That's when I truly fell in love with Tower of God. I couldn't help it. There was so much story, so much content, so much of EVERYTHING. Beyond the magnificent story itself, I think the sheer size of the series is what made me such a huge fan. There's always something new to think about, explore, and enjoy!

And somewhere around the Hell Train arc, I became a KhunBam/BamKhun shipper. It's the first ship I've ever been this obsessed with. God, they're so perfect together. 😍 And Khun was the one who made me ship them. His obsession with Baam just seems so romantic to me!

After catching up with the manhwa, the era of crazy fics began. I've read too many to count, and they made me fall even more in love with Khun × Baam 🌰❄️.

I also discovered Yole's art. Actually, even though I mentioned the fics first, the very first KhunBam content I saw was Yole's artwork. She's now my favorite artist!

That phase lasted for pretty much all of 2025.

I also discovered Reddit and Twitter. I used both with anonymous accounts at first, and that's where I met some wonderful people.

There was u/Sir_Basson_Sonata. I had no idea someone could adore Hwaryun so much and be a living Tower of God wiki at the same time.

There was a Tomato, whom I always wanted to turn into tomato sauce. Pasta with tomato sauce—yum, yum!

There was u/Yuitheblackx_16, my fellow KhunBam shipper.

And there was u/hereforspoopystuff, the kind girl who organized contests I always participated in. After a long time, she would become my fandom mamá.

Around July 2025, I started developing an idea for some incredibly detailed analyses, and I'm still working on them. Basson is helping me with the project. If you're interested, feel free to ask me about it! It'll be a long time before the analyses are ready, though.

I've always enjoyed Sapphic Week, a themed week celebrating lesbian relationships. I've written several fics just for myself, but they're way too bad to publish.

As silly as it might sound, I really wanted KhunBam to win Spooky's contest. So I gathered my courage and created a non-anonymous account. I called it Basil to pull a little prank on Tomato, and I posted a fanart collection!

Unfortunately, an automod removed it after about a day because my account was too new.

But creating a proper account had been a dream of mine, so I started interacting with the community, and now here I am, working on this daily-post project and The Strongest Ranker Tournament!

I'm afraid this project will probably run for one week on and one week off, since I'm busy with Flufftober, a writing event where you publish a fic every day based on a different prompt, like going shopping.

Edahn says thyrsaas went extinct or killed by 10 GFLs. RT one of the known thyrsaas was able to take shinsu away from UM, an irregular. Is it possible for GFLs to destroy an entire race when even one of them could strip away their shinsu? One of the reasons why I believe FLs can't defeat guardians because they can take away their shinsu.

Could they be of different lineage? We don't know the story behind BT, but his design quite matches with RT. BT also says I am a demon u guys created. It's also seen as one of the demons in flashback of Traumerei's climb.

Havent followed much the community for the most part so I'm curious if its a me thing.

Infinite potential they said. So much it could have been, and all I've seen as the story goes on is just glorified beam of different colors.

I didn't need Shinsoo to be nen level of complexity.

But at least don't just make it a damage check with fancy names. When Reading I felt like very little differentiated characters abilities beyond their visual and offensive potency.

To me it made fights more boring ( and I already think TOG past the Wall just madea nose dive on many area... Jeez did I hated the marriage arc )

But perhaps I wanted too much. TOG has other issues so I brushed this problem off.

So I'm kinda curious if its a hot take or something the fandom just didn't care about.

Context: Community’s frustration/confusion with season 3 and the overall IP at large.

I love Tower of God. Season 1 is one of the most enchanting stories I’ve ever read, from the art style to the setup, the world building and characters, as well as the narrative/plot. Season 2 is such an incredible journey as we see everything we love from Season 1 get to develop and blossom into a more in-depth narrative. Season 3 — while it has its own problems and I will not deny the existence of them — IMO continues to build off the momentum of S1/S2 to further create an incredible story and world.

I am frustrated with the various narratives/takes I see from the ToG community, mostly pertaining to Season 3. I do not deny S3 has issues with pacing, plot holes here and there, art style changes, etc. but most of the complaints I see are very shallow or contrived. For example, a post on here a couple days ago complaining about Yasratcha and division commanders flashbacks (I’m not good at Reddit I don’t know how to link stuff). When I see those comments and many that are similar in spirit, it makes me sad to know that a lot of people are reading this story at a surface level and either not trying to engage with the themes and subtext that SIU is illustrating, or they don’t actually love the story enough to want to do so.

I know this post is incredibly vague so feel free to call me out for it. I just think that many readers in the community are only consuming what is shown on each panel and not reading between the lines. There is certainly valid criticism for SIU and the story, but there is also a lot of unwarranted criticism and frustration due to a lack of reading comprehension.

I can’t be the only one but V possessing Baam’s body is actually quite similar to Raizen possessing Yusuke’s body in Yu Yu Hakusho. It’s not just about the “super op father possessing his op mc son” trope; there’s more depth to it. As a huge fan of both I don’t see it as a bad thing, but the influence is there most likely, tho its much more better written, layered and mystical in TOG, at least it seems like it for now.

There are characters who feel pretty well-liked overall, yet somehow end up with a reputation for being “controversial” or widely disliked. When you actually look around, most people seem to like or at least tolerate them the intense dislike usually comes from a smaller group that’s very consistent and very loud about it. A lot of their reasons also feel… selective. Has this ever changed how you viewed a character? Do you think the volume of that hate can distort how the fandom as a whole feels about them?

Pretty basic choice of songs but while I was reading his ark I couldn’t get “Creep” by Radiohead out of my head, to some degree in my opinion he fits the lyrics and vibe of the song. What do you think?

1. Hatz × Endorsi

En la primera temporada del anime, hubo una pequeña referencia a esta pareja.

Endorsi es vivaz y atrevida, mientras que Hatz es serio y un poco torpe en el amor.

Me imagino situaciones en las que Endorsi coquetea con él y Hatz ni se da cuenta, lo que da lugar a divertidos malentendidos. O tal vez Hatz se toma demasiado en serio algo como planear la cita perfecta, convirtiéndola en una especie de entrenamiento militar sin descanso.

Hatz y Khun se detestan. Todo el mundo lo sabe. Ambos son tercos y orgullosos, pero bajo todo ese orgullo, Hatz esconde un corazón de oro.

Tras la (falsa) muerte de Baam, Khun queda devastado. Hatz se preocupa en secreto por él e intenta ayudarlo, y con el tiempo esos sentimientos se convierten en algo más.

Por ejemplo, cada vez que Khun tiene fiebre, Hatz se vuelve increíblemente estricto y se niega a dejarlo levantarse de la cama bajo ninguna circunstancia. Lo cuida con total dedicación, y Khun odia toda la atención que recibe.

1. Hatz × Shibisu

Shibisu es muy apegada. Desde que se convirtieron en compañeros de equipo, prácticamente se ha lanzado contra Hatz, para disgusto de este último, por supuesto.

Realmente valora a su espadachín y lo ha usado como escudo humano varias veces ante... situaciones inesperadas.

Hatz considera a Shibisu una molestia, una molestia que jamás dejaría morir.

1. Hatz × White

La habilidad de White con la espada es bien conocida, y según él, Hatz no sabe manejar una espada. Es completamente inútil. Un orangután con un palo.

Por eso White decidió tomarlo como aprendiz. Simplemente no podía soportar ver a Hatz blandir una espada de esa manera. White es un maestro muy estricto e impaciente, pero afortunadamente, Hatz aprende rápido.

Con el tiempo, Hatz empieza a sentir algo más que admiración por su maestro.

Para Hatz, Baam es un hombre honorable. Vive con integridad y es verdaderamente admirable.

Baam también admira a Hatz. Su determinación y destreza con la espada, a pesar de no pertenecer a una de las Diez Grandes Familias, son increíbles. ¡Y además es una persona muy amable!

Personalmente, Hatz × Endorsi es mi favorita. He leído varios fanfics sobre ellos, ¡y me encanta su dinámica!

Yihwa is 14 y/o when choosen and 19 when she first met Viole. She failed to become a princess of Jahad, however she doesn't seem to have a dark past like Elaine/Kaiser.

Her childhood friend or aquintance before climbing, Ryua, is seemingly a normal girl who likes to gossip and is very caring of Yihwa, instead of encourage her to fight a slayer candidate she keep warned her not to fight him¹.

A woman she calls Mama is a wise person who teaches her that power should come with responsibilities.

So here's my theories:

1. Yihwa's parents didn't want her to become a princess but couldn't openly say so like in PB Tiara case². So they arranged her marriage with a ranker from a branch family of another great family⁴.

2. Maria's mother's family³ tricks Yihwa's parents to make the engagement.

Yura was introduced in Season 2, Chapter 114. At first, she was a pretty mysterious character.

«"No...!! I said no!! I need it!! I can't live like this!! I don't need fans, fame, pretty clothes, or money!! What I really need is...!"»

Eventually, we discovered that what she wanted was her mother, who was in the Hidden Floor.

Her family history is quite tragic. Her mother belonged to the Ha Family, while her father was descended from those who betrayed the Ten Great Families and was affected by a curse that caused his children to be stillborn or born sick.

When her mother became pregnant, the Great Creator offered her a deal so that both twins could survive: she would give birth to the girl outside the Hidden Floor and the boy inside, where the curse could be broken.

And that's how Yura and her twin brother were born.

Yura lived happily with her mother in the Middle Area until rumors about a woman from the Ha Family giving birth to an extraordinary child reached the family, and they began hunting them down.

The last time Yura saw her mother, she gave her the mirror fragment and told her to find her in the Hidden Floor. However, her mother decided to turn herself in to the family and die.

Yura became famous to escape the Ha Family, but also because she hoped her mother would be able to see her.

I'm not going to explain the whole Hwang situation because this is already getting too long. If you'd like to know more, feel free to ask!

And that's Yura's story. However, in the most recent chapters, she seems to have more of a presence than an actual role in the story, accompanying Rachel while her desire for revenge against the Ten Great Families remains unresolved.

Do you think Yura will continue to develop as a character, or has her story reached its end?

She has almost no interiority. No real backstory, no clear personal goals beyond guide the Irregular so FUG’s wishes come true,and a personality that mostly boils down to smug smiles, cryptic lines, and I already saw the path.

She shows up when the plot needs a guide to move things forward, drops some info (or withholds it), then dips. Compare that to Evan, who at least has opinions and pushback. With Hwaryun it feels like SIU just needed a Guide who sticks close to Bam and never bothered to give her anything else.

Anyone else feel this way about her, or am I missing something?

Arie Hon, the strongest FL while much about him isn't known what we do know is that he is always alone. And guess who was alone too? Traumerei. Data Jahad also says talking about being alone.

Another interesting thing is All 3 seems to be control freaks. Jahad wants to control even fate. Traumerei we know wanted to control All of Creation. Meanwhile Hon might be about control of sword.

Besides another common point is that Traumerei follows Jahad. Interestingly, if we go by BP lore, Hon is also a follower of Jahad. Adori is already a die hard follower. I don't think all top 3 family will be anti Jahad. Like Yurin isn't happy with Jahad regarding Yuri. Edahn seems to be neutral given depending on his mood seems to take order from Jahad while also completely discarding it. The only remaining Hon should be pro Jahad.

Given Traumerei got a whole season and we know Jahad might also get a special treatment, is it far fetched to say Hon might also be treated specially?

Basically, I created an OC for ToG just to pass the time while waiting for the new season.

At first, it was fine, but because I’m a bit of a perfectionist—and the storyline wasn't fully fleshed out—I ended up with a character who had massive gaps in her background. Naturally, this made things really difficult for myself; I’d laid the groundwork for this OC about two years ago, only to have her backstory upended recently by the Urek spin-off (QAQ).

I’ve come up with a new version that’s arguably better than the old one, but those information gaps are really hard to fill. So, if anyone here has created an OC before or has any interesting insights, could you please drop them here for me to check out? I’m trying to build a solid storyline for my OC.

Btw, my OC is a Tower native; she climbed the Tower alongside the GW, much like Amizu. Her pairing is with Eduan (don't ask why—I like it that way, so I made it happen; honestly, if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have created an OC at all). I dug around on Wiki and learned that the FH might have had children while climbing the Tower (?if I recall correctly), so I gave them a child together. As for the rest of the story... I'm a bit stuck; I’ve done some planning, but it’s all pretty vague because there’s just so little information available.

So far I am around the end of the cat tower and I got to see I hate it. It’s all battle battle battle flashbacks and the entire chapter is dedicated to characters that don’t matter in the long run battle battle battle. I mean it’s kinda happened in the first half of season two but at least then I cared and I loved it. The first half of season two was amazing.
